Zionist Relations With Nazi Germany, exclusively sourced from Jewish historians, covers the anti-Semitism of Zionism from Theodor Herzl, its founder, onwards. Zionist logic has always been that anti-Semitism, coming from Tsar or other reactionary, wishing the expulsion of the Jews from Europe was perfectly rational and justified, and that Jews needed to invert the logic by turning their aims towards settling a new homeland, namely Palestine. Later, the 1933 Ha’avara Agreements between Zionists and Nazis allowed Jews to emigrate and settle in Palestine, financed through the Anglo-Palestinian bank. The agreements solidified this old logic, and in part as a result, Zionism took the rise of Nazism as a whole to be a perfectly reasonable phenomenon, and to be the end of old Jewish assimilationism. The Zionists then took this claim to its logical conclusion by collaborating with the Nazis, as traitors to the Jews of Europe, by suppressing their uprisings in the ghettoes and in the case of men like Dr. Rudolf Kastner, even agreeing to put Jews in extermination camps. Through this, they believed, they could, with their elite, pick the “best of the race” of the “chosen people” to settle Palestine, while the rest they considered mere “dry branches.” This racist, anti-Jewish background is the historical basis of Zionism, and as today it attempts to subject another people to extermination, it is not merely helpful to recall how illiterate the claim that anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism is; what is more helpful is to recall how Zionism itself is anti-Semitism.

zionism, with its goal of creating a settler colonial state in palestine, is in fact a form of antisemitism. zionists have never cared abt the safety of all jews, only abt creating this sick joke of a country (and making money).

reading this book (available here) is an absolutely insane experience. learning that zionists collaborated with nazis, only to later cover it up with convoluted trials & assassinations, is not exactly surprising, given everything we see "israel" doing nowadays, but it is stomach-turning.

Fred Moten once referred to israel and zionism as "artifacts of anti-Semitism", much in the same way you might characterize Liberia as an artifact of racist displacement. I thought that was really powerful, and has frequently come to mind when I think about the decidedly dissimilationist ideology of zionism. But when you read a book like "Zionist Relations With Nazi Germany," something more profound and evil emerges. The collaboration between key Zionist leaders and Nazi generals during the Judeocide is something I was not aware of - and you can imagine why israel has gone to great lengths to silence those who dared bring these serious charges to light.

Demonstrates the extent of Zionist collaboration with the Nazi Reich. How Zionist leaders were happy to send Jews to the gas chambers and sabotage rescue efforts that did not contribute to the colonisation of Palestine. Really chilling. Would leave to read an expanded version.

fascinating, sickening, and an absolute must read. none of what i read was unexpected, per se, but the sheer breadth of it, the sheer willingness to sacrifice anyone who was in their way in the pursuit of their project, was scarcely believable at times. so much of the modern colonial state rests on collaboration with nazis that it's a wonder they've managed to position themselves as the arbiter of antisemitism. the section on the kastner libel trial, followed by eichmann's trial in jerusalem, in particular, reads almost like a conspiracy theory.

This does a great job of laying out historical evidence of direct Zionist collaboration with Nazi Germany. It also does this pulling from exclusively Jewish sources, which is a clever counter to those who claim that it is antisemitic to be anti-Zionist. There is so much I didn’t know before reading this

Don't you like it when your views on a topic suddely shift upon reading a book? I've always known that zionism was a curse upon not only the palestinians but the entire region(if not other regions as well),which also happens to be entrenched in racism and settler colonialsim,but i too was fed some zionist talking points like "zionism is a product of antisemitism" or "zionism was meant to save jews". I do believe that this book,along with on zionist literature by ghassan kanafani, has done an amazing job debunking these claims. Now i know that zionists and nazis were actually good friends who believed a race could be "purer" and "more superior" than another where the less superior race deserves to be obliterated(for zionists,that too included the jews who rejected zionism and weren't young enough to support a "state" in palestine)-it's not a slogan when people say zionism is nazism.(judaism is a religion and isn't an ethnicity-zionism created a "people" out of a religious group)
If there's a certain group of people who believed to their core that there is a difference between zionists and jews, it was the zionists in the 1930s and 40s ,who only deemed hebrew jews who accepted zionism as superior.
"antizionism is antisemitism," they say-it's now only more laughable to think people STILL use this to silence people!

