Ennaris used to be whole once. A beautiful land full of magic and magical creatures, a place where dreams come true.
Then a siren was betrayed by her sisters.
A siren ate the heart of a man she loved--and ruined the entire continent.
Every Enchanted in the world knows the story of how Syra was put under by a spell made of one hundred and one layers, for the last five centuries. Every Enchanted knows how much the Seven Isles suffered because of it.
And now, every Enchanted knows that Syra is awake again, and the end is inevitable.
The stars say it. The people believe it. And I do, too--except the siren is keeping Grey hostage, and I have no choice but to go after her. I have no choice but to try, even knowing that certain death awaits me.
And I do. With the help of Mama Si and Reeva Lorein, I make it all the way to the Eighth Isle. Against all odds, I find Grey, and we almost—almostmake it out alive.
But Syra catches us, and then everything is as good as over...
***This book contains very explicit romantic scenes.
This is a thick book, and I'm really surprised too since I thought the villain would have killed everyone before the end of the first chapter. However, Hoxa writes some pretty complex characters. Sarya and Valentine both have a villain thing going on but my feelings about them vary from scene to scene. Well, my feelings about Val do, as for Sarya she's just batshit crazy and evil but she was pushed off of that ledge. When the truth about the past came out my heart couldn't help but brake for her.
My two favorite characters are Fall and Grey. She started off weak and now she's stronger and more determined than ever. She's not waiting on someone else she does the rescuing herself. And who can resist Grey Evernight, the man gets more tempting with every book. I called him, he's mine.
This was one helluva plot. The whole situation was a dumpster fire from the start. I was anxious the entire time, waiting for the next bad thing to happen. But to make up for that there was beautiful (and scary AF) magic, along with so many twists and turns it was hard to keep them straight. There was more than one plot twist that took me by total surprise. It was great!
What a spectacular read! The Eighth Isle is the third and final book in the Fall of the Seven Isles series and it was everything! I was completely blown away. I'm going to miss this fantastical world but I couldn't have asked for a better ending.
First I want to thank the author because I received an ARC. I’ve devoured this entire series in like three days!! I couldn’t put any of the books down. It amazed me at how much was still left to be discovered. Also the fact that Fall and Grey kept getting separated…actually was making me mad. I just wanted them to be together. I feel like this final installment revealed everyone’s true sides and gave some closer. I wouldn’t mind a novella with more!!
What a conclusion to a great series! Honestly so glad I stumbled upon this series. I enjoyed all of it.
Biggest thing I want to make a point on: FINALLY, a romantasy series that isn’t afraid of a pregnancy trope! I know a lot of readers hate it but I start to really hate reading all these stories where the FMC always has the mentality of “I never want children” or “I want to wait and wait and wait to maybe have kids someday”. I liked how the pregnancy in this was a surprise but that Fall was more just coming to terms with that surprise vs hating that she was pregnant. She was happy but just needed time to get used to it, which honestly was how I was when I found out I was pregnant! It was relatable. And just seeing how happy Grey was, made me happy cry 🥲
I did feel like the ending was a liiiitle rushed and resolved in kind of a blink of an eye but still enjoyed the book. Also, the book ended and I for sure thought we’d at least get an epilogue or something where she’s actually had the baby. Was disappointed in that.
The spice scenes in this book were 🥵🥵🥵 perfect!!!
I did kind of guess the meaning of the prophecy from the very beginning honestly, but was still very entertained by the story and the characters. I honestly kind of wish that the other 3 Evernight brothers were going to play some role in the final battle. Didn’t necessarily want any redemption arc for them, but they literally kind of disappeared from the story this book.
Overall, this series surprised me, in a good way! Again, I kind had stumbled across it and was a slow start for me in the first book but couldn’t put the rest of the series down!

