Deep in the jungles of Nicaragua, the members of the Saint Squad were faced with an impossible decision: neutralize the threat to national security or ensure that all their team members walked out alive. Choosing his safety over the country’s was a risk Brent wasn’t willing to take. He ran headlong into danger to save the nation and did not come back with his team . . .
Amy Miller watched the video feed as her husband disappeared in a furious explosion. Even so, without hard evidence to the contrary, she refuses to believe Brent is dead. She and the rest of the Saint Squad fight to launch a rescue mission to recover him even as they battle the threat against the United States. The clock is ticking, and the Saint Squad must face their enemy head-on to thwart a plan that spells imminent devastation.

The final book in The Saint Squad Series has arrived. Reconnect is book #14, and it delivers an incredible conclusion. This last installment highlights the dedication and loyalty of The Saint Squad to one another. While I feel sad to see the series end, the author promises we will still get to see these characters in future stories.
This review won’t dive into specifics to avoid spoilers. Just know that the story is filled with action, suspense, humor, romance, and it's hard to put down. The story follows The Saint Squad as they undertake a dangerous rescue mission for one of their own. Readers also get a look at President Whitmore's early challenges in his new role. The author cleverly weaves in characters from a related series as well.
For those new to the series, make sure to read the books in order. This approach will help you understand the plot better and make it more enjoyable. Overall, all the lingering questions were answered, and everything wrapped up nicely. I felt particularly happy for the characters and their families. A big thank you to the author for this wonderful series. The Saint Squad will always be one of my favorites, and I know I’ll read it again in the future. It’s just that good.
“Tristan stared at his brother-in-law. ‘Are you okay? You’ve been surprisingly logical ever since the carrier.’ ‘I’ve hijacked a helicopter and two planes this week. I’m great.’”
Oh my goodness! This book is so good!! I wanted to sit down and read it all at once, but since it’s the last book in the Saint Squad series, I made myself slow down and savor it as much as possible. It was so hard to do, since I didn’t want to wait any longer to find out if Brent survived. Reconnect is by far the most action-packed of all the Saint Squad novels, and I loved every second of it! I’m so sad to see this series end, but I have on good authority that these characters will make appearances in other books. (Personally, I’m hoping Carina’s sisters get their own books, especially if we get to see more of Pete! And I’m curious about Doug’s daughters, too!) If you love suspense and romance and haven’t read this series, what are you waiting for?!
I received an advanced copy from the author and publisher. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I’ve been following this series since the beginning and while I’m sad to see it come to a close, this final installment is every bit as breathtaking and thrilling as I had hoped for.
Traci Hunter Abramson left readers on an uneasy cliffhanger last year, but this story was worth the wait and filled in every crack of my heart and soul.
The Saint Squad series must be read in order to get the full effect of this team and their connections, roles, relationships, and missions, and especially the last two books in the set.
I don’t want to spoil anything, but I will say this incredible author does a dynamic job of creating comradery, perilous romantic suspense, and dangerous situations that feel real and make the heart pound. I’m beyond satisfied and impressed with everything about this book.
Content: mild war-type violence

WOW! Reconnect goes out with a HUGE bang since it's the last in this series, and I am glad I had the chance to read it in mostly one sitting. Long weekends are useful that way.
The Saint Squad has been a part of my life for over almost two decades; I love them all so dearly!
The characters have become family. We’ve laughed. We’ve cried. We’ve cheered. Am I ready to for that to come to an end? Absolutely not.
That having been said, is this book the best epic finish I could’ve asked for? Yes, yes it is!
It has all the elements we’ve come to know and love in Saint Squad books: love, laughter, military intrigue, faith interwoven into every day lives.
This read gives you ALL. THE. FEELS.
Truly, this is the very best end the Saint Squad could have asked for!

~The clock is ticking, and the Saint Squad must face their enemy head-on to thwart a plan that spells imminent devastation. And this time, there can be no mistakes.
