Prince of Parkside Cove: Book I

Wheewww, shit! This book was full of DRAMA!!! Angela and Grace got some shit with them! I'm glad Chevy didn't grow up with Mom. She was a ruthless MF!!!

This is gonna seem strange when I say this cause this book wasn’t even like that but this book took me on an emotional rollercoaster ride. I mean my stress levels and anxiety was HIGH af. It started out with the drama and the mess and I mean it dived right in. Grace and Angela are the absolute worse and I despise them. I’m praying for them to be unalived in the worst way possible cause ain’t no way y’all could be this hateful, spiteful, vendictive and selfish. I need Khas to be counting the minutes to hell with the days, cause I need him without breath in his body.

Tati, you wrote tf out Book 1 and as crazy as this sounds I’m looking forward to book 2. S/O to you!!!

I know I said I’ve encountered some trash ssa mommas in books BUT baby these 2 are in a lane of their own. My heart hurts for Tania & Bleek, and Indigo & Bishop. When I say the cards have been stacked against them from birth. It truly sucked watching 4 people who loved and wanted to be together but couldn’t because of their phucked up families. I think the one who has it the worse was Tavaris, baby life been against this poor child since birth. Now as a man he’s dealing with mental problems that isn’t being helped because again, phucked up family.

Ma’am! Miss Mammas!!!! Why did you have to drag me through the entire array of emotions???? The biggest being shock, anger and confusion. Lol I had to sit with the Hood Guide to keep up with who was who 🤣😩! But baby was this worth it? YES!! Am I absolutely hooked? Again a resounding YES!! I’m so not prepared for the rest of the series though lol my poor emotions.
I spent the entire book screaming Bishop!!! Yall this book is absolutely amazing. I loved the way you get into the back stories of the who and how’s of the Cove. The pure emotions it’s gone pull out of you!!! Please read the triggers and be good to yourself.

Out effing standing!!!!!
I found myself in the Cove and my emotions are high! So much has happened from the prologue to cliffhanger and my flabber is way past gasted! This story is the start of Parkside Cove where we meet 2 of the most evil heauxs who became mothers and used their kids as pawns over greed , jealousy and a vendetta. Angela and Grace is a piece of work. If you read the Zoo Boys saga by Tatiana then you must definitely need to read this!
Disclaimer: be ready to take notes because so much happens in just this book alone, you gonna need them when Chevy’s book comes out!

Drama After Drama!!!
I’ll be honest wasn’t expecting the amount of drama this read offered! There was so much betrayal, too many lies and way too many secrets!!
Let get on Grace and Angela! The years and energy they put in to strongly disliking each other was beyond me! Don’t get me wrong they both were wrong in many ways and went on for generations to where now it’s effecting their kids.
To lie to your children for years telling them they are siblings (triplets) to be exact is beyond me, for them to find out as adult that was incorrect!
I really felt for Travaris! Dealing with a mental issue is a lot for anyone and to then find out your parents are not your parents is diabolical! Can’t wait to find out how things works out for him! He may have some issues but he doesn’t deserve how he is being treated, when all he wants is to be loved as well as accepted.
As for Indigo and Tania! I kind of had a feeling they were dating brother! But the issue and drama that surrounded them is wild Lol! Felt bad for Tania! She didn’t just lose the love of her life but ended up pregnant and couldn’t even share the new! As for Indigo she tried to be this strong person who didn’t want love just fun in the sheets, but ended up in a love triangle between Bishop & Khas!
Not going to even discuss Khas! Didn’t like him from jump! But may be I’ll mention him after the next read lol!
Love can have the strongest, roughest and unhinged man doing the most when their heart gets involved and that’s exactly what happens with Bishop & Bleek! They both feel in love with their mother Angela archenemy Grace and when I say everything hit the fan, I mean just that! I was no where ready for the secrets that came out regarding Bishop! Now for Bleek, I’m needing to know what’s going to happen now that he’s back after being kidnapped, released and told not to return to the Cove! Oh he was not having that because of his love for Tania.
There is so much to discuss about this read that I can keep going and going, but I’ll just add on to the next after reading the next installment!

