Marshall "Jumper" Sager is the Secretary of the Via Daemonia Motorcycle Club. Life is a daily struggle for Jumper. After a horrible explosion that killed four of his Navy SEAL teammates and brothers, Jumper suffers from a severe case of PTSD. He knows he should stay away from Jasmine Sharpe, the town’s curvy veterinarian, but she's a temptation he can't seem to resist.

Jasmine has been secretly in love with Jumper since the day they met over two years ago, but knows he'd never notice a curvy nerd like her. When dog bodies are left around town, Jasmine is determined to find the culprit and bring them to justice. She knows it's dangerous and she doesn't care.

Jumper can't lost another person he cares about. He must protect his danger magnet at all costs. A mysterious farm leads them to an illegal dog fighting ring and it'll take all of the VDMC to rescue Jumper and Jasmine...but will they make it in time?

As he was trapped in a war torn world getting home to his wife was all Navy Seal Jumper could think about, but his miraculous homecoming was not what anyone would expect and his transition to civilian life was further hindered by the emotional scars he earned. After spiraling Jumper finds solace with other retired military men and women in the Via Daemonia MC and with his support dog. As his dog’s vet Jasmine sees Jumper quite often, falling more and more in love with him each time, but his mental demons are their biggest roadblock to a relationship, that is until Jasmine finds herself in danger and Jumper realizes he’s not alone as he previously thought.
This is book four in the series , which keeps getting better and better. The author manages to blend military and MC romance seamlessly, blending the dark and light sides of both, but in a realistic way. I love the fact that Jumper and Jasmine’s relationship is a slow build, especially since Jumper seems to have severe PTSD and a rushed relationship would be not only impossible it would make the depth of their feelings seem fake. And even though Jumper has his struggles Jasmine does too, as she has to learn to navigate her feeling while validating his, making these characters seem so realistic that at times I felt as if I really knew them. Both are strong in their own ways and the fact that Jasmine is not a simpering “MC bunny” but an educated and “real” woman make me love her even more.
Be prepared with tissues as the heavy moments in this book may leave you with some tears (alright more than some), but there is also a blend of action and humor with a slow building heat that is by no means bland ( the door scene anyone?). Since this is part of a series there is some overlap with story lines from the previous books but you do not need to have read them to enjoy this one ( although I highly recommend that you do) . Those who are familiar with the others will be happy to know that many familiar faces are in this book and some interesting new ones too. I can’t wait for the next book. Be aware, there are strong emotional triggers (PTSD) that play a big part of the story ( by no means is this a brief side angle) so make sure to read the warnings but the tough subject matter makes the story so much better and the relationship between Jumper and Jasmine that much stronger. I highly, highly recommend this book. 5 stars, must read. I received an arc copy of this book from BookSirens and the publisher. All thoughts are my own.

This is my second book by Ms Gedike and I can say I will be adding her to my most favorite author page! This story digs in and tells the backstory that gets you drawn into Jumper's life like you are right there. I am glad that I read the book before because Jumper picks right up and mingled together somewhat. This book deals with lots of serious issues but does not take away from the falling in love and making a life together. Jumper deals with a lot of issues and thinks a relationship is not in the cards but he falls for the one woman who could love him thru his PTSD and past trauma. Jumper and Jasmine story will draw you in and keep you on the edge of your seat.I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Small town vet has giant crush on quiet, unassuming veteran biker with PTSD. This was a brilliant story plot, with some really great characters. They aren’t perfect, but no one really is in real life, either. The reader is swept into the story from the beginning, getting a bit of the reason Jumper is who he is, why he feels inadequate and unworthy of Jasmine’s attention in the first place. Aerial makes him feel more like a fully rounded character, drawing out a bit of the softer side that he keeps hidden from everyone.

Jasmine’s determination not to let Jumper just walk away from their relationship is poignant. It proves she’s “all in” for their future together - a future that Jumper can’t seem to envision due to his past. Where Jumper sees a blockade and no path forward, Jasmine creates an alternate approach that not only helps Jumper feel safe, but also gives them a bit more leeway to manage their relationship on their own terms.

Jumper and Jasmine are not allowed to live in a safety bubble, however, as the world around them is strangely full of criminal dogfighting rings targeting Jasmine, rogue ex club members, rival biker clubs, and puppies. This book is certainly one giant ball of emotional damage waiting to happen to someone at the right time.

Please pay attention to the author’s provided trigger warnings, and read at your own level of comfort. Some of the subjects and discussions within this book are of a disturbing level and may not be appropriate for everyone. Key points, this book contains mentions of dogfighting and the aftermath of said events. This book also contains mentions of Sexual Assault and Abuse of a Minor. As for me, this is a series that I want to know more about. I feel like I have read at least one book in the series before, but I don’t seem to have them in my library. I plan on fixing that problem soon.

Edge of My Seat!

There was so much going on this book and I loved every minute of it! This series have become one of my favourite MC Series of all times. I love seeing the relationships between all the characters, not just those of the mains. The depth of this story, brought the series to a whole new level for me. The issues tackled in this book are not easy ones and I think this author did an amazing job doing so. I can’t wait to read more from this Biker Club!!

