What did I just read? It’s horrendous! I was so excited to read this book I actually reinstated my kindle unlimited so I could binge the series. I regret it! I regret it deeply!

It started out fine a mild enemies to lovers where the FMC has spirit, doesn’t take any guff, and is confident only for everything to be thrown out the window and it to end before any kind of resolution or explanation was made.

*SPOILERS*

What she was biologically tampered with? What she angry mated with an orc? What that relationship hasn’t been resolved AT ALL and they still pretty much hate each other? What she finds out she pregnant AND THEN THE BOOK ENDS!

WHAT THE HECK! I wanted her to slowly get to know them to not be forced to be with them just because the stupid toads did an illegal unwanted experiment! I wanted her to bond with each orc and slowly love them and be loved by them. NOT have a poor excuse of hormones take control and then end the story! There is absolutely no love between them at all! If I could give 0 starts I would

No rating because DNF at 50%. I read a lot of self published books. I don’t expect perfection. This one needed a lot of polishing though.

I Was NOT Ready 🥴🤪

This will be my first Orc-themed romance, and I was NOT ready!!! This is not a slow burn but a 🌶 slow-to-fire plot—my goodness. I think I got pregnant reading this. If you want a just right bite-size of otherworldly passion, GET THIS BOOK.

( 💥 Yeah, I've seen those who this book WAS NOT FOR based on feedback essay they took time to write. To each his own. I say, read it and find out if it messes up your tight ponytail or not.)

Green lovers oh

This was a fun read a bit short for the complex storyline. A beautiful Scientist helps with a mission after her life on Earth was non existent. She encounters four Orc siblings has a different banter with each but towards the end of the mission shes headed to leave and everything changes. This was a new to me author and im honestly intrigued to read more recommend to anyone interested in Alien romance.

I loved it, Quick and Dirty. I love a good Alien romance and loved seeing myself being represented.

Crazy scenario, but hey, it's a Space Romance/Erotica book.

The toadys are sneaky, and I will read the rest of the series to see what they get up to. 🤣🤣

Definitely recommend for anyone who likes Orcs, Aliens ,WhyChoose, Novella/Quick reads.

For what it was, it was a decent read. It wasn’t meant to be thought provoking or extremely deep. It was a fun, short, and spicy read. If you are expecting an epic love story, this isn’t the one for you. If you want something that won’t take too long to read and is a little different from the norm, give it a try.

Science vs. Love vs. Attraction

Let me say first that I LOVE THE REPRESENTATION OF US...BLACK WOMEN!!!!!

There is angst, humor, opposition, power, and most of all, unity. It's definitely worth the read.

S/N: I am feeling the Toadies...lol

Look I can already tell I'm committed and going to read them all. But this stuff is wild. Do people want to breach a cervix? Is that a thing? I mean, clearly it's a thing as its a big deal here.

What is this absolute steaming pile of manure? I have read some dreadful books, but this one takes the cake. Badly written, flat characters, a presumption you know the back story…. I could go on, but I didn’t finish it.

Space & Spice

This was my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it. The spice is spicing so do not try to read in public! I learned the hard way! Science. Space. Spice. Black women out here saving the galaxy! We are the blueprint! 5 stars! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a no for me

I would usually stick to a series even if I dont particularly like the books, but this is one series I'm giving up on. I will say the premise is a good one but implementation is not.

I enjoyed this book, it moved very fast. I felt it ended to quickly for me. I know this is a series and I will read the other books. I hope they continue with Nina and her Orcs.

Interesting

So I’ve read plenty of orc stories. Never space orcs. I love the why choose. It’s an interesting premise and I’m looking forward to the next installment.

Listen, I'm an orc girlie all the way. Definitely my top 5 monsters when it comes to monster romance, and books like Space Orcs and the Director by new-to-me author Solar Black remind me why I love these hulking, green, tusked monsters even more.

AND since this is a why choose/reverse harem romance, we have four orcs with different personalities to satisfy almost any reader—oh, and the heroine. 😏

In this first book of  The Last of the Orcqlaneasions  series, we're following the story of medical director, Dr. Nina as she closes up a space med port—in my mind it was like a space medical clinic—that she's run efficiently for the past few years. That also means soon she'll leave the annoying company of the four orc bodyguards protecting the med port. And she almost makes it, but then fate conspires to have her trapped with the orcs when she undergoes some scientific heat that basically compels her to mate with the very monsters that aggravate her or die in route to Earth.

Sounds like a steamy set-up, doesn't it?

I certainly thought so, and it only was better because the push-pull between Nina and her reluctant orc mates is just absolutely top-tier shelf steamy goodness. There's some tender lovemaking but also a whole lot of hate-effing. Really, the readers are getting a bit of everything. So, yeah, admit it, you want to pick Space Orcs and the Director up now, don't you? 😉
