I didn’t want to put it down!!!
Author Quinn Ryder has absolutely well and truly knocked me down and destroyed my heart with this latest release of WASP, the second book in her Lewd Outlaws MC series. I read CLASH in one sitting, and ideally I’d loved to have read WASP in one sitting also, but life interfered and I resented every dang minute I spent away from this book.
I also have to add that it’s not exactly a stand-a-lone either. When I picked up CLASH, I hadn’t and still haven’t read the reverse harem novella series where we initially meet our MC heroes, and I don’t feel I missed out on important plot points because where it related, I believe Ms Quinn covered them nicely. However, I firmly recommend that CLASH be read before hitting WASP because he featured quite heavily, coming across as somewhat belligerent and aloof from the MC, but was a close and loyal friend to CLASH, Gina and her son Alex. As a hero in his own book, he really shone, and became a very much larger than life over-protective, hella-possessive, uber sexy and growly hero. Seriously swoonalicious in that total bad boy damaged hero way.
We only heard about Gina’s sister through phone calls and Candace was the total opposite in personality and life experience. Where Gina was naive, only knowing pain and violence from one man, Cady knew too much too early, and resided in a world as dark as the pain she inflicted on willing punters. It was at the end of CLASH that Gina and we found out that all was not as well as she projected and they left to find her.
First kisses are my favourite when they stand out, and Holy smokes Batman, the moment Wasp and Cady’s eyes engaged, and that first intense kiss knocked them both on their backsides, I just KNEW this book was going to be hella intense. Have I already said that????? His kink warred with hers, his pain matched hers, his past versus hers, both have suffered, both broke and both prevailed. Not healed, never healed, but they both have prevailed in spite of the scars. I loved this bit from Wasp ...

The writing is brilliant and the storytelling is carefully and in my mind, well done, so do yourself a favour, check the TW’s and don’t bleat about not being warned. This is a dark MC romance remember, and The Lewd Outlaws are 1%-er’s, something that our heroine Candace had a huge issue with. The subject matter is heavy, but not overdone and both Wasp and Cady have one helluva back story each meaning they lash out in cruel ways to protect themselves. I was gutted for Wasp, especially as he at least was honest with himself and Cady giving her the care and respect he believed she deserved, even if she didn’t offer it, or want it for herself.
Does that honesty mean he fell first and hardest??? I’m not sure, but he sure as eggs owned his feelings and reactions and was one hot as all hell badarse biker who would die to protect the newest member of the Outlaw’s family, his best friend Clash’s sister-in-law. Oh, and by the way, much to his own shock and chagrin, claimed her as his...
“I’m ready to dance in the flames and make it rain fire from the heavens. You ignited an inferno that cannot be quenched, Mon Cheri, and now that I’m here, we’ll either burn to the ground together, or torch everyone who dares to stand in our way.”
Or.....
“I’ve done nothing but dream about you since the day we met, Cadence, and while my existence may repulse you, that’s where we differ, because your existence has become my only reason for breathing.”
Holll-eeeee cow! There’s nothing more romantic than a badarse biker being obsessed with the object of his affection!!!
And about this book being intense?? The timeline of WASP is condensed and SO much happened between the covers of the pages. Holy hell, that is why I’m reminding you that I reckon it’s imperative that CLASH be read first as it picks up straight from that last page and began helter skelter into the first of this one. It’s a roller coaster but Ms Quinn won’t let you down. Trust her writing process and enjoy Wasp and Cady’s story. It’s a different temperament to Clash and Gina’s and completely their own.
WASP is heart-breaking, fast-moving and amazing. I loved it. 5-Helter-Skelter-MC-Stars! 🔥☠️🖤

This is the second book in this series and it was fanfreakingtastic. This series is so good and they are dark, so take heed to the TW mentioned. Wasp and Cadence were both hurt when they were younger and they both have darkness in them. This book is really dark and took me on a ride. One that I was not ready for. Quinn is really good at writing dark and this one is dark. While this is a different couple, I highly suggest and think you should read Clash first. This book starts right where Clash ended. I was on pins and needles reading this and had to take a couple breaks. Not because it wasn’t good, but because it was so good. Quinn pulled the strings on my heart with Wasp and Cadence. It was great seeing how Wasp becomes with Cadence. Are you ready to be stung? I suggest buckling up buttercup, because this is one ride you may not be ready for. Especially if you’re expecting unicorns and rainbows, because there is none of that. If you like the dark, dive right in.

I have been waiting patiently for this one, Wasp's story. And let me tell you this, this book did not disappoint. It delivered one hell of a punch. All kinds of emotions in this. It'll take you on a roller coaster of a ride. I did not expect a lot of things to happen how they did but they were necessary and they gave a certain kind of flare to the story that just hits different. You can visualize everything that's happening in the story. I was really pleased to see how things unfolded, came together, and turned out. I liked how this found someone that was an equal for the other. Wasp and Cadence they've been through so much which I think makes them mesh well together. And their story is dark, comes with surprises, twists, secrets, truths, action, and more. I'd say this is worth the read. I thoroughly liked this one and could not put it down from beginning to end. Be prepared and expect the unexpected.

Wasp 'was his usual self until he met Cadence. Wasp has finally found someone he can look up to and call his equal. This story was full of drama and action. The characters are great and this book will keep you on the edge of your seat. Please be aware before you start reading this book of the trigger warnings. It is a very dark book, but I loved it. Can't wait for Sandman's book to come out. These Lewd Outlaws are awesome.

Wasp! Finally!! Quinn did not disappoint with Wasp and Cadence story. How two people who need to be in control and who have to find that control again kept me turning the pages. Why they need to be in control and separate from others gutted me. But, I love how they find a dynamic that works for them. I cheered with how the bad guy was dealt with! Slowly the Lewds are finding their way after the reign of Sabbath. This is a "need to read" book!

Wasp & Cadence
I don't even know where to start as my mind has been blown away by Wasp and Cadence story. The steam between these two is like a heat wave and I couldn't get enough of the sexual moments between these two. My heart broke for them with all the trauma they endured, but these two couldn't have been more perfect for one another. I can't wait to see more of them in the future and I can't wait to get my hands on Sandman's book.

Both Wasp and Candace have had their fair share of hurt and darkness throughout their lives,and i loved the way they came together to make each other whole again so beautifully,Quinn is making this series one of her best yet...i seriously cannot wait for more,and Sandman??? We're waiting for you.... Loved,loved,loved!

Y’all just a heads up… READ the TW before reading this. This is NOT a light read full of sunshine…
When Quinn tells me she has words for me I’m ready for anything she throws at me but I wasn’t really ready for this one. Wasps book picked up right where we left off in Clash’s book and boy what an exciting ride it was. I’m glad Wasps met his equal with Cadence, they are the perfect couple. 🖤🔥🐊🔥🖤

It has a dominatrix theme and that’s not something I usually enjoy. With that being said I did enjoy the overall story line. Who would have thought two dominates could find even ground and fall in love? But it happened and I do look forward to reading what’s to come.

This story is beautifully written and is full of drama and action. It is thrilling, beautiful and addictive, a page turner and will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat. This is a very dark book, but the characters will pull you in and not let you go.

A.R.C - Trigger warnings! I recommend reading Clash first. Wasp and Cadence have a lust-hate-love BDSM connection. Full of heat. I am new to Quinn Ryder, dark romance and was completely drawn in with this story.
