The beast is coming. Keri travels across the Dilos sea to the continent of Orox in search of Fenrir – the third beast prophesied to bring the end of the world. Meanwhile, the locals of the impoverished village of Lerwick struggle to prepare for the upcoming winter, unsuspecting of the grave horror looming in the mountains beside them. Will Keri slay the last Ancient, preventing the hour of reckoning? Or will the final guardian of the world fall, and the howling of the beast spell doom to the entire human race?
Writing means everything to me. It is my past, present, and future. Creating new worlds and characters gives meaning and color to my life. Seeing them overcome the darkest perils puts a smile on my face, and seeing their sorrow and pain brings tears to my eyes. By making my works public, I hope to convey these emotions and the sense of wonder to everyone who comes by my tiny imprint in this boundless universe. So, if you are willing, join me on this journey through the lands between. Through underground depths and murky streets. Through dark woods and endless oceans. Where brave heroes arise and anguished spirits perish. Where through the struggle, even the most unremarkable beings can challenge the will of the mad gods. Join me on the journey through the meandering pathways of my mind.
This was another great entry in the series. Don't get attached to any character though. This isn't a Disney movie. Not everyone makes it out alive. The cosmic horror keeps coming and getting worse. I can't wait to see how it all ends. There were quite a few editing errors in this version and way too many uses of dozen or dozens of yards, to the point it took me out of the story. But other than that it was a great read!
Eldritch Beasts: The Howling Mountain # 4 in the series is another great read. Fast paced and and great storyline continuing Keri's quest to rid the world of the Demonic forces that are changing people into monsters and using everything in their power to kill Keri and her friends. Will she succeed and return everything back to how it was? I guess that the next instalment will reveal all. Once again Primary Hollow has kept me enthralled. Read in two sittings, it's that good! 10/10
