S Courtney is new to the published writing community but has been a lifelong writer and began creatively writing in junior high.

She is the author of the paranormal romance, the Bound Series, which includes Bound to You, Bound by Destiny, and Unapologetically Nessa which are available on paperback and kindle.

She is also the author of her contemporary romance, the Black Aces MC, a motorcycle club romance and the Sandman, a dark, slow burn paranormal romance.

I enjoyed book one Wrecked and jumped straight into this book. Make sure you start at the beginning as the characters are intertwined. With plenty of action these alpha bad boy bikers with big hearts will protect those they love and those who need it no matter the cost.
A lot goes on and the stories follow the Merciless Few MC, its ride or die with second chances, club drama, steamy scenes, some violence, a lot of danger, redemption, overflowing emotions and plenty of heat.
Hooked is a fast-paced raw drama filled story and you are in for a wild ride. It hits you in all the feels so have tissues nearby.
Jett/Fiend is emotionally scarred, a broken man, broken spirit, ejected, and hiding secrets. Can he dig his way out of the blackhole he has imposed upon himself with the love of a good woman and surrounded by his brothers from the club? You will need to read it to find out his story.
I really recommend this for those that like MC romance.

I liked a lot about this story. The title is perfect once I got Into the story I got what it meant. The storyline is sad and yet inspiring it shows a bit about how life with an addict can be. I was really disappointed in him with every pill and rooted for him when he got clean. I really liked his brothers and sisters. Plus he has an adorable nickname for Poppy.

My big issue is the timeline. Basically in reference to Fiend and his family. It seems like he was underage when he left home then add three years. The twins seemed older when he saw them. I just struggled with the ages since he was only gone three years. The characters were portrayed older.

Overall I did enjoy this and I sped through it as it is tragic. I do look forward to the other brothers getting their women too.

Hooked: The Merciless Few is the second book in The Merciless Few Series and is a MC Romance that will have you turning the pages till the end. I highly recommend reading the first book in this series if you haven’t already as it gives you a better understanding of what has been going on and meet characters which overlap to the next story. This is a fairly new author to me but I like where this series is going so far My emotions were all over the place with this story and at one point I had tears running down my face. My heart broke for Fiend aka Jett. This is Jett and Poppy’s story. Fiend holds many secrets and has many struggles which started at a young age. One day you mean everything to your family and then a total disappointment. Fiend leaves his family behind to start a new life with his MC family. He now is in a downward spiral can she help save him before it’s to late? Poppy wants to be his everything but can she get him to see that? I don’t want to give to much away. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I’m looking forward to reading more from this Author and this series.

This is the second book in the series but can be read as a stand alone. Each book follows a different character, so you might see names that you recognize throughout the series in each one. This book is extremely well written. It captures your attention right off the bat and continues to entertain you throughout the book. There is the broken leading male that feels he is undeserving of things in his life. The love of a good woman and his biker friends might be enough to pull him out of the self imposed exile that he has been in. This book has everything y0u would expect from a motorcycle club romance book. There is the danger, drama, steam, love, friendship, violence, and redemption. Giving all the things in the book, you will be on an emotional roller coaster. I laughed, cried, got angry, screamed, and swooned while reading this book. The emotions that it was able to pull out me has made me want to read everything this author has published because this book was just that good. I just can't wait for the next read. You won't be disappointed in this book and I highly recommend reading the other book in the series.

This is the second book in The Merciless Few series. After reading the first book I couldn't wait to drive into this one and get to know another member of the MC. This is a MC romance with angst, danger, chemistry and a messed up leading male that you can't help but fall in love with.
One thing i would recommend is a box of tissues as this story will definitely cause you to become emotional as you read about Jett/Fiend's past, what lead him to become a member of the MC and the struggle he has every day with his demons.
My heart broke for him as he sees himself as worthless and not good enough to be part of anyones life.
When he starts to keep a big secret from his brother's this leads him down a path of addiction which only makes everything seem worse.
Can the love of a women be the saving grace that Fiend needs to turn his life around or will he push her away and continue on his downward spiral into chaos.

I would recommend reading the first book in the series as the characters do overlap, however each story focuses on a different male lead.

Hooked: The Merciless Few (The Merciless Few Series) by S Courtney. I am loving this MC Romance series. I highly recommend reading them in order to get a better understanding of the characters and storyline. This is Fiend aka Jett's story and he's a hard headed, hard hearted or wants us to believe he is and he's made a lot of mistakes but will he be able to get over his own past to have a brighter future? Fiend knows he's gone down a bad road with a lot of bad decisions and he also feels like he's not worthy of being loved. When he meets Poppy who comes banging on the MC's door for help he feels like she might be worth letting down some of those walls but first he has to protect her from her crazy brother. Poppy has always had a thing for the bad boys but she the more she gets to know Fiend the more she knows he's not a bad guy. She didn't want to drag him into her crazy family mess but she already has and now she may lose him forever. Will Fiend be able to keep Poppy safe and keep his heart safe? Read this fast paced MC romance to find out!

