That just wasn’t in my plans. Becoming head hockey coach of the Sunnyvale Hawks was always my end game, and I knew better than anyone else that a distraction would ultimately deter my plans.
However, one look at Sawyer and I knew my life would be forever altered.
Her beauty, brains, and boisterous attitude drew me in like a moth to a flame. I couldn’t get enough of her. Forced to work together, neither of us could fight our attraction. We agreed to keep our relationship simple; no labels or commitments. Everything was going great until one drunken night in Vegas flipped our worlds upside down.
Now, falling in love isn’t my biggest obstacle to achieving my dreams...
Sawyer
My career is my life.
Over the years, I had worked tirelessly to put myself through college and then landed a job at a wonderful sports media and PR firm. I was surrounded by sexy hockey players, but I never expected a coach to be the man who would capture my heart.
Topher and I had agreed to keep things simple between us. Watching him coach and mentor young hockey players turned me on and made me respect him, but he was always off-limits.
However, things quickly escalated between us and now, I’m faced with the most difficult decision of my life.
Will adding one extra person to our life ruin everything we’ve built? I want Topher to have everything he wants and deserves.
But what about what I deserve?
Can I have the best of both worlds or just a Puck Daddy?

A longtime escapist into books, M.A. Lee began writing cozy mysteries and romances when other sources of that gold ran out. The gold nuggets of Mary Stewart, Georgette Heyer, Andre Norton, Phyllis A. Whitney, and Elizabeth Peters inspired her to write her own nuggets, even if they're only pyrite.
Look for the Into Death series, set after World War I, and the other books in the Hearts in Hazard series.
Favorite Books of all Time: Mary Stewart's My Brother Michael. Mary Stewart's This Rough Magic. Georgette Heyer's Venetia. Ellis Peters' The Virgin in Ice. Andre Norton's Year of the Unicorn
Authors that I will recommend beyond the influences and the favorites: Dorothy L. Sayers. Tony Hillerman. Tamara Leigh. Patricia Briggs. Lindsay Buroker. Linnea Sinclair. W.R. Gingell. Agatha Christie. C.J. Cherryh.
This is book 4 in the Puck Me series. This is by far the best one. I really liked the series but this book had it all, a great story, looks of spice and love how conflicted they are about moving from friends to lovers. This was another one I would have loved to see more of especially as a family! They had chemistry from the start and I loved how they worked through everything by the end.
I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. I have been waiting for this one. Topher Lewis, the big brother to all the hockey players we know and love, has met his match. If you having been reading this series, you know and love all of these characters. They are back as we find out if the last of the crew will find his forever love. Topher is set to take over the coaching position if Coach Carl retires. He is ready. His boys, Tipp, Jace and Logan, are all ready to tackle the NHL after this year with their girls by their side.
Sawyer works for Jodie marketing and promoting the Sunnyvale Hawks. The girls, Sadie, Skye and Ashlynn, have forced her into their group, and want to see her with someone. Who is the problem. Sawyer might like Topher but she knows not to cross that line. They work together and could lose the friendship they have if things got messy. Topher, on the other hand, is head over heels for Sawyer. What can he do to make her take the plunge?
I really enjoyed this story. It is a bit different journey than the other characters as both Sawyer and Topher are a little older and more mature. All decorum went out the window one drunken night in Vegas. What happens in Vegas, does not stay in Vegas this time. Sawyer and Topher walk away with something that could possibly tie them together forever. I really loved this book. Topher was everything I thought he would be. He was so patient with Sawyer and her insecurities. I never want to leave Sunnyvale University. I will rock with this series as long as it goes.
Sawyer, working for the Hawks collegiate hockey team in public relations, is in Las Vegas for the championship game;which they won. She recently broke with her former boyfriend,Todd after he said that she didn't have time for him.She is with 3 of the players' girlfriends who say that they need to find her a new boyfriend. Topher, the assistant coach; Sawyer says 'no' since they work together. Sawyer's career is all important to her. Tripp, one player, declares that he and his fiance, Sadie, are getting married Vegas style. Topher has had a thing for Sawyer since the day he met her, but has never told her.The group does shots until none are feeling no pain before heading for the wedding chapel. More shots at the chapel! More shots afterwards at the wedding celebration. As Topher and Sawyer head for their hotel, they see a chapel and now they are married. So drunk that Sawyer doesn't remember their wedding night; but Topher does. Topher shows a video from the chapel owner with getting married to Sawyer. What does Sawyer do when she finds out that she's pregnant after she starts having morning sickness 4 weeks after Vegas. How are Topher and Sawyer going to handle that news? Does Topher stand up and support Sawyer? How do their friends handle things?.