I had to stop and read this b4 movin to book 2 of the cove, nw!! Im glad i did because its tellin the histori of the rivals in rhe the cove🤦🏾♀️ angela and grace!! They hatred for each other is ruinin they children lives and they dnt care, angela definiteli dnt care. Them two need to b removed! I dnt like either of them, usin they children as pawns in they hatred! Poe tavaris, i think tht is bishop twin angela thought avery told her tht was dead! They so busi hatin each other and tryin to keep they children frm around each other tht they not seein vari is spirallin🤦🏾♀️ i hope loni stick by his side! I realli do, he knw grace nt his momma and he lost on whts wht. Knas i cnt stand his 🐍self! He blckmailed grace into lettin him marri indigo and nw he got bishop pit of the way because he lied and nw indigo hate bishop because of the lie! 🤦🏾♀️ Readin it makin mi frustrated lol because i knw whts real and the way its goin its like the truth never cmes out on time lol, like when tania lied about who is her bd and nw bleek popped in at wrong time and nw he thinks his best friend is the dad and franco, idk if he was tellin the truth or is he 🐍kin bleek! 🤦🏾♀️ Its gettin good! I will admit it took me a while to start this series because one thing I know about Tatiana is that she will take me on a wild ride, leaving me with no edges and heart palpitations. Let's just say I'm correct, and I'm still not ok; even days later.
Tatiana has an excellent way of controlling the chaos of her characters because a lot was going on with them separately and together but I never felt confused. We get many POVs and backgrounds, some broke my heart while others had me ready to get active. I have to say, although I'm heavy on team Chevy, Bishop could get a little spot😝😏. Indigo is good for him with her free-spirited nature and his need for control. They are the “main” characters but with Tatiana‘s writing skills, no characters feel forgotten.
I am trying to keep this review broad because there is soooo much to unpack and this is just book one! The lies, deceit, treachery, manipulation😩 I'm mentally drained but I also need answers so next up is Letters to Indigo… y'all pray for me!

Initially, I thought this series was connected to the Zoo Boyz, but once I opened it I realized it was much more. I flew thru this book in a day and immediately moved into the next. My favorite character has to be Bishop and my least favorite is a tie between Angela and Grace.

Indigo has to be dumb. Like no other way to explain what i just read. Grace and Angela need t be institutionalized.
But Indigo??? first she doesn’t question what she needs to save her brother from? then she automatically thinks that Bishop killed her father bc the cops accused him of it?? She don’t love him fr and idc what anybody says. If she loved him so wouldn’t be so quick to assume the worst. She would wait talk to him see the evidence then decide. The 180 she did when she said she hated him made me both sick and made me laugh bc she’s stupid asf. Maybe it’s my petty side but i’d never speak to her again from immediately thinking I could do something that would break her heart like that, hell nah.

A mother's betrayal
Bishop being the oldest went away to escape the war that was going on between the Princes and King. It was surprising that two sister's fell in love with two brothers but because of the war they had to hide their relationship. Then there's Cos who is on this power high and wanted to take and keep Bishop down at all cost. When he didn't get rid of that gun I knew he was going to do something sneaky. I have a feeling that Travey is Bishops twin because like their mother asked Bishop when have you seen me.pregnant with any babies, can't wait to dive in I just hope all the guilty people get what's deserved.

Bleek is his brother and stepbrother Khas. Triplets- Tavares, Indigo and Tania live in ritzy Lake hills. When I say these 2 mothers are nuts and driving their children to further sanity.
Khas wants Indigo and she wants Bishop.
Franco wants Tania but she has a love for Bleek.
Tavaris is caught in the middle and especially when he is off his meds. Said is really getting ready to hit the fan and the secrets are getting ready cause a stir!!!

