Pooh needs more honey, so he follows some bees hoping they will lead him to a pool of it. But they head to Rabbit's garden and land on the flowers there. Rabbit lectures Pooh about how bees make honey from nectar in the flowers. Pooh then has a dream about being a bee himself, and even though I usually hate dream sequences, Pooh is just adorable with bee stripes as he sucks nectar through a straw! So cute!
(My Pooh Project: I love Winnie the Pooh, and so does my wife. Having a daughter gave us a chance to indoctrinate her into the cult by buying and reading her every Pooh book we came across. How many is that? I’m going to count them this year by reading and reviewing one every day and seeing which month I finally run out. Track my progress here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/list... )
This book and also some more of the series, teach people things, but also put it into fun story’s! I would definitely rate this book a 5/5 and I think it is very educational to Kid’s and parents. If you are thinking about reading it, anytime is a good time, like before bed perhaps you could read “Sweet Dreams (#9) or you could read the others.
This is a "sweet story" about pooh and a lesson about honey bees. It explains where honey comes from (more than just bees) and Pooh has a silly dream where he becomes a bee. Fun for the kids, and they learn something too!