I’ve read the other books in this series (loved them all) yet somehow they kept getting better and better, making this one is my favourite by far! I loved seeing glimpses of Sawyer and Topher in the other books and finally we get their story. Sawyer is independent as can be and her career is everything to her. Topher, has been a mentor to his younger friends to the point where they look up to him like a dad.
I loved how it took a few drinks of liquid courage for them to finally let things happen while out celebrating their friends nuptials and winning a major tournament. It was a wild night and both of them are missing important details from the night before. Unfortunately, once Sawyer wakes up beside Topher, she panics and ghosts him, not just for the day but several without knowing the full extent of their actions. I loved how Topher kept pursuing Sawyer. He knew in his heart, she was the one. He gave her some space but would not give up! And good thing he didn’t!!
“I never wanted a baby. At least not until that moment. How can you fall in love with something so tiny? But that’s what I did. I instantly fell in love with this baby. ”
I loved every page of this book and hope you do too.
Topher is assistant coach to the hawks, a hockey team. His sole goal is to become the head coach. The PR representatives who see to their reputations and popularity has Sawyer working night and day to do just that. Her only goal is to become partner. What is that saying? Best laid plans and all of that become harder for eah to stay on track. An exhibition game set in Vegas was successful for the team. They win the championship. That is the only planned thing that is achieved. What happens in Vegas, becomes hard to leave in Vegas. Ms. Lee has woven a fantastic tale with twists, turns and excitement!
Topher and Sawyer have been tiptoeing around each other despite the massive chemistry bubbling between them. When one night in Vegas ignites the explosion, their lives take an unexpected turn towards each other, albeit a rocky one at first. It was a fantastic story, and Topher was great in how patient he was and going after what he wanted. I really enjoyed this read and did not want it to end.

Vegas strikes again in this really fun book in MA Lee's Hockey Romance series. Topher and Sawyer are great characters, and I loved getting to see them interact with the previous couples in this series, and Topher and Sawyer's story closes out this groups story in a really great way...
A fun and passionate story about accepting changes in our lives that deviate from our plans, and yet take us to a better destiny...

This is just another well written and funny story of the men (and their women) of the Sunnyvale Hawks. This is Sawyer and Topher's story and starts will "what happens in Vegas DEFINITELY doesn't stay in Vegas. After they have a drunken hookup that neither remembers, Sawyer finds that she is pregnant with Topher's baby. The fun and the craziness takes off from there and I laughed until I cried. MA Lee writes sports love stories with a twist and every one has been an absolute delight!.

I'm loving this series and all of the players in it. This book focuses on Sawyer & Topher. Shy workaholic - Sawyer is completely determined to further her career in PR so she has no time for anything else. Whereas Topher is set to take over as coach of Sunnyvale Hawks. Only one night in Vegas changes things for both of them. I really liked Topher & Sawyer. They were off of the charts hot together but also sweet & endearing too. This was another great addition to this series.
Topher & Sawyer: Book 4 of A Hockey Romance: Friends to lovers/ workplace romance/ Vegas/ hockey romance: Finally Topher’s story! This is an interconnected standalone, but I recommend reading all of them in order. It’s a great series & you will understand the characters a bit more this way. M. A. Lee has created a wonderful series with well developed characters and storylines. I loved this book & this series!

This is a short and sweet hockey romance. This book focuses on Topher and Sawyer, as they navigate their unusual start to their relationship. This was a great one day read. Each books characters flow into the next book and helps round out the story line of each character.
