I loved this book! I can’t wait to read more stories from this universe.

This has become my favorite book of 2024. Although an anthology, it's really best to think of it as a collection of loosely connected tales taking place in the same wacky world. This is a world woven into quite the elaborate tapestry. Clown gunslingers, arcane cyborg private eyes, mutants, martian invaders, grey alien scammers, a Chupacabra and Sasquatch country/western duo with a side hustle as heavies/hitmen. All this in a world of magic and advanced technology. After the second story I realized the only thing that couldn't happen in this world was what I expected.

Book turned out to be better than I expected.
It consists of a handful of short stories in a tone of old scifi movies. Book is wacky, funny and entertaining. You will find aliens, android, robots and more. The writing has a lot of charm that fits the stories. I also really dig the pace, stories are eventful, plots are interesting and they deliver neat twists.
My favorite one is "The Outside of Night" story. Hopefully it will find a way to the big screen!
Definitely 5/5 from me, an amazing debut that left me impatiently waiting for next book.
