About the author

I’ve been in Houston, Texas, writing novels and designing websites since 2009. Moving here was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, because I’ve been able to live wonderfully, and write my heart out. I’ve always enjoyed the arts in one form or another. Music sets the mood, reading stimulates my brain, and writing allows me to utilize my imagination in any way I want. I’ve been writing stories since I was a teen, and figured out it was my passion when I finished my first novel, Something About Eve.

I love being captivated by books that lead me into different, exotic places, and through impossible scenarios. I love being able to become someone else for a time. Reading has always inspired me to bring my own characters out to play. My hope is that my writing will inspire others, or at the least, give them a way to escape from everyday life for a little while.

If I'm not writing or reading, I'm training for triathlons. It's a good way to challenge my body the way I challenge my brain when writing. I'm not the greatest at it, but not only do I do it for the challenge, I do it for charity. It's a good motivation. :)

Oh how I love this series, every book is a FAVORITE! We revisit Rebecca and Cassidy (Cass) and their lives are definitely happy. Then Rebecca goes to an appointment that rattles her ... She also hasn't been sleeping and having headaches, so she goes to her best friend Dr. Hunter Vale and gets a full workup which includes an MRI.
This is a beautiful story of strength, friendship, and love! Definitely worth more than 5 stars!

When Ms Kelly said that she was going to write another book with Rebecca and Cassidy as the MCs again I was so excited. I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that they are some of Ms Kelly’s most loved characters.

I honestly don’t think I can do justice to how fantastic this book is and all the emotions it evokes. To say that Rebecca and Cassidy go on an emotional rollercoaster is an understatement! The beauty of how they navigate the obstacles they must confront is a testament to Ms Kelly’s writing ability. You are carried along for journey and experience it with them.

This is now my favourite book by Ms Kelly.

The situation that Rebecca and Cassidy find themselves in left me wondering how the hell I would react if it happened to me and my wife. When your bond is so strong, and you think that there is nothing out there that could break it and suddenly you are confronted by a lifechanging situation which not only affects you but all your found family.

Please do yourselves a favour and run, don’t walk, to get a copy of this novel. You will not be disappointed.

A Simple Headline: LOVED IT 🥰

Jourdyn Kelly has developed this group of women that continues to grow and inspire. A different look at Rebecca and Cassidy’s past, present and future. When Rebecca starts to suffer headaches and is feeling stressed after an ugly encounter, she decides to seek Hunters’ advice. Being put through all the test Hunter requested, her and Cassidy are on pins and needles awaiting the results or its twists. Neither were prepared for the outcome and neither were ready for the task of being pulled apart. The story that Jourdyn creates reminds us why we love these women, their friendships, their loyalty, their loving support no matter what is happening. I think we are ready for Aunt Wills story. The Matriarch!

fantastic book

I loved it. Another episode in the series.
It was great catching up with all the ladies.
I hope there will be more.
Some parts are heartbreaking what they went through but it’s definitely a page turner and even better that there’s a hea.
If you buy this book you will not be disappointed.

Curve Ball

This was such a beautiful book to read….what a curve ball. I highly recommend and I’m so glad I was on vacation so I could enjoy it. I love Cassidy and Becca just as much as I love Lainey and Eve. I soooooooooo……look forward to a book with Aunt Wills but with a woman that turns her head ;)

I absolutely loved this book!!!!! Thank you Jourdyn for sharing your talent and characters with us. SPOILER!!!!!!! (unintended) As someone who had a grandmother that helped raised her and yet forget her I know the heartache of becoming a stranger to someone you love so much :(

Another One

This was a great addition to the series. I devoured this book couldn't put it down. Laughed when she wanted me to laugh and cried when it was time to open up the water works. I have no problem recommending this book to my peers.

It literally kept me up at night

This book was exceptionally brilliant. I have read all of Jourdyns books and loved them all. This However, took it to a whole new level. It's brilliant, emotional, inspiring, and I could go on and on.
I fell asleep at 3am while reading it. I woke up at 9am and finished reading it before I even got out of bed for coffee!
That says it all!

Loved another glimpse into the LA Lovers group!

I love this entire group of family/friends. They remind me every chapter that with the right humans around you, love, laughter and a bit of badassery, you can get through anything. Each page was a deeper dive into Rebecca and Cass, each chapter a reminder that true love can not be forgotten.

