**SPOILERS**

Growing up, Truce has always wondered who his dad was or if he had other siblings. To his surprise, he finds out that he not only has a brother but, he’s one of identical triplets. Simone’s triflin’ azz sold Justice and Loyal and left Truce for her parents to raise. So, not only is Truce reunited with his twin brothers but, he also finds out who his birth dad is. But, wait! There’s more. Just as the brothers are getting acquainted with one another and their dad, who happens to be the biggest drug dealer in Diamond Cove, Simone opens the closet door and lets another skeleton come tumblin’ out. Wise may or may not be their daddy. You see, Simone was layin’ low and spreadin’ wide for the Jacob brothers so, Wise or Chicago can be the daddy. Lawd, queue the cameraman from the Maury Povich show. I’m not gon’ hold y’all with a long review. Just get ready to clutch your pearls because, the paternity results were resulting. Treacherous Twins was a ghetto soap opera full of secrets, lies, and drama. The Jacob Triplets, Big Daddy Wise, and the “you are the daddy” plot twist are sure to keep you entertained.

Justice made the comment that his life was like a hood movie and sir, I'm with you when you're right! There wasn't a dull moment in this book - something was always happening.

If you read Carried Away, then you know that Truce is to be reunited with his brothers - Justice and Loyal. Justice was funny, reckless, and he talked so much shit. Loyal was more laid back and was always trying to be the voice of reason. The men turn out to be triplets but Natisha threw some messiness in it. I can't wait to see how things turn out for these brothers, their women, Simone, and Wise can go to hell.

Lauren and Justice were a perfect match tbh. As soon as she agreed to his "plan", that sealed the deal for me because uh uh get somebody else to do it.

Those Triplets are EVERYTHING!

I read this book entirely too fast, but I just couldn't put it down.
I'm so happy this follow up story with the Treacherous Twins came so soon after Carried Away and picked up right where we left off.
This story was told so well and I really feel like I got to know all three of the men. I can't figure out who my favorite is, but I honestly think it's going to end up being Loyal. I like how each character is multifaceted because I really did not want to like Wise at all but he's not all bad.
I can't wait for what's to come.

Wild Boys

3.5 This was so wild. Not the wildest I’ve read but wild nonetheless. The author has a tendency to start off slow and with filler before she gets in a grove but once she does and it seems to be around the 20% mark she stays in the pocket! I really didn’t see it for Justice at the beginning but I was giggling over that man by the end. I definitely want to see what Simone has to say for herself, and Wise could take a long walk off a short cliff. I like that Raynor’s stories are unexpected and entertaining so I’ll be getting into more of her work.

That damn Simone and her secrets… Chile it’s so many pieces to this puzzle I’m half way confused at who belongs where and to who… definitely keeping my attention from beginning to end. Justice and Lauren have worked a good nerve of mine but I kinda like them together and i can’t wait to see their relationship evolve. waiting for brother Loyal up next

The Family is Growing

Well damn there was a lot going on. Truce is getting to know his brothers after discovering that he is a triplet 😳 Chillle Simone done held these secrets for decades and the more they unfold the more I was over her. This was meant to be Justice's story, despite all the bs happening. Justice is the idgaf brother, but he had a good heart at his core. He was a heaux and seemed to be in his be fruitful and multiply era and I wanted him to sit tf down but here we are lol. I still liked his little rough neck azz.

He met Lauren under some wild circumstances and they trauma bonded, but seemed to have each other's back. I loved how protective he was over her and how she supported him through his mess. Their story wasn't fully fleshed out, so I look forward to seeing how their story pans out.

Wise was clearly a bipolar piece of sh.., because wtf sir. You have a whole fiance and you need to obsessively control a young girl? The way he moved was hella foul.

Lastly, it seemed like at times the shifts of topics were harsh and could have flowed better. Also this was definitely a cliff hanger. These books are not stand alones, the resolutions are continued into the next book at least for the first two books.

Whew — surprises after surprises! 😩

Justice is definitely the wild card. He’s funny when his guard is down, but he’s also a little unhinged — and that makes him unpredictable in the best (and sometimes worst) ways.

Lauren… my poor Lauren. She’s in a world of trouble, and I just wanted her to catch a break.

