Very engaging story-telling! As always, there are new mythical creatures and stories to explore. How in the heck does the author keep finding them? And my favorite characters were back in this book. I've told Joseph Browning that I have to ration myself reading his books because they're the chocolate truffle bon-bon of books and I just want to scarf up all of them. (FYI...I also noticed that this one had fewer typos than previous books, but those don't matter to me because they're actually kind of charming.)
A very exciting read, as are all of the Salt Mine books! The characters are well thought out, and very easy to get attached to, and I love the twists and turns of the plots. Can't wait for the next one!!!