Foundation of lies…
This was a new to me author and I have to say that I am impressed! I do give this book 4 stars and not 5 because I would have really wish it started with the backstory of Angela and Grace and why they hate each other so much. I do know that they touched on it briefly however the fact that it affected their kids creating generationally curses,it should had been elaborated on a bit more. Also, I feel that if Grace really didn’t want her daughters involved in the Cove Princes why not school them on the family from an early age. Grace and Angela were something else I wouldn’t wish that kind of motherhood on anyone. Yeah his dad and their mother were married and Angela treated him like crap but his hate for them wasn’t validated enough. I really feel bad for Tavaris he he’s been mentally suffering and seeking out by his actions and were used by the adults that were supposed to guide him. What Bishop, Bleek, Khas, Indigo, Tania and Tavaris can relate to is their lives and childhoods were based on a foundation of lies.Also, Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Umm this has a lot of moving parts.. hell I forget who is the mom of the children but I think I got it. You the craziest thing to me is Khas I don't know why he thinks everything will stay on the up and up for him. He doing to much shady stuff by playing both sides. Angela and Grace are really something else. Those two along with Naheem is running these kids crazier!!! I really hope Vari be good because the things he is going through can definitely be worse than a few secrets!!

This book gaslit me and then made me root for the wrong people on purpose. EXCUSE ME TATIANA TIMMONS???? What was that??? here’s betrayal, tension, trauma, and forbidden sibling love . Secret identities and sketchy motives. Forbidden chemistry between people who absolutely should not be into each other and yet here I am, internally screaming. Sibling rivalry turned something else. A kidnapping plot twist that made my mouth drop.

This was a lot. I decided to read this to see the bridge between Zoo Boys moving from Cali to Toussaint, but Angela and Grace out here pulling their kids strings like they're puppets! Not one of these people have a chance of getting out without some lingering trauma. It's clear that their mothers are only out for themselves. Bleek, Bishop, Indigo, Tania, and Tractor is all need somebody praying for them. Then there's the snakes...Khas and Franco🤔 I'm continuing on because I have to know the outcome! Happy Reading Y'all!💋

Tatiana!!!! Step outside sister cause WTF!!!!! The constant webs you have weaved is making my head spin. The truth of the beef between Angela & Grace has to be more than what we know cause ain’t no way this is the outcome. Bishop & Tavaris world has been shaken so much. SOOOOO Good!
Listen! This was such a great story! It was action packed and filled with drama. I think the disgust that Grace and Angela has with each other has built wedge with them and their kids! It’s awful. Listen I was not expecting the twist that was happening! The ending was a crazy shocker and I knew Khas was gonna be on some slimy ish! Looking forward to continuing this series!

I'm glad I waited and I can read the other books in this series. This book gave me whiplash ok! But it was so darn messy but oh so good. I want the girls to be with the men they are supposed to be and I need the truth/ backstory on this beef ! I need Khas gone expeditiously!! Tatiana Timmons eats down every time absolutely loved this book. Definitely a notch up from Zoo Boyz series

Pissed TF off!!!!
So happy I read this series out of order because this drama has me on edge even though I have an idea how it ends. If I was reading this as they were being released, I would be sooo pissed off. Angela, Grace, and Khas need to be deaded!!!! Tania and Indigo need to move better and say wtf they need to say and stand on it. Ugh!!!! Im sooo pissed off at all these damn characters!!!! Except London she is innocent!

I ain’t never been this mad at a character.
I’m reading this after Zoo Boyz, so I know some of what’s to come but Baaaayyybbbbeee…!!!! Tatiana knows how to take you on a RIDE! I’m thinking a character got a nickname, whole time they talking about a completely different person. Bishop and Indigo had me upset the whole book. On to the next y’all.

Mind Blown!
When I say I had to get my notebook out to keep up with the craziness of this book. And these two women, a term used very loosely, They need to be old school beat. This type of shenanigans is beyond unhinged for women. Now on to book 2. Note I read the Zoo boys series first. Now the connection to Chevy is understood.