Niles? I don’t even know what to make of him. Is he really her dad? Because these paternity secrets are taking me out! 😂

And Simone… girl, Simone! 🤦🏽‍♀️

Now Wise — I really don’t like him. Not sure how I’ll feel when I get to his book, but right now? Yeah, no.

And then there’s Chicago — uncledaddy?! The family drama in this story is WILD.

I love that Justice isn’t backing down or coming up off Lauren. His plan is insane… but it works! My girl is alive, and I’m relieved because I was holding my breath the whole time.

Heading into book 3 next — and honestly, I think Loyal might be my favorite brother. 🥰

This book was actually one of my favorite books read last month (June) I’m a little late on the review but nvm that…

This book was NOTHING like i expected it to be and I have to say that in a good way… Baby Natisha ain’t come to play with us with this one… I was leaning up in my seat and rolling all over the bed reading this here…

Wise is a piece of 💩 like the man is really weird asf and I’m tryna understand where he coming from but ion get him at all. Y’all gon have to read it so we can discuss him because yeah ion think Wise is gonna let baby girl off the hook like that idc what he say…

The triplets mom is a 🕳️ like a big one baby was sleeping with BOTH brothers and and she let both of them skeet in her? Chile *inserts faint gif* babygirl was living a wild life at 15.

Lauren was dealt a crazy hand and I’m really happy that she found Justice im just hoping that they can both live a peaceful (whatever peaceful is considered for them) life because they’ve both been thru quite a lot. I really don’t wanna spoil the story so once yall read it report back

Eh..

This book didn't do it for me like the first one. I didn't really care for Justice..and his kids situation was not cute to me at all. Good writing, book just felt rushed and with alot of "filler" convos.

Family Secrets & a lot of Drama!!

This story revolves around a set of fine @ss triplet brothers by the name of Justice, Loyal, and Truce. They were seperated at birth and they had recently discovered their connection. The brothers eventually reunited by way of their biological father Wise. Justice waas heavy into the streets with robbing and selling illegal drugs and he saw himself not wanting to part from the fast money too soon. Justice mind was about to change as he came in contact with Lauren. Lauren and Justice develops a complicated relationship because she was trying to get away from Wise’s influence. Truce works for himself with his construction business and with Wise’s financial backing while he was navigating his realtionship with Shalaine, who was a woman with two children and she had an abusive ex-husband.

Loyal, Justice, and Truce’s story was full of drama, tears, DNA tests, family secrets that would break the coldest thug, death, miscarriages, and birth announcements. This book was a wild ride that left me somewhat speechless and in awe at the same time.

JUSTICE & LAUREN ❤️

This is just the beginning of this series, and it has so many plots, twists, and turns that will have you shocked and in disbelief at the things that have happened. Justice is just going to do things his way no matter what, and there is no changing his mind. I love his friendship with Lauren. They are definitely a match, especially since they share similar traumas during their childhood. I really hope that Justice, Loyal, and Truce get the real story from Simone about the dynamic she has put them in.

Drama for your mama. This book was full of it lol. I really wish Shalaine would’ve told her son why she and Cliff were getting a divorce. Like it’s not cool for your dad to hit me that’s why it wouldn’t work out. But hey 🤷🏽‍♀️

The triplets DNA test threw me for a LOOP!!!!

Still a good book lots of typos though and if I have to read “he kissed his teeth” or he sucked his teeth one more time 🤯 like it’s on every other page of the book. I started to just skip over it every time I see it.

You'll learn why the title indicates twins but they are triplets. And that's just one of the bananas turn of events. It doesn't end in a cliffhanger but there are questions left to be answered. I'm off to start on Loyal's book.

A crazy ride…

This was a wild ride. I definitely didn’t expect all of this coming after Truce’s book. They about to have all these newborn babies and neither of them really know how to be parents lol. Time to jump into Loyal’s story.

unresolved but looking forward to the next

****SPOILER****

I enjoyed this more than first even though I don’t think Cliff deserved a quiet departure. I hope there’s a resolution into how Wise preyed on Lauren in the next book.

