I loved this book as a child. I actually met the author shortly after the book came out. I have a signed copy. This books is awesome because from my house you can see the opening of the Chesapeake Bay, so it was nice to think there was a giant adorable dog swimming around out there.

Hilarious story. Very sweet. Silly, fun, and slightly off rhymes. I probably enjoyed it more than our 3 year old.