Rcvd an advanced reader copy from the author for giving a review voluntarily. We let off with Syra being awakened by Valentine and her sister Sedelis and Syra thinking Grey was her lost love Hansil. Nope not happening. Syra used her magic to destroy her sister and create a castle on the eight Isle. Syra is determined to keep Grey with her the rule. Fall is determined to save Grey again. With thr help of Mama Si and Reeva, they concoct a plan to get Syra off the island so Fall can go in. What they didn't count on was Valentine....always Valentine in the middle of things to screw it up. Syra is irate and takes her anger out in Fall and Grey...however, it doesn't work bc she can't hurt the family of Hansil. Syra reveals that Fall is pregnant and decides to keep her there until the baby is born...um..what! Fall is beyond furious at Valentine being Syras puppet and deceiving them. There is more going on then meets the eye. Things are not what they seem and Fall seems to be the center of it. They needs to defeat Syra...but how? Can Fall and Grey overthrow Syra or will it be the end for them? Drama, deceit, OMG and WTH moments makes this a riveting read.
The third book of the Fall of The Seven Isles Series was exactly everything I hoped for. I thought I knew what would happen or that I had a really good idea of how it would end… it’s safe to say the actual ending blew it out of the water for me. First of all… Valentine.. why are you so lovable but at the same time so frustrating that I can hardly stand it? How??? I’m also living for Mama Si’s redemption in this book. But, to be honest, I think Shadow is my favorite character. And of course Grey & Fall and the spice.. I love it. I love everything about this series and have recommended it to all my friends. D.N. Hoxa has this refreshing way of writing these amazing series and throws great plot twists at you. This series has been so different from the other types of books I’ve been reading and it’s been a great change of pace and exactly what I needed. Give this series a try, you won’t be disappointed!
The Eighth Isle wraps up this trilogy but not before it brings readers along on one fiercely entertaining journey. Grey and Fall reunited at the end of the second book are TORN apart once again because of the evil siren Sedelis’ hatred of her sister Syra who she has now awakened from a 500 year sleep. They battle and Sedelis is the loser as is Fall when Syra thinks Grey is her long dead lover Hansil Knight. The race is on for Fall to find and rescue Grey with aid from friend and foe. You can feel the energy flowing through these pages as the power of riveting writing, and imaginative world building continues to mesmerize. Expertly defined characters have made following the magic of Ennaris and it’s Isles remarkably good reading which delivers a surprising and pleasing HEA.

The Eighth Isle by D.N. Hoxa is a mesmerizing journey through a magical realm teeming with breathtaking creatures and intricate lore. The narrative unfolds with a captivating twist: a siren betrayed by her own sisters. Hoxa excels at crafting complex characters, with Sarya and Valentine both embodying intriguing villainous traits. My feelings towards Valentine fluctuated with each scene, while Sarya's madness and malevolence, though extreme, evoke a deep sense of sympathy once her backstory is revealed.
The plot is rich and multifaceted, written in a way that kept me on the edge of my seat, eagerly anticipating each twist and turn. Hoxa's descriptive writing style enhances the immersive experience, making the book a gripping read from start to finish. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and the vibrant world Hoxa has created.
Fall & Grey: A love story, an adventure, & a beautiful new world
Dori Hoxa is a premier writer of fantastical stories that are filled with a wide range of emotions, exquisitely crafted characters, and extraordinary moments. I am sad that this is the end because I’ve fallen in love with this series! Fall is such a beautiful soul: she loves with every molecule in her body, she fights for who she loves, and ‘quit’ never occurs to her. Grey is her soulmate and he feels the same connection to her, the same passion, and the same joy when they’re together. The magic of their relationship is truly remarkable and awe inspiring! I hope Valentine and Shadow get a story of their own!

The third book in the Fall of the Seven Isles series. Continuing the story of vampires, witches, sirens, dragons, forced marriage, betrayal, and secrets. I absolutely adore this series and this book did not disappoint. It kept me on my toes hoping for a happy ending for Fall and Grey, with still slightly mixed feelings about Valentine. The story only got more complicated from the last one and I was here for it. This series is such a hidden gem and for people who love morally grey characters and dark fantasy. I wouldn’t change a single thing about the book, 5 out of 5 stars.
-Vampires -Dragons -Sirens -Witches -Enemies To Lovers
The Eighth Isle (Book 3 of Fall of the Seven Isles) by DN Hexa is a fairy tale fantasy novel. This a thick book but so good and I read it fast. The description of the world they live in is so beautiful. I can imagine it in my head. The plot has evolved through three books. The characters are elaborate and well thought out. Grey and Fall are finally together and rejuvenating. But a terrible evil, well maybe a tortured soul has risen. Now they have to figure out how to save the Isles. Then Grey is captured and now Fall has to save him. This was just a great book. I recommend reading the series and I can not wait for more of it!
This series has been a wild and crazy ride where I kept flipping on who was the bad guy. And in this final book a lot is revealed to show who the real bad guys are. And of course there is not just one but a bunch. I liked, felt bad, wondered at the crazy and rooted for Gray and Fall for the who time I read the last book. Just a wild and fun ending to the series that kept me guessing to the end to see how it would end. Just a great job writing this one and had me laughing and shaking my head to the end. Loved it.
Hoax’s third installment in this series doesn’t disappoint. It’s rare that I love all the characters in a series. Typically one or two characters are strong and the rest are meh. But the supporting crew are so unique and bring so much to the story it’s hard to find anything not to love including Mama Si. Hoxa has created a complex world so full of depth and complication it makes my head spin. Not once did I find myself skimming to get through scenes. Captivated until the end.

