Let there be light The Baroque period in painting and sculpture, stretching from the late 16th century to the early 18th century and occurring between the Mannerist and Rococo movements, was marked by richness, drama, and grandeur. Está muy bien en cantidad de información pero creo que se excede en la informacion sobre los pintores holandeses y deja en segundo plano a Velázquez.

Se detienen en obras de 33 artistas y todos son hombres. La historiografía del arte ha recuperado a muchas artistas mujeres del barroco que incluso fueron valoradas en su época, este tipo de libros de arte que llegan a un público no especializado debería incluirlas, pues es necesario cambiar el discurso de que sólo hombres han sido grandes artistas en la historia del arte.