-RECONNECT, is the epic 14th book in the fantastic Saint Squad Series by dear author Traci Hunter Abramson. I don’t think I can convey enough of what an excellent series this is. But friends, trust me when I say that, if you love devotion, teamwork, loyalty, conviction, heart racing suspense, tension, humor, great adventure, witty banter and dialogue, friendship, family, swoony sweet romance, political intrigue, and dear relatable characters with such heart, then yes, this series is for you! I am telling you, this amazing series should be on your radar. Every single story is worth the read and to truly love this complete series, you must do yourself a favor and start with book one! Each book is quick paced and will immediately grab your attention and your heart.
RECONNECT, is no exception! This is a clean romantic suspense novel with light Christian themes. It is the final epic adventure and weaved with such heart all along the way! It will not disappoint! It is an emotional and gripping story so I recommend carving out time to read it because once you begin, you will be fully engaged with time clicking and you won’t be able to or want to stop! Danger will lurk around every corner so brace yourself for peril ahead, trials in pathways, and also for such joy ahead in this captivating adventure. Oh what a thrill and all the emotions this rollercoaster of a story took me on, and oh what a satisfying place where the story left me when completed. This series deserves all the stars and I am left satisfied and better off because of the journey! 14 stories that are so worth the read! The impact has made a difference in my heart!❤️📚💯
“If you stumble, I’ll be right here to help you back up.”
-Content: perilous situations, explosions, no language, kisses only.
-I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.
Reconnect is one of my new favorite reads! Danger lurked around every corner. Just when I thought crisis was averted another problem arose again and again and again. I really enjoyed the push and pull of saving the country, protecting their team, and fighting for family. Working mother’s wondering about their kids, working fathers fearing they won’t make it back, and a president that has to make the really tough decisions that will impact them all. Wow. I did not want to put this book down. Great fight scenes especially at the end. And those Saint Squad personalities made me want to read every book in the series. So entertaining! CW: People shot and stabbed. dead bodies. Not graphic. No foul language or spicy scenes.
This book was the perfect ending for this awesome series. It was action packed from the first page and I could not stop reading. Love this series and will be rereading them all again soon
I enjoyed this book quite a bit and felt like it was a good ending for this series. There were a few things that felt a bit unrealistic but other than that it was well done.
This one felt a little long and dragged out. Maybe that’s cause I read Disconnect and this one back to back, and the overall threat was through both books. It also felt a little too unrealistic with how big the threat was/how close it came in the end. But overall still enjoyed it and love the Saint Squad forever and ever!
I was so upset at the way the last book ended. I wondered if I even wanted to read another in the series. After a year to cool off, I was ready to give it a try and this book did not disappoint. Sometimes the Saint Squad members get a little goofy but they pull together and are united in their mission and purpose. There were cheesy parts and I rolled my eyes a few times but those parts helped to relieve the overall tension of this book. I loved that some ghosts were involved in the story but there were not as many of the other characters from prior stories as I thought there would be. I guess that would have been more of a distraction than an additive to the story. It is intense and hard to put down. It wraps everything up nicely in the end, so that makes it a good end to the series.
An amazing end to an amazing series. I love the Saint Squad! This book was super intense. Picked up right where the last one left off and didn’t really let up till the end. Multiple twists and turns throughout. I loved that we got to see characters from her Guardian series. I love the small jokes from the saint squad and how they treat each other like family- which they are. So good! If you are thinking of reading this book- be sure to start at the beginning. Amazing cast of characters! Amazing books! Thanks Traci for giving me hours of entertainment.
Here’s what we loved about it: 🌟The found family so well portrayed amidst the Saint Squad. 🌟The tension of Brent’s fate was paced so perfectly 🌟 The empathy Traci used to show us how much goes on behind the scenes of our country for our good 🌟 Traci’s attention to the details in the decisions both big and small of the characters 🌟 The tree climbing 🌟 The plane hijacking 🌟 Beautifully handled faith questions
It’s sad to say good bye to the saint squad. I’m hoping maybe in other guardians books we may still see them. But it’s still a disappointment to have their storyline end.
I have to say the plot line was much weaker in this one than the book proceeding it which was a bummer, especially as the ending point.