This was the perfect ending to the series. You have to love the characters, including the villains… OK, maybe not all the villains.
You want to root for Valentine, even though he frustrates you most of the time because what side he falls on is always unknown. Even Mama Si has some redeeming qualities. But I think my favorite sidekick is Shadow. He’s such a cute little thing except for what he did to storm.
Lots of twists in this book. The author sure knows how to keep you on your toes. The whole series was amazing and I’m kind of sad to see it end.
This has been one hell of a ride, one that has had me hooked from the get go and it does not let up in the final book! The author does an incredible job of drawing us back into this amazing world as we once again follow Fall on her final leg of her journey. She has been an incredible character, her growth has been amazing and she fights for what she believes in and that is definitely her soulmate Grey. Beautiful and descriptive world building, this is an exciting and thrilling read as everything is bought together and we get an ending worthy of this series!
This final installment of this outstanding and original series was riveting for me! Fall is fierce and believes in what is truly right! She is relentless in her search for her mate Grey. She does find him and so much takes place in this story, that shows us what a loving, believing in what is right, and determined person Fall truly is! Grey is perfect for her. No Spoilers from me! I Loved It!!! I received an ARC and I am Leaving this Totally Honest Review because I Choose to and think that this is an Amazing Ending, to a Great Series!!!
The last book of another excellent series by D.N. Hoxa, I could not put it down. It concluded every thing that occurred in the first two books perfectly. I had thought it was going to end rather quickly until I saw I wasn't even halfway through and realized more was going to occur. Lots of squeal moments between Fall and Grey <3 absolutely loved this book!!! If you're looking for an interesting, fantasy trilogy with lots of spicy scenes, this trilogy is for you.
This is the third and final book in the Fall of the Seven Isles series and it begins where the last book ended. Fall and Grey’s story was amazing and complex. The story had so many plot twists you didn’t know what was going to happen. Valentine’s character was a surprise. I didn’t know if I should love him or dislike him. He was great. The story was full of action, magic and spice. This book and the series are definitely a must read. I thoroughly enjoyed reading all of them.
I unfortunately had a harder time staying interested in parts of this book, especially the beginning and middle. Despite my difficulty, I did finally finish it after a week or so (which is an extremely long time for me). I think I grew uninterested in the female lead not understanding anything, but she miraculously manages to overcome beings that lived in the world for hundreds of years 🙄 yeah…irritated me just a tad 🤷🏻♀️
I received this series as an ARC copy and I’m so glad the author released them as fast as she did because she always leaves you on a cliff hanger! This was a great way to end a great series. Grey and Valentine Evernight will forever have a piece of my heart. So many morally grey characters that truly throw you for so many loops and twists. Highly recommend this book and the whole series!!
Wow, I had no idea a little teaser from instagram would get me so into this series to the point that I was so sad to reach the last page. I love the FMC who makes her own decision and knows what she wants.
What an amazing book! Another great series by @author_d.n.hoxa
Another prophecy "Fall of the Seven Isles" ... Now that Syra is awaken, everyone is on edge to see if she's going to finish what she started 500 years ago. But Fall won't let her have Grey!
Fall finds away back to the Eighth Isle with the help of Mama Si and Reeva but will Valentine double cross her again? Can Fall save the Seven Isles?
DN writes another swoon worthy MMC 🩶
Do not sleep on this series!! Absolutely loved it!! @author_d.n.hoxa is one of my favorite authors !
Valentine!! The vampire that I love to hate and hate to love! Why is it just when I think I'm done with this guy he makes me do a 180 and love him again?!
Fall and Grey do not have it easy, there is always something in the way of their love and this time it's more powerful than ever! Hooked from the first page right through to the last!

This is a fantastic series! I loved all three books. All of the characters were so well defined I felt like I knew them. The story is exceptional the following of a young woman and the tragedies that happen to her .The love she finds and the evil she helps fight.I cryed,I laughed I even got mad .I recommend this book to any one who loves paranormal romance
I almost dnf’d this series about halfway through book 2. I stuck with it and I kind of want my time back. Seriously, I get that the timeline is less than a year and there isn’t a lot of time for character growth but I expected some… especially the fmc. Well, I take that back. She did go from annoyingly naive and “poor me” to annoyingly egocentric and entitled. TBH, this fmc is absolutely TSTL.
This romantasy series will def be added to my physical collection! I loved seeing the character growth of the FMC and her jelly legs😆 I also love an amazing underdog story that has a beautiful end to show how much of a mistake it was to underestimate them in the first place!! Fall, girl you did that🥰and you gained a family as well❤️
I've read the whole series a d these kept captivated the whole way through. From the paradise to the woods everything was so well.written. The heroine is strong but also weak at the same time and watching her grow was a delight. I will.now be reading more of this author and no doubt believe the rest of the books will be just as good
This series just gets better and better. I’m completely hooked on this series and didn’t want it to end. The characters will have you glued to your kindle. Everyone should definitely one click this series.
I voluntarily reviewed this book in exchange for an honest review
