This was a very cool book! Past lives, betrayal, and a really cool curse. I enjoyed reading this book greatly! I enjoyed when Reg had dreams about her past lives and how she knew who the person she was dreaming about was. I found this to be immensely entertaining and just fantastic!

Reg's dreams lead her to an adventure that she definitely did not expect. Such a great addition to this magical series. I love her connection with the other characters in this book. Especially her connection with Ember the dragon. Looking forward to whatever comes next.

Past lives, present danger and future peril!
Reg Rawlins, a member of the Black Sands paranormal community, is one of the town’s true psychics and she has a special talent for getting into all kinds of supernatural trouble. While I shall offer no spoilers to ruin your fun with this incredible story, I will say that this adventure finds Reg embroiled in intrigue as she tries to identify the dangerous enemy from her past that threatens her present and her future. I found myself flipping pages at a frenzied pace to find out what would happen next and who posed such a dire sempiternal threat to Reg. I have come to expect solid plots, plentiful twists, abundant suspense and colorful characters who tease your imagination and steal your heart but this latest addition to the series exceeded all my expectations. Simply put, it was an absolute delight to read. P.D. Workman is a gifted and prolific author whose works include extremely imaginative and highly entertaining fiction spanning multiple genres from cozies to medical mysteries. Truthfully, I have yet to find a single story from this author that left me disappointed or underwhelmed. As for X Marks the Past, I unhesitatingly offer my highest recommendation to all who enjoy paranormal cozy mysteries.

If you're looking for a wonderful mysterious cozy read, look no further. This is a wonderfully written story. Our main character, Reg, is a psychic who has been recently troubled by mysterious dreams. These dreams seem to be from the past, but are they from her past? Why are they relevant? This story follows the mystery of these dreams, and how they play out in Reg's life.
I received this book from the author as part of their ARC team, and these opinions are my own.
I highly recommend "X Marks the Past". I absolutely loved the concept of this book, and it was executed so well.

A beautifully written story. Loved it from the beginning. Reg and October seem to have a connection from the first time they met. Unfortunately there’s something happening that’s strange.
