Not good. I do not recommend it. It was somehow both too short and painfully repetitive. The only redeeming quality was that Wilson had something to say and he said it clearly. The problem was he repeated himself over and over. He said Augustus was responsible for the "Pax Romana" at least a dozen times. He praised Augustus for his diplomacy and strategic alliances probably half a dozen times within a couple chapters. He needed to make this half as long and cut out all the repetition or make it twice as long but elaborate on his points instead of just restating them. The only reason I read it was because it was free on Audible.
