I received this ARC for free & I’m giving my review for free & in my own words.
Emma continues to deal with all of the aftermath of damage caused by an unknown. Connor is also facing harm because of his friendship with Emma. It is so hard to see such great people being tormented by someone who seems to want them out of town. When will Emma and Connor get a much-needed break? What mishaps will book five reveals, and will the real culprit be found and if so, what will come of him or her??? Looking forward to book five in this mystery!
I received this book for free as an ARC and my review is my own!
I gave this whole series three stars for one reason only. This should have been one book, not six. I read them all in two days, only because I didn’t start reading until late afternoon. I hate an author that breaks a good story into several books, forcing you to buy six books to get to the end of the story. This could have been one book easily. Thankfully I have KindleUnlimited and didn’t have to pay for six books. If I did have to pay, I would have missed out on a very good story, and an enjoyable read.
Emma moves forward to protect the bakery from Carl, Installing a security system. She has a meeting planned to meet with the family of the man the message in a bottle was intended for. A hurricane is predicted for the area. What damage will it bring? Connor has to go to court to fight the assault charge. Will the judge find enough evidence for a trial?
Thank you to the author for this ARC. This review is my honest opinion.
Book 4: Emma finally puts in a security system to protect her bakery. They find the grand daughter to the man the message in a bottle was written to. Now her family is coming to get it & the ladies of the town are planning a celebration. Emma & Conner wait out the hurricane together and their relationship grows stronger. Conner attends a hearing on assault charges and we are left hanging on the outcome. What will the judge decide?? Onto book 5!

Oh my Goodness these books are absolutely fascinating. I can’t even think what to say about this book except that it is so Good that I have to go so that I can read the next book and find out what happens. This series of books are that interesting. Highly Recommend these books.
I'm continuing with this book, because it's free on Kindle. I still don't like these novellas and would not pay for them. This story is okay, but there is so much repetition - the same phrases used over and over. If this were consolidated into one or two books, a lot of the extra words could be eliminated!
Emma and Connor are faced with several storms from Carl, a hurricane, and the decision from a judge. What damages will be life altering? Thank you to the author for the ARC. This review is my own opinion.
This story is better with every book. Connor is waiting for the Judge to make a decision on his case by Carl, as he and his lovely lady grow closer. This truly is entertaining to read.
Lets see what happens.. Love is definitely getting strong er but can love conquer all ..will Conner get off the hook ...will the bakery stop getting vandalized... We will see
Oh, my goodness! What a cliffhanger. What will the judge's verdict be? I can't wait to read the next book. I was given an advanced reader copy of this book, and this is my honest review.
Enjoying this 4th installment but feeling like it is more repetitive than needed. I almost felt like the author was just trying to fill pages vs enhancing the story line.
The neighborhood drama continues between Emma and Connor and Carl. Will Connor be tried for assault? Will the drama spoil the growing relationship between Connor and Emma. Read on to find out. Thank you for the ARC copy.