Loyal and Justice had a hard life growing up as twins and orphans after their adopted mom died. So when Wise located Justice and Loyal to tell them he was their father but they were not only twins but triplets it was mind blowing. Justice had an issue with authority anyway but it didn’t help him falling for Lauren. Lauren was one of his father’s workers that was indebted to for life due to catching her stealing at 16 from someone who worked for him. Lauren wanted to be free so bad she cut all contact with Wise however; that made beef between him and Justice. I’m glad everything ended up working out. But Wise is still crazy AF for keeping that girl working when she was grown. I was glad everything got settled and worked out.

Very little Justice for Lauren

Admittedly I went right from this book to book 3 without leaving a review first, but now that I am done with the series I am back with my thoughts. So this book answered all the questions I had and some I didn't even think of. Simone was SOMEthing else at a very young age and that resulted in Loyal, Truce and Justice. This book details the heartbreaking saga of young people thrown into the system and how they have to fend for themselves when the system fails them. Thankfully, Loyal was his brother's keeper and him and Justice made the best life they could together. Lauren's life was a different type of heartbreak and Wise, regardless of how all was seemingly forgiven by the end of the series, is still a predator and needs to burn in hell. The trauma bonding that Justice and Lauren did was kind cringe to me especially knowing her background with Wise. And the decision they made as a means to an end was also very cringe. Justice was irresponsible and clearly thought with the wrong head, and their relationship was kinda toxic to me. So overall this storyline was my least favorite out of the series.

I'm Ready for Loyal!

This is a good series. I literally had tears when the brothers went the family cookout. When Cliff showed up, the way the stood with Truce. Justice is mine out of the brothers. I don't care how many kids he got.😂 I would like to know why Wise won't leave Lauren alone. Justice isn't playing about her.

Funny how they give wise a pass but put all the blame on Simone. She was younger than him and those and none of the babies could be adopted or whatever without his perm unless he gave his rights away. As far as I’m concerned both parents were young so his precious grandfather has culpability in this and so does wise.

How could people not have know about the twins and wise all this time if they were in the streets Like that and look so much like wise?

I’m annoyed by how much Simone gets dogged and everyone else gets a pass. She was the 15 y/o.

So Lauren just not gonna get a DNA test to confirm paternity???

My pet peeve this book is everyone dogging the 15 year old but not the 17 y/o on the parents. “She old enough to fuc# then she can be a momma.” Well she didn’t fuc# herself. Yet no o e insisting that Wise should’ve stepped up. He should’ve known their were three babies. And how were there legal adoptions if he didn’t sign his rights away. Plus everyone good that the twins moms didn’t take all 3 but when the foster parent took 1 it was all you take one you take both or none at all..But that’s the last time I’ll bring it up. I’ll try not to role my eyes as the cast dogs Simone only and not wise predatory ass.

Justice was deadass wrong for that comment.

Oh he a rapist too. But bc he spoil his daughters and give his sons drug money and drugs at a discount, he’s such a wonderful man. FOH

I’m rooting for Lauren

Justice knows his dad is trifling and I respect him standing up for Lauren but suggesting she becomes BM#3 is wild af.

Not him comparing someone having triplets to a man having 3 kid under 2 by 3 different women. Barf.

What make Justice thinks Wise will care about her being his BM. He seems like psycho who will focus on his she “disrespected” over anything else

Not to be a Cliff supporter bc I’m not, but Shalaine is upset with cliff “what if truce had more work on him than he did” instead of being upset with truce for still selling weed when he no longer needed to.

Ok Justice, Simone’s a hoe but you’re not. Mmkay.

“You and Justice keep more babies on your hips than a baby mama.” Loyal cracked me up with that line.

I love that the bond is growing between the brothers and even Lauren is gaining a connection with them and family. The only thing that left salty is Simone is considered all kinds of hoes but the men aren’t being held to the same standards as her. I hope there is somehow redemption for her in Loyal’s book.

Natisha… you’ve got me HOOKED! Think Jerry Springer but make it black🤣🤣🤣I am here for the messy. This series is addictive. I can’t hold out until December for the next book to hit audio I’ve got to read it now. I’ll definitely spin the block when it does get to audio though! If you can’t tell I highly recommend this series 😊📚🔥

The drama just keeps getting juicier and juicier! I love a good ghetto tale. But I am really finding this author very repetitive. How many more times in how many different ways is he going to keep telling the same background knowledge. And what is going on with the spice? It is very straight to the point and barely there! I’m going to finish the series because I’m nosy, but I probably won’t read this author again.