The heart-stopping finale we’ve all been waiting for is finally here! Reconnect starts off with jaw-dropping suspense & doesn’t let up until the very end. Traci Hunter Abramson weaves those sweet relationships, the honor, integrity, & loyalty of the Saint Squad, the tender romance, delightful humor, & edge of your seat suspense I’ve loved in this series into a big beautiful bow for every fan. For all those who read Disconnect & were on pins & needles needing answers, I’m so excited to say this was well worth the wait!
Without giving away too much, the Saint Squad is dealing with the impossible. One of their own was left for dead in Nicaragua while they were trying to thwart a terrorist plot. Brent knew the risks & willingly put his life on the line. But, his wife Amy refuses to give up. She & the Saint Squad launch a rescue mission to determine if he somehow managed to survive. Meanwhile, there’s a terrifying plot against the U.S. putting multiple American cities in danger. As they race against the clock to discover & neutralize the threat, it all comes down to the wire in this thrilling conclusion.
Reconnect was everything I hoped for & more. It answered all my questions & left me fully satisfied feeling like these characters were in good hands. While I’m sad to see the series end, I’m so happy they’ll still be around in the author’s other books. This book & the entire series are so special. The relationships, friendships, & support these characters display make them feel so real & authentic. Through the painful, difficult situations & the elation & joy, the love & concern they have for each other is palpable.
The suspense doesn’t let up through the entire book. Each moment is fraught with danger as the Saint Squad attempts to save the day. There’s also a bit of crossover with other characters from other books & we get to see Pres. Whitmore in action. And Jay! There’re trees involved, but he gets his moment to shine.
This series is an absolute must read for suspense fans! To appreciate this amazing finale, I definitely recommend reading the previous books in the series especially Disconnect. I received an advanced complimentary copy from the author. All opinions are my own & voluntarily provided.
What a way to end a series!! Reconnect picks up where Disconnect left off—with Brent separated from his Seal team. His wife, Amy, refuses to believe he's dead and his team wants to return and rescue him right away, but we all know the Saint Squad doesn't go in without a plan.
I don't want to give any spoilers, so I'll say this is another gripping installment in the Saint Squad series that had my complete attention from the beginning. Going back and forth from the jungles of Nicaragua to the White House in a race against time to thwart a devastating attack. The mix of strategic planning, unexpected twists, and edge-of-your-seat action sequences make this book hard to put down and will keep you up at night. Be prepared to put everything aside.
What I love about this series: • The love and friendship between the characters • The loyalty of the team • The suspense • Someone is always in a tree (IYKYK) • Someone is always hungry—cue the cinnamon rolls • Witty banter between all of the characters • The sense of family
I read my first Saint Squad book in 2013, so I'm sad to see one of my favorite series come to an end. The author has said we'll see these beloved characters in other series, which makes me so happy because after 14 books it's hard to let them go. This book was worth the wait and a wonderful way to end a much-loved series.
If you love clean suspense I can't recommend this series enough. Start with book #1 Freefall and go in order. I guarantee once you start you won't want to stop until you've read them all.
I received a complimentary paperback from the publisher but also bought an ebook for my digital library. All thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are my own.
Content: military violence, suspense, political intrigue, romance-kisses only.
After the Saint Squad was forced to leave behind a team member, they are hoping against all evidence that he is still alive and waiting to be rescued. But as a new terrorist plot is uncovered and the danger mounts, the squad races to stop the threat before they lose everything they have sworn to protect.
I am not even going to make a list for this one because I don't want to say anything that could spoil even the tiniest detail for you. So I will simply say that this is a romantic suspense with multiple pov and is the 14th and FINAL book in what can only be described as an epic series.
Fourteen stories of teamwork, brotherhood, and loyalty. Fourteen stories packed with heart pounding suspense and adventure. Fourteen stories sharing sweet but oh, so swoony romance. Fourteen stories with political intrigue, witty dialogue, and strong friendships. Fourteen stories watching Quinn look for food and Jay climb a tree. Fourteen stories full of characters that have stolen my heart.
