Well, this book has lived up to its title and has left me speechless! It was an enjoyable novel that many women can relate to, filled with drama, romance, angst, friendships, and overall growth!
The reason for four stars, simply comes to a few obvious spelling errors which disrupted story flow (desert/dessert) (com/come.) Also, the story at times got to be monotonous and I found myself getting annoyed with the MC for falling into the same emotional pitfalls over and over.
This debut felt deeply personal and explores themes of love, heartbreak, and self-worth. Some lines really resonated with me: “I dreaded making the wrong mistake, choosing the wrong path, and losing everything. Failure haunted me," and "Pursue your passion/purpose! Don't let anyone stop you from doing what you are meant to do."
You can feel the heart behind the story, and I admire anyone willing and courageous enough to share that with the world.