I am going to personally send this book to every person I know. I knew some of this but never to this extent, I have never been so shocked by an essay before. This puts in place so well and pieces together so many concepts that have been in my head for months. Wow.

All the evidence that Zionism first and foremost is a political ideology that put its economical benefits and agenda (forming the state of Israel by colonising Palestine) ahead of any humanitarian considerations (saving Jewish lives).

Israel is founded on morally corrupt principles and all succeeding events confirm exactly that!

Main issues I have is the polemic writing suggests pure intention in Zionist actions pre WWII and the holocaust, whereas this analysis clearly has the benefit of the clarity of hindsight. How are we to judge the behaviour of the Jewish “leaders” that at the time were clearly themselves facing the constant threat of death? Yes, they only were interested in saving the Jews they considered worthy of saving for their Zionist project but after all they were similarly facing “guns to their heads”. So I don’t think we can get on our moral high-horses and wholeheartedly judge THEM for not minimising the atrocities of the holocaust.

Yes, the argument that Zionism is elitist, survival-of-the-fittest, capitalist, driven by principles of colonisation and in ways even anti-semitic stands true but BLAMING Jews for the severity of the holocaust, no! Definitely not in singularity.

Very interesting premise that I was hoping would be a more detailed exploration rather than something increasingly drawn into full narrative. Utilizes "recently uncovered documents" and witness testimony, with the latter being bolstered by a segment on how the Holocaust was first revealed to the international community outside of Nazi controlled Europe via witness testimony. This testimony is legitimate because *that* testimony was legitimate, etc. I will have to look into the references for this one. It's fully "too good to be true" for me. The type of story you "want to hear" if you are in the anti-Zionist camp, making it easier to forgo any shortcomings or stretches in logic. I cannot agree with the conclusions this book draws until I am given stronger evidence towards the claims being made. It's a compelling narrative for sure, and maybe its sources are genuine - but I think it speaks against the quality of the book itself that I find its claims dubious. I think it would have a stronger case if it did not rely so strongly on tactics meant to manipulate the reader, akin to conspiracy gunk. Hard to talk about as Zionism's impact on human life, namely Palestinian, Lebanese, and Jewish (and any overlap thereof) has been so devastatingly destructive. It's stuff like this that bring the well researched and presented evidence against Zionism into question. To see several positive reviews that have been uploaded recently and who have clearly gotten it from the same source as myself heaping praises onto this book for its "revealing truths" feels disappointing. We need better media literacy in order to properly combat the harmful ideologies of this world, and I am not seeing it here.

such an interesting book, there are so many passages in here that left me completely stunned. this is a really long quote but I felt like it was important to include in its entirety because it touches on the complete betrayal of Zionists towards the majority of Jews during the Holocaust. this, along with many other parts of the book, are an extremely relevant message to anyone who is silent about and complacent in genocide today

Silent while thousands on thousands, reaching now to 6 million Jews, were murdered. And silent now while tens of thousands are still being murdered and waiting to be murdered? Reading this book made me realize how poorly we are taught about the holocaust in American schools. We are basically taught only two events, that Hitler comes to power and the horrors of Auschwitz. I knew nothing of how the process unfolded, of making Jews essentially illegal and then ghettoizing them.

So I was even more horrified to realized how the international Zionist project refused to do anything to fight against this. In fact they accepted the premise that European Jews did not belong in Europe and were determined to use European anti-semitism to force Jews to immigrate to Palestine.

Each section was more shocking than the last. Seeing how the initial deal they struck with the devil to use Jewish funds to buy German goods (breaking the Jewish Boycott) in exchange for shipping the Jewish owners to Palestine devolve into Zionists leaders in the ghettos picking who will live and who will die when the Nazi’s gave them a quota, to then advocating for two Nazi war criminals to get off Scott free in order to cover up their collaborations, it blew me away. I sometimes had to take a breath every time a chapter ended to process what I read.

At every turn the Zionists put the colonization of Palestine above anything else, often actively sabotaging the collective efforts of other European Jews to fight for their freedom.

i knew bits and pieces of this history, but all of it together and with the information presented is devastating. this history needs to be intimately known. it is not an exaggeration at all to say that zionism is nazism.

Confused book, misrepresents historical events, obvious propaganda, but also sheds light on a subject considered taboo that has probably been researched more accurately since then.