Oh my gosh ! Just looking at Fiend in the cover I just want to hug him and tell him it’s all going to work out 🙈🤗 I know these biker boys have a reputation but they have good hearts , soft hearts , sone just hide it well ….

Fiend ( Jett) had a tough childhood and he ran from home because he didn’t want to be like his dad , fortunately for him , Lucifer , MC of the Merciless Few and his “ old lady “ came across him and took him under their wing , not ideal for mist but I love me a biker family 😉 he worked hard to earn his patch but yet he always feels like the black sheep , the outcast 😢🤷‍♀️

Good grief Jett and poppy had me in an emotional mess ! I was in a state and I very nearly stopped reading but I I also couldn’t do that because I had to see them get the HEA they deserve and I had to finish their story I mean I can’t just walk away !?

I think I overlooked the danger and suspense because of a broken heart but will I do it all again ? Oh hell yes ! I’ll put myself through it all again for my Jett , Poppy and their people 🥰

What a gut wrenching story...Hooked is part of The Merciless Few series and I was excited to read Fiend's story. While this book could be read as a stand-alone, I really highly recommend reading
Wrecked first, as you meet the characters and also this book intertwines the story-line from Wrecked. I love getting to know the characters and I can say Fiend, aka Jett...his story is just raw. The roller-coaster of emotional toll that this story took me on is like no other with drama, secrets, and turmoil. Fiend struggles came on early in life from being his family's everything to feeling like a total disappointment. One fateful decision takes him on a downward spiral personally while trying to put up a front with his MC Family along with the woman who wants to be his all....Poppy. Will Fiend be able to overcome his personal out of control spiral....definitely read and find out.

This is a great book and I am really hoping to see more from The Merciless Few crew!!

I was extremely excited to pick this book up as it is the second in The Merciless Few series. I absolutely loved the first book, but this one is somehow even better! I sat down to read a couple of chapters in my afternoon and ended up devouring the entire thing in a matter of hours. You could probably read this one as a standalone without much of an issue, but you will be missing some important details so I highly recommend reading them in order. We get to know Fiend/Jett in this book and when I tell you that you will need some tissues on hand, I’m serious! This emotional rollercoaster twisted and turned into heartache and danger. The range of emotions covered the whole spectrum as I cried, laughed, and possibly yelled at some things that occurred. If you are looking for a steamy, challenging MC romance to get lost in for the day, this should be the book you pick up. I can’t wait to see what else this author has in store for the series because I cannot get enough!

Hooked: The Merciless Few

Reading this one was a much different experience than reading the first one for me. I had no clue about Fiend's history, the most recent history may have caught me more off guard than his teenage years.

Jett who we all know as Fiend has so many problems and it seemed to me that most if not all of the problems came from his relationship with his dad. As someone who has had a complicated relationship with a parent I know how hard it is to let go and try not to let it affect every day life, it's basically impossible.

He has several setbacks and stumbles but he works on improving himself all the way around.

I loved that the book had some crossover in the timeline but instead of Reaper's perspective see how everything unfolds through Fiend's eye.

I enjoyed this book and really liking the series overall. Not sure which one is going to fall but I'm expecting it to be in spectacular fashion.

Hooked is the second book in The Merciless Few series by S. Courtney. It is a heart-wrenching and emotional MC romance with plenty of angst, challenges, drama, chemistry, spice, intriguing characters, MC brotherhood, connection, hope, and the healing power of love.
After reading the first book, Wrecked, I was curious to see where this second book would lead us – and let’s just say you will probably need a box of tissues beside you while reading this story. Ms. Courtney certainly toyed with my emotions with this one.
I also highly recommend reading the first book before starting on this one, as there are interconnected details, recurring characters, and other pertinent details contained there which will help you to more fully appreciate this story.
Looking forward to more of The Merciless Few!

This is the second book I read in this series which I enjoyed just as much as the first. I enjoy this author’s ability to pull me into the character’s lives with ease and keep me engaged to the end. This is a well written story about Flend. He has made a lot of mistakes and doesn’t feel that he deserves to be loved. Will he figure out that he is worthy of love and her? I enjoyed his character and what he brought to the story. He is one of my favorites for sure. He has been through alot in which the author did a great job of making me feel for him with their attention to details. The growth of this story is great throughout which makes it easy and entertaining to read. I found this book to be fast paced, hard to put down a story that you don’t want to miss. I look forward to reading more from this series in the future. I highly recommend this book.

