Good book. Daring, with insight. Recommended for those who would like to know more about disciplinarity, interdisciplinarity, transdisciplinarity and the possibility of attaining sustainable knowledge.

I loved this book. It took me about 18 months to finish it, as I read along very slowly, thinking and writing marginalia the entire time. He, like me, is a member of the tribe unwilling to succumb to the status quo. I appreciate Frodeman's challenges to the academy that we should rethink the how and why of our silos, and find ways to move into interdisciplinary and sustainable epistemologies.
