After being taken from the Winter Solstice ball at the castle, I find myself trapped in a cell with no magic and entirely at the mercy of Victor- my uncle who thinks I'm his ticket to the throne.

I just want to disclose I’m friends with Mikaela, but it’s going to seem like I’m not based off this review 🤣
First off, how dare you? You already know all my thoughts because I was DMing you my reactions but wtf?!!!!! Why did you hurt us so bad with this book!!
I did love the character developments and trials they were put through, but this book is hard to get through— the emotional damage is real. With that behind said, I practically read this book in a day and it’s over 400 pages? I may be losing it.
Mikaela’s books have pulled me out of a deep reading slump so pick them up! Just brace yourself for all of book 2 😅😅
I will be reading book 3– but you best make me happy by the end again— PLEASE!!!! 🙏