Mental health of soldiers & first responders is not talked about enough, especially those who suffer with PTSD, Elise captured this hero’s suffering in such a way I was crying just pages in. Jumper will always hold a very special place in my heart with family that has experienced war induced PTSD. Jazz is the perfect match for our wounded hero, and loves his pup just as much. I LOVED this book for this series & I can not wait to see what else she can come up with 🩵

Jumper

This really was a great read. The author took time to research their material. It has a great message with how service members deal with PTSD and what effects it has on spouses and family members. Jumper and Jazz navigate what it’s like to have these issues and how to overcome them.

All in all this kept me on my toes and invested in Jumper and Jasmine’s story. Some parts seemed to be a bit lacking, especially the end. I feel like more closure was needed but instead it left off on more than 1 cliffhanger.

This book was back on par with being what I love about the series. I was so happy to read Jumper’s story.

Jumper’s story showed the realities of PTSD and I appreciate that. I’d really rate this a 4.5 rather than just 4, I just wasn’t onboard with the FMC at all times. I just didn’t like the way she would deal with some of Jumper’s fears.

A new big bad is introduced in this book, and I have a feeling it’s all going to be interconnected with the former big bads.

But also… Justice for Scar… I’m still salty about how he’s being treated and the judgement.

I would give this book more stars, if I could. This tale was fantastic because it was built around real struggles that so many face every day. I think Jumper made some really stupid moves that could have cost his life, and there were a couple of times I wanted to smack his brother for letting Jumper get into trouble. There was plenty of excitement, fear, resolution, and love. An amazing story. Some really heartbreaking moments, but followed by truly uplifting and inspiring ones, too. Wonderful.

Jasmine has loved Jumper for a while. Jumper won't act on his attraction due to his fear of harming her, when his PTSD kicks off. When dogs are being abused and she takes action Jumper has to get involved.

This is a good read and highlights PTSD, and covers dog fighting, as well as the dangers of trying to stop the fights.

This book is an emotional maze full of abuse, dog fights, captivity, emotional trauma, angst and family. This author has taken an MC environment to show that family is not only DNA but it is the people who care and share with you and put you first. I could not put this book down as I grew to love the characters and storyline. Jumper and Jasmine had alot of trauma before and during the start of their relationship. Jumper actually hurt my heart his story of a strong military man who with his PTSD and earlier trauma did not feel he had any worth to himself or Jasmine. This couple was perfect together because of their imperfections. This author handled many difficult situations with tact and care. This is the first book I have read by this author but I promise it will not be the last.

Triggers!
These stories just keep getting better and better.
Jumper is a Vet with intense PTSD who is attracted to the local vet but he doesn't think he is good enough for her.
The way this author tackles the issues round PTSD is very well done. This is not an easy subject to write about and the sensitivity this is done with is very well done.

💓💖💓 Jumper and Jasmine 💓💖💓 Jumper had problems and he felt they kept him from being with Jasmine…. Jasmine didn't care, she just wanted to get to know Jumper. Elise Gedicke is a fairly new author to me but she writes outstanding books! I love this series and each one is unique… definitely put this author, book and series on your TBR!

I am so happy to have run across this author. I truly enjoy reading each and every MC story she releases. For this release, it focuses on Jumper, who has severe PTSD after a harrowing experience during his service. And Jasmine, who is a tender hearted Vet that is just what the Doctor ordered for Jumper!!! Together they face a dog fighting ring, two dangerous brothers, and another 1% MC. It is quite a lot of action! As an aside, I will note that every woman needs a friend like Sophia!!! I hope she gets a story of her own! Love the sass!! Already looking forward to the next story!!

Jumper and jasmine are so sweet together. Bothe hada crush on each other without having the courage to act on it and when they do , how they navigated their relationship was done in a compassionate way. I just loved this story from start to finish and you could tell the author has really researched all the things she wrote about .

This was an excellent read and one I would read again. I like it revolves around military veteran bikers and they fight for good not evil doings. They are very protective of their kids, wives and brothers in arms. It brings to light about PTSD and trauma they suffered from active duty. It also brings to light about dog fighting. I loved how protective Ariel, Jumpers service dog is. Everyone will enjoy this book. HEA for Jumper and Jasmine, can't wait for next book. I am really enjoying this series! While this is a complete stand alone, reading the books in order is an extra layer of happiness. This storyline included two main characters that were both strong and vulnerable in unique ways. It was such a great read made better by the believable characters and interesting plot twists.

This was one book that I had trouble putting down. It held my attention from the very start.
The characters were all strong people with truth and right on their side.
A motorcycle club that was only there for good even if bad got in their way.

This series keeps getting better. Jumper’s PTSD was handled very well - it was sensitive and honest, yet not looking for sympathy. Elise does not shy away from the tough topics - she dives right in and leads the reader through the intense feelings to arrive out the other side. Even with the hard topics, the story of Jumper and Jasmine leaves you feeling good overall.

Of course there is Aerial as the always good character - Jumper’s service dog.

Awesome book!
