Esta saga no deja de superarse, y Magia de Tormenta y Furia fue, sin duda, la entrega más intensa de todas hasta ahora. Lo que sentí leyendo este libro fue como una tormenta emocional. Todo el caos que se venía gestando explota, y con él, también lo hacen los personajes, sus miedos, pasiones y sus verdades.

La protagonista sigue creciendo de una forma que me emociona muchísimo. Ya no es solo la chica valiente, ahora es una mujer que empieza a elegir por sí misma, a pesar del dolor, del amor y del fuego cruzado.

Y el romance… Dios mío, el romance. En este libro se siente más profundo, más dolido, más urgente. Esa clase de amor que no se dice pero se grita en cada gesto, decisión y sacrificio. Me tuvo con el corazón apretado desde el primer capítulo 🫠🔥.

not my favorite

The writing was fine. The world building was fine. The original plot from book 1 which continues into this book was ok. I just personally didn’t enjoy the main character, so I don’t think I can read any more of this series. She just does stuff and doesn’t think. Like entering into a magical deal for an undefined favor for anything (including killing someone), to pay for a house. A house that could be hit by a tornado or burn down the next day. I kept reading from book 1, hoping for some character growth. She actually gets worse. Some people are like that. So I can’t fault the author for writing about such a character. I’m sure some readers really enjoy it. However, it’s not my preference.

Okay this series started off so good I did like the first book but the main character got progressively more annoying. These all end on cliff hangers leading to the next book but in every single book we’re re-describing pretty much every scene and character from the first two it’s very annoying. At this point if people don’t know who the characters are or that dashes house is a farm house with a red barn or who Kolton is then they have bigger problems. Repetitiveness is infuriating.

Llegué a la página 133 del libro y no pude seguir leyendo. El primero me gustó, solo que al final sentí que ella había sido bastante inútil en cuanto a habilidades. Pero en fin, seguí con el segundo y me iba gustando, pero ya con el tercero era como si la vida de Kat girará en torno a Dash, a quién apenas veía, y qué no le había dicho nada. Es decir, el tipo era parte de los malos, y por una sola acción, ella ya lo quería salvar. Perdió como todo el asunto la trama. Ella demasiada envuelta en un Dash que no creo que se haya sentido igual, es decir, ¡hasta se sacrificó por él!
Se supone que Kat tiene 37 años, pero actúa y piensa como alguien de 2o o menos jajaja no pude sentirme identificada con ella.
En cuanto a Dash, casi no aparece en los libros como para formarme algo de él, solo son los pensamientos de Kat. Prefiero a Blake, pero ella lo odia. jajaj En fin, me hubiera gustado seguir leyendo, creo que la trama era buena, sin embargo ya estábamos en el libro tres y todavía no entiendo sus poderes, y ella ni siquiera sabe usarlos. Me estresaba eso, porque parecía que ella invencible, pero no sabía realmente darles un uso. Cada decisión era peor que la otra.

She learns a thing or two about Blake the annoying town sheriff. Dash is an enigma, full of surprises! Neighbours Annette, Tilly & Cristina, Kolton & others are an integral part of the action with its twists and turns.

Creative writing skills and superb word imagery in this third book of the series, take us on a journey of endless excitement. A perfect blend of humour, magic, romance, along with some anxiety and a few terrifying moments, capture our attention throughout another wonderful read.

but really!!!

Oh my goodness!!! Wow! Just big ole shocker wow! Kat finally got Dash away from some of the bads only to have him taken again. The house, the crazy family, the nutty cult, plus the every day life stresses are literally tearing Kat apart. I truly feel bad for her. There’s some serious big plot twists happening and I’m quite shocked. I gotta say I really like Kolton. And Annette. And I’m loving the world building and the intrigue that just keeps flowing!! I really don’t wanna wait for book 4 but I’m hanging on!!!

I really liked the first two books. Kat's character while a little scatterbrained sometimes was set up to be a kick-ass detective. Then she just falls completely apart in this book and starts making very bad decisions. I basically skimmed the entire book to see if it got any better. For me, it did not.

This series really keeps you holding onto the edge of your seat. It really is a thrill ride. Sounds cliché, but this series is anything but! I can't wait for the next book and then hopefully another after that and another. That's how exciting this series really is.
