The author has brought everybody into play. the Chinese, the mafia,FBI, and a clairvoyant,
The story follows the gal with extra senses for three months while she recovers being shot ,Cassie. Then brings in omega who saves her life. Only to fabricate her death for three months while she heals. Then they bring in the others that fills the story so well I stayed up all night reading the story. Great read hope you enjoy it also.
The storyline has a slight twist which keeps you wondering how it’s all going to fit. It makes you weave a pattern then you have to pull out your stitches and rethink the actions of the characters again and again. The plot being bad guys taking over the world and good guys saving the world but it’s the characters, their motives and talents that make the book entertaining.
Action-packed, fast-paced book that keeps you turning the pages to see what will happen next. Cassie comes back from the dead, and she is working with Omega to expose and take down Apex. I highly recommend this book. I could not put it down. Happy reading! 😊
Cassie finds herself in danger over and over again in this gripping tale. The fact that she wasn't killed was hidden for months and that caused her friends and family much grief. Ultimately she comes back from the dead and gets in more trouble. Great storytelling.
This story seemed to me had too many mysteries introduced throughout the story. Just when I started understanding the situations, another facet was developed. I found it too confusing and unbelievable that all that could happen to a person without resolution. Not for me anyway. I could hardly wait for the conclusion.
I hate getting to the end and discovering that there is another book coming in 8 months! I am an old person and may not be here in 8 months. I have stopped reading some excellent authors because of this. Also, in 8 months, I no longer care or remember about the charectors.
Cassie is still recovering from being shot and still determined to take down Apex. I gave 4 stars because there was very little psychic action from Cassie and because of the long wait between books. I’d love to see Cassie back in action as a psychic investigator.
I am so glad that the apex drama is over, hopefully. I was sad that Jason left the way he did, but maybe when he returns their relationship will be stronger. Thanks for another great Cassie Quinn story.
Cassie comes back from the dead, but life has changed so much. The story starts off slow and boring but it picks up and is a 4 star book. Enjoyed reading it once it got going.
The first and last Cassie Quinn I've read There were a lot of references to people/events obviously from previous books which meant nothing to me and I felt that there was a lot of repetition in the book.
Ready for number 10! These books are always interesting and full of excitement and energy. Apex is formidable! Cassie and Harris to the rescue. Interesting what might be coming in the last of the series. Seems like changes are coming for Cassie's future! I loved it!
Cassie and friends take on Apex and have the proof they need to take them down. Through life and death they collect evidence and witnesses but not without loss of good people. Love this author!
Risen from Ashes, book 9 of L.T. Ryan and K.M. Rought's Cassie. Quinn series is full of ups and downs. The story doesn't seem to flow as well as the rest of the series. The characters don't jive as well. The book was good just not what was expected.
The authors continue to provide another Creative Cassie challenging read! Each chapter provides the reader with curiosity and surprise results unveiled!
I'm not loving this series as much as I did at the beginning. Three books just for all the Apex storyline was too much. I hope the next book gets us back to what Cassie does best.
The story was incredibly interesting. As I was reading I wondered if something like Apex is really something happening in the world today. It's scary to think about.
