I'm quite surprised that this children book left no details untold with regard to the unfortunate demise of the hero. I'm also amused on how the rowdy plebeian image stuck in the public opinion when classic children books like this one had already provided accurate information about the Supremo's white-collared career and intellectual interests.
After reading this book, I was enlightened by the Philippine history. It's really a big help. What more if I read major books about Andres Bonifacio. It was written so well that you could understand so easily.
