Are you ready for the end of the world? Prepare yourself for a thrilling ride as the Earth is delivered a mortal blow in BROKEN DESTRUCTION, the first book in a gripping new thriller series.

On a typical Tuesday in an average July week, all of Iceland's volcanoes erupt at once, followed by the complete destruction of the Azores Archipelago and the violent sundering of the Atlantic Ocean. Millions are dead, and the Earth is left in ruins. Is this the beginning of the end?

As calamity strikes, the best and worst of humanity is brought to the surface.

In Nebraska, former USGS geologist Ben Stone prepares for Armageddon, but his plans are shattered when the disaster overwhelms his predictions.

Max Ungle, a whistleblower who has known of the disaster's origins from the beginning, is determined to stop it at any cost, even if it means being ridiculed, ignored . . . even killed.

Ben's brother Will Stone, a retired Army Ranger, must come out of retirement to save the planet's most precious resource, the Magnetosphere, from a cataclysmic collapse.

The clock is ticking as the race to stop a diabolical plot that could end humanity forever begins. Can they do it in time, or will the Earth be destroyed forever?

Polar bears

Please do your research...Polar Bears do not inhabit Antarctica! They are only found in the Northern Hemisphere. But it was a good book.

really hoping for a 3rd or more

I truly enjoyed both the 1st book and this one equally and found that characters easily to connect with. The storyline is one I could see happening in our world today scarily more so then many other apocalyptic based books ..I hope Ms.Barker continues on with subsequent sequels as I need to know what the ultimate outcome will be.

This is the continuation of an interesting story but the author seems to be more versed in geology than in developing the characters who I find largely boring. I thought after Book 1 we might see more character development but not so much. I also think this second book could have been somewhat more condensed as the subplots largely dragged on and on.

HAVOC

A very good novel. This is the second book in the series but can be read as a standalone book. The earth, the Stone Family, and friends still face many challenges in this new earth environment. New plans, new adventures, and new friends await the people in this new earth scenario.

Intriguing!!!!

Events that are difficult to embrace lead to a journey for survival by a wide range of characters and their enemies.

Not something easy to turn down.

Awaiting Book 3!!!!

good, but plodding.

Very much a good story. It’s just that this second installment is slow…quite slow. There’s only so many extremely detailed superfluous scenes one can stand. Plod past those and you’ve got yourself ax very intriguing story.

Thrills a mile a minute

Continuing from the first novel the characters become more vivid and the horror of the story seems more realistic in these times

Awesome book

It no longer amazes me that even though it's fictional there are people in this world that will never stop controlling everything