This is the second book of the series. This is Fiend’s (Jett) story. Fiend was a troubled teen when he ran away from home because he didn’t want to follow in his father’s footsteps. He met Lucifer (the Leader of Merciless Few MC) and his ol’ lady Sam, they took him in and he worked hard to become part of the brotherhood. Fiend is like a lot of the brotherhood when it comes to having an ol’ lady (they don’t want to settle down). You also meet Poppy, she is a bunny but she wants to be an ol’ lady. This a sad story of Jett’s childhood and his actual family. You will learn things from Jett’s and Poppy’s past that will have you in tears. There were moments where I didn’t want to continue reading because my heart hurt so much for both of them. This is one of those books that you will connect with no matter what, keep reading so that you can find peace yourself.

I started Hooked, thought I would read a few pages, then put it up for the night. That was not at all how that played out. Once I started Hooked I couldn’t put it down. I ended up staying up until 1:30am to finish. This wasn’t your average romanticized motorcycle club romance. At first I thought there was going to be no plot and I kind of wondered to myself if it was going to be worth reading. It was nitty, gritty, spicy, full of action, but did end with a happy ending which made it so much better after that wild ride. I don’t have triggers, but I can see where some of the subject material could be triggering to some, and it’s definitely not for anyone under the ages of 18 at least because of that. It was well worth the read.

This is story two of the Merciless Few MC. This story follows Fiend and Poppy. Fiend believes he is the black sheep of his family as well as his MC family. He takes all his emotions and buries them until he can't. Poppy is one of the MC bunnies that has had feelings for Fiend since she met him. Poppy takes her feeling for Fiend a little too far and Fiend does not take the attention well. But then again, Poppy knows him a little too well now and knows a heavy secret he has been hiding from his MC family. Add in some issues with his personal demons, family, his club, makes for one wild ride with some heartbreak along the way.

This was a good four star read. I was pulled right in with the action and rollercoaster of emotions. Jett has some pretty deep scars. Will Poppy be the one that will finally bring him happiness? I don’t want to say too much and give anything away for this story.
Overall I really enjoyed this, we get danger, steamy moments and so much more. All of the characters added a great element to the story. If you are looking for a good MC series this is the one for you. I look forward to reading more from this author. 1-click and get started today.

This book is the second book in the series and is just as good as the first book. For me, Fiend was such a raw character to read about. His story was intense and emotional. He has gone through so much you can’t help but yearn for him to get happy ending.
The story is so well written. It pulls you in with ease and matches the characters perfectly. I would definitely recommend reading the first book before this one, to really get the full and exciting experience. This is a great story and is shaping up to be a brilliant series.

What an emotional rollercoaster of a story. When Jett finds himself in a bit of trouble and nowhere to turn - he ends up heading out of town to find himself joining a motorcycle gang. Where he once felt like he had nowhere to turn to, he finds a "new" family and a brotherhood within the group. Sam, the "mom" of the group and Lucifer, the "dad" of the group help Jett navigate through many struggles he has not been quite honest about. Call it intuition, or call it a gut feeling, Sam helps Jett realize how much a mother always loves her children.

I just love MC based romance books. This is the first book from this author I am reading and I must say that I was hooked literally. I am a big bad boys alpha based romance book reader and this really filled that. I love how the author is able to bring the characters to life. I really felt like I was in the heat of the drama. There is a good balance of romance and drama. I love how each character has been developed. I was definitely on the edge of my seat waiting to see how it would all unfold. I look forward to reading more from this author.

This MC romance kept me hooked throughout. The series focuses on the members of The Merciless Few MC and this is Fiend’s story. Fiend has a difficult past including suffering with a major injury. He knows he’s made lots of mistakes and doesn’t think he deserves happiness or love. This is a fast paced, page turner with plenty of drama, suspense, angst and MC romance. The storyline took me on an emotional rollercoaster and the descriptive narrative brought the world of the MC vividly to life.

This book was just as good as Wrecked. I found myself diving right in. The writing is done to be very engaging. You are captured by the characters. I noted that the ones from Wrecked are intertwined in this one so the books are better read in order. The emotion of the story is felt as you are reading. As Fiend goes through his struggle, you can feel it. This is a powerful story.

It’s very easy to read and I love how the author provides a backstory on the main character which makes it easier for the reader to show empathy towards the characters in the story.