As sad as I am to see this series end, this final saga was the perfect finish to to an epic adventure! I binged the entire book in one sitting as I savored each and every word, and was completely wrapped up in the story from page one through the perfect epilogue. Such an emotional and gripping story!
You need to start with the first book, Freefall and I know, I know. Fourteen books can sound a little overwhelming if you haven't read them yet BUT I promise once you start, you are going to fly through them because you won't want to stop!!
Oh, Saint Squad. How I will miss you!! Now the only thing left to do is re-read the entire series and enjoy the adventure all over again!
Content: perilous situations, explosions, no language, kisses only.
I received a complimentary copy but a positive review was not required.
"...they're resourceful. If there's a way out, they'll find it."
WHAT A BOOK!! Anyone who read Disconnect is guaranteed to be reading Reconnect in a few days when it releases (February 4)-and if you fall into that category (having read Disconnect) just know this book will not let you down!
TLDR: 1-Read this series (this is book 14 of 14) 2-Read this series in order 3-Thank me later!
I feel like I've grown up on this series. I know these characters because they have taken up so much of my brain space over the last several years. This series is still one of my most favorite series ever read and while it is sad that this is the Saint Squad finale...these characters aren't going away for good-we're still going to see them in spin-off series and will still get to be part of their lives. (Yes, I know they are fictional lol).
I'm really am always up for a good suspense read and Traci's are always at the top of my list. Her writing is captivating and I'm always trying to figure it out before we hit 'the end'.
'...they were faced with a puzzle that had so many pieces, they couldn't find the edges, much less fill in the picture.'
If you're familiar with her books you know exactly how these twists and turns keep you guessing until the final pages. HERE FOR IT! I don't want to give too much away, just know you want to read this one (and any book this author writes)!
This book is definitely making my top favorites list for 2025!
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
Content/Trigger: military violence, suspense, political intrigue, romance-kisses only.
How does one review the last book in a series that has captured their whole heart? How do I put into words what this book and series have meant to me? There needs to be an option to select ten stars and somehow add a feeling to this review that showed how much I experienced and felt while I read this story. What I can say is, I loved it. What I can say is, I felt EVERYTHING while reading it. What I can say is, it was the PERFECT ending to the series that hooked me into reading romantic suspense. From Freefall to Lock and Key to Covert Ops to Disconnect to Reconnect, these fictional characters became family and each time I read the peril they faced and the trials in their paths, I was fully invested. Reconnect had me on the edge of my seat and boy oh boy, what a ride. I don't want to spoil anything so this will be short from here on out, but I stand by my statement that this was the perfect way to tie up the Saint Squad's stories. The number of tears I shed (of worry, empathetic sadness, and more importantly joy) was borderline ridiculous, but just goes to show what a fantastic job Traci Hunter Abramson did with this story. Saint Squad fans will not be disappointed. I'm going to remember this one forever. I recommend this book with my whole heart, though I strongly encourage reading it in series order so that the full impact will land. This is a clean romantic suspense novel with light Christian themes.
O MY GOODNESS THIS BOOK! I just don’t even know where to start! As sad as I am that this is the last official Saint Squad book, Reconnect is the perfect, heart-pounding finale to a series that has completely stolen my heart! I was completely devastated when I finished the last page of Disconnect! But after anxiously waiting for several months (thank you Covenant Communications and Traci for releasing this book to us early!) Reconnect picks right up where the other book left off! After unexpected complications cause the mission in Nicaragua to end with disaster, the Saint Squad refuses to give up hope! Between a daring rescue operation, and a new terrorist threat emerging that puts American cities in grave danger, this book will have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish! With time running out, President Whitmore and his team, the Saint Squad, Amy, Vanessa, and the Ghosts all must rely on their unshakable loyalty, quick thinking, and unwavering courage to save the day. The action is nonstop, and the relationships feel so real, drawing you in as if you’re part of the story! I’ve followed these characters through every mission, every challenge, and every heartfelt moment, and this final book made me love them even more. If you haven’t started this series yet, trust me, you’re missing out on something truly special! Thank you Traci for bringing these books into our lives!
