cute and funny

Kids will really enjoy this one. A planet of burgers and lettuce, and buns and cheese and all the fixings! Drama ensues when the patty decides to move off the planet. Where will everyone go? Will it still be a burger planet?

I enjoyed this book because each character is interesting and unique. From Lander Lettuce and Chatty Patty to Tiptoe Tomato, Justin Mustard, Clara Cheese, Bosshead Bread, and Catcher Ketchup, they all bring something special to the story. Chatty Patty stood out as my favorite. Her portrayal felt authentic, like a real-life Black woman, and I appreciated the representation. captivating. I think Chatty Patty could have been more of a pronounced African American character to really showcase how diversity in children’s literature makes it all the more compelling. But overall, delightful and comedic read for children! 😊

This is a nice humourous story conveying a very strong message that one needs to be together to make a difference. The story is about burger planet where different people - cheese, lettuce, ketchup, mustard, bread, party etc used to live. Party felt she was the star and decided to separate out. Soon after she realised that her strength was with her team, however small the other components might seem. A very important lesson for children to learn from young age itself. Illustrations are funny and cute. Recommended.

"Burger Planet" by Shivangi Sharma is a fun, creative, and imaginative read for kids. What I loved most was the burger puns throughout the entire book, so incredibly funny! I also loved how the author craftily introduces the book's characters in the beginning. This book is not only entertaining and funny, but it teaches kids a good life lesson that working together as a team is better than working alone by yourself. Highly recommend!

Great book. Really funny and I think kids would love it. I would say it’s better for children around 7+
Burger planet is full of interesting characters and one day chatty patty announces she is leaving because she is sick of the segregation of the planet but chatty patty is the main ingredient and without her burger planet is not burger planet. So the citizens decided to change in order to keep their planet in one piece. Illustrations are cool and it’s very fun to read

This book cleverly presents the importance of teamwork--using most ingredients that make a good hamburger. The story uses different personalities to portray what it is like to work together. It also teaches you not to be self-absorbed as you work together with others. It is better suited for slightly older kids who can appreciate the writing and laugh at the food jokes.
