Wow!

When Scandinavians fight each other, expect no quarter and no mercy, only death and a free pass to Odin's feasting hall, Valhalla. These are fierce warriors who crave the fighting and killing of anyone they consider their enemy. Even the mighty Roman legions never attempted to invade Scandinavia and wisely so.This engaging story told of three Danish usurper brothers gathering together a rag-tag army of Irish, Scots, and other disenfranchised warriors in an attempt to invoke rebellion throughout Scandinavia. Peter Gibbons has weaved yet another page turning, edge of your seat tale of mayhem, destruction, and blood curdling battles. This was an epic tale of life and death in the Viking era, and I can recommend it most heartily!

Thank you

Since starting the series, I have felt like I was sitting by a fire and listening to a storyteller tell the legend of The Man with the Dogs Name, that happened long ago. Each book feels like you have gone back to that fire for another night and you get to hear another chapter of the saga of Hundr. My thanks to the author for this wonderful story.

Awesome!

Holy crow does Mr Gibbons write an amazing, awesome, and incredible book! He writes battle scenes that will make you begging for more. He brings so much emotion to this entire story. If this was a tv show it would blow Netflix's Vikings away. Sorry Mr Cornwell, there's a new badass here.

Dawn of the ragnarok

The best yet of an amazing series of Viking adventure. This book was so edge of the seat and tension. Wow, how I got to the end of this saga without pulling my hair out I don't know. A great story full of action from start to finish. I pray to the gods this story continues

Love the Viking Blood and Blade Sagas. Now up to date with finishing this book. We meet the characters from the last book again in a fight to save King Harald's kingdom. There are plenty of battles and the main character is again Hundr (The man with the dog's name). Fighting against an old foe and former friend Finn Ivarsson and the Danes, this is an exciting story.

Masterful as ever,Peter Gibbons weaves Hundr’s tale across another blood and blade saga. Loss of close friends and warriors, finishing yet again setting up for the sequel!

Masterpiece! Peter Gibbons 9th book in this series will leave you awestruck! Several new enemies working together to release Loki onto mankind with Ragnarok. Hundr is like a historical hero and God. The man does not die when faced with impossible odds. The book left a cliffhanger for book 10.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I on point in this book there is a death of a lead character that is masterfully written, weaving the internal turmoil of another character into the the glorious death of a true friend.

Ceaseless action and adventure!!

An amazingly fast paced adventure with extraordinary action and resolve. To lose our heroine was painful indeed, but our two heroes of the North win the day after surviving extraordinary challenges.
