A new job promotion has Sovanna packin’ up and, temporarily, moving back to her home state. To celebrate her and her accomplishments, her girls take Sovanna out for one last turn up. While she and her besties are gettin’ twisted off that Don Julio, Rea hits her with “truth or dare” and dares her girl to have a one-night stand. Sovanna is feelin’ frisky and, since she’s never indulged in one-night stand shenanigans, she’s down for whatever. What was suppose to be a simple one-night stands between strangers unknowingly leads to forever. I absolutely LOVED this book and the fact that it was only 118 pages makes me wanna to cry. 😫😫😫 Sovanna and Zahir were a whole vibe and they matched each other’s energy perfectly. The chemistry burned hot between them and left me wanting more from these characters. I was team Zahir from the moment he swaggered his sexy azz down those steps. That man stood on business the entire book and he was not letting up off of Sovanna once their paths crossed. Heat of the Moment is just what the doctor order. If you’re in a reading slump, read this book.

This book was too quick! A one-night stand is never just that and Sovanna learns that quickly with Zahir. Their cat and mouse game was cute to read. But don't get it twisted Zahir had my good sis Sovanna weak in the knees in the best way! 🔥 Although we end with an HFN, I wish we had more time or this was a longer story. Overall good book and I enjoyed it. I hope there is a follow-up and updates on the other characters like Leerah.

Dare to be More

Sovanna and Zahir were supposed to be for a night only, but fate and their crazy chemistry have them both wanting more.

Call him Big Zahir because the BDE was rolling off him in droves. He was way too sexy with his hand tricks, boss azz demeanor, and you can have whatever you like actions. I like how he pursued her and let her know they were definitely going to be More.
It was short with just enough spice. I enjoyed these two.

I love the magnetism between these two characters & would have definitely went through with the dare. Sovanna took a chance that led to one of the best decisions. This was a quick read & by time the book ended I was scrambling for more, however I’m here for this series. Zahir is my type, a straight shooter that can back up his words. I enjoyed this one.

Okay, so I obviously knew this was short because it is a novella, but something about it just left me…wanting? It's spicy as hell and feels interesting and captivating, but it could have afforded to be less instalust so that the rapidness of the following relationship felt more…substantial. I literally have no reason to believe these people—who are essentially still strangers—are going to remain together lol. And since this series is called "Evermore" I definitely wish this wasn't the case.

Zahir and Sovanna seem like great people independently, but I wish I could have rested more belief in their relationship. I also wish they were more developed because I don't know why the parts that explored their careers felt so out of place for me. Like I almost didn't care because they don't know each other like that so I didn't see why I needed to? It also made the ending completely unexpected and exasperating because, like I said, we don't know these characters like that, so I was wondering why they were acting that way about someone they barely know.

BriAnn Danae is a funny and relatable author; I really enjoyed how she managed to squeeze some family lore and establish connections and relationships I am assuming to set up for the other books in this series, which I am hoping leads to those couples feeling more substantial and developed.

The plot was minimal but I can accept this for what it is!

What a fun start to this series! Sovanna and her friends are a whole mess. Who is out there daring their girls like that these days? Well, Sovanna said, I ain't no punk, so game on. 😂 Approaching Zahir was nerve wracking, but when they spoke those few words to each other, she knew this night would be one to remember.

Zahir couldn't believe his luck when Sovanna approached him. It didn't take long for him to be all in either, and he was going to get Sovanna with the program! His forwardness was sexy, and Sovanna was having a hard time rebuffing his advances. I enjoyed this read and can't wait to see what the rest of the series brings.

Now about Zahir Holiday and Sovanna Bennet, we loved them down! From the beginning to the end, I had such a good time reading and seeing this story development into something much more than just a one night stand that stemmed from a dare. These truly really deserved to be together.

Zahir is for sure going down as the #1 eater in the book boyfriend world because BABYY .. just call that man the Cookie Monster. 🍪

Some of my favorite parts:
- Sovanna’s relationship with her girls, especially Leerah. 🥹
- Leerah and Cree. I need more of them. 👀
- The driveway scene. ZAHIR, YOU NASTY! 🤤
- Sovanna finally speaking up to her daddy. I wasn’t expecting her daddies reaction. ❤️
- Zahir’s big ass Brady Bunch family. His daddy was hunching any and everything. But I loved how his family loved on one another regardless. 🤞🏽

Loved this little gem! One thing this author is always gonna do is create a man baby!!! I loved me some Zahir! He just had this way with words that had me swooning!! Sovanna was my girl, I was so happy she stood up to her dad! I had a time reading about Sovanna and Zahir, when they were together it was intense and I loved every bit of it!!! Now I loved me some Leerah, she was a great friend and funny as ever but I need all the juicy details about her and Cree 😏😏

This book was such a cute novella and I really enjoyed this one. Zaria and Sovanna was so cute. The fact that the relationship started with a dare was my favorite thing about this novella. I really liked this book.

Whew chile, I need to catch my breath after this one. A good Insta connection story can get my heart pounding for more. The first book in this series was a magnificent start. Finding love after a one nighter is the unreal realness here. I am not giving you guys any spoilers, you need to read without my input... It's good, though- 4.85 stars...

I loved Sovanna character though and how she was so driven in her career. Love that for her!

My only complaint is that I wish this was a full length novel but I enjoyed this novella.

This is smut

If you thought it was anything other than smut, You’re wrong. The plot is very minimal outside of setting up the MCs' interactions. The relationship started sexual and is still very sexual. While I felt like they had the potential to be a beautiful love story, this is not. The daddy, ex boyfriend, and best friend plot line fell flat. There was this big build-up just for everything to be quickly resolved or not crucial to the plot at all. I lowered my rating from a 3 to a 2 because of the last 8 pages of the book. So unnecessary, and grow up, you're 32 🙄

I feel so bad because I just didn’t connect with the characters or the storyline. Don’t get me wrong it was horrible. If anything I like parts of Zahir a lot. I don’t know.