Undoing

WOW! Be ready for an emotional ride when reading Jourdyn Kelly newest release. I love these MC's and the crazy loyal cast of secondary characters. This broke my heart and pieced it back together.
The MCs have a beautiful relationship with each other and their selected family. How they strive to be there for each other was harmonic.
There was no added angst which I was grateful for. The character development showed consistency to what we already know of the characters and further evolved them. This had a second-chance feel to their relationship without going through a breakup. The way the MCs went about it was enduring. I will continue to be on the watch for more of these cast of characters.

Nothing more needs to be said really, but I’ll no doubt babble on anyway.
If you have read the 2 books before this one you will know and love the main characters along with the supporting cast. If you haven’t read them then what are you waiting for.
Jourdyn nearly broke me with this book, in the best way. As i said I love these two, the things that happen here are heartbreaking. I can’t imagine going through something similar, I certainly wouldn’t be as strong as Cass that’s for sure. The writing is spot on, if you go through the whole range of emotions while reading a book you know it’s done right.
I’m not going to give anything away, all I’m going to say, no beg, is that you read this series.

I read the first part of Cass and Rebecca’s love story back in June (Becoming) and liked that a lot more than I expected to. Accordingly I had no hesitation in downloading this second developing their story (in the midst of other characters we’ve also come to know and love). This was good. Unexpected, but good. I can’t really say much about the plot without giving massive spoilers but I very much enjoyed the easy read. I don’t doubt that I’ll keep on coming back to more of this author’s books in future!

this book made me EMOTIONAL! one of the best books I've ever read, it made me cry, love, and just everything positive I could ever say. If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would.

We catch up with Rebecca and Cassidy, who are living happy lives. But things take a turn when Rebecca has an unsettling appointment. Struggling with sleeplessness and headaches, she turns to her best friend, Dr. Hunter Vale, for help. He orders a full medical evaluation, including an MRI.

This story beautifully captures the power of strength, friendship, and love.

Umm… wow!

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I went down the rabbit hole. First time I’ve read anything from this author, but it certainly won’t be the last. The chemistry that Rebecca and Cassidy did for each other is scorching hot and deep. The unexpected twist had me hoping, crying, jeering, and cheering.

I loved the banter between all the characters and the way they all show up for each other. The story was well thought out and told very well.

This is probably the best that I’ve read this year, which I’ve gone through dozens of books so far.

Very nice

Sorry Journey I really liked the book I guess I'm to used to a little more sex in your books. The story was definitely very interesting. I was so happy when I saw your name and book i m sure I expected to much. Again I apologize if I'm being rude. You were one of my first10 books I read back when vivid hit. I might be wrong about when I read you. My favorite was something about Eve+2 more books.

There’s not enough stars to rate this book 😭

This “younger” side of Rebecca was something else completely. Is no secret that Rebecca is my favorite character among the series, it was so refreshing get to know this carefree and shy side of her.
And Cassidy ❤️ my heart broke for her, cause she really is the sweetest.

This one here is definitely going to my physical shelf.

I really enjoyed this book. It was different and a breath of fresh air to see a different side to Cass and Rebecca. Still sexy and spicy but with a sweet twist.
I discovered this series by reading The Mrs Middleton books and while reading I enjoyed the brief moments in which Cass and Rebecca were introduced. I love them! Of course now I want to read about everyone else. I like Ellie and Hunter so they may be my next stop!

Actually a pretty good story. This is an odd genre for me and I don’t read much of it, but what is life without understanding all of it? So I read some in lots of genres including this one. Particularly well plotted and written, a bit more spice than I need, but different strokes (no pun intended). Well researched and put together. Enjoyed it.

This book sets out to answer the question, "Can soulmates find their way back together after a traumatic event?" Follow the characters as a walk through unchartered territory. I recommend this book after the previous books in the series to appreciate the main characters relationship with each other and their friends. A beautifully written book and series.

Describing Rebecca and Cassidy's journey as an emotional rollercoaster barely scratches the surface. Each chapter poignantly illustrates that true love persists, no matter how challenging the circumstances.

These two are tied for my favorites with Eve and Lainey. I could read 100 stories about these two before I felt I had enough. Was it predictable, yes. Sometimes predictability can be fun with characters you love.

I read about Eve some years ago. I didn’t remember the authors name. I was surprised when she appeared in this book. I realized I had missed some books in this series. I don’t like books about BDSM but at least this was handled with care.
