“But with the heartbreak, my resolve strengthens. These tears will be the last I shed.”Desperation can be seen as a weakness, but I disagree. It’s an emotion so strong that you are willing to do anything. An unwavering passion. You will let the world crash and burn to get what you seek… There is no way that is a weakness when it's for the ones you love. It takes more strength than most have to choose this path. And while I feel completely lost and broken since the moment fate had me decide…It's the choice I was forced to make.

We are broken apart and shadowed in misery, but what lies in the darkness is also a chasm to seek light. Imprisoned, he aims to break my body and mind but forgets that the blood that runs through my veins is not that of a little bird that he cages. It is that of the raven. A fierce queen with the magic of the moon and bonds on my side.

A remaking is what he wants, and one will be received… but with Valeska and the dragons returning to Aldramani, more is left to be seen. There is power in knowledge, and I know patience is key. For now, I keep my eyes open and my mind free.

I may be a caged bird, but it's not freedom I seek.

✨Moon Raven Rising✨

Blake sure knows how to bring the bang into a finale! What an ending to an intriguing fae-shifter trilogy that shows us it’s not always darkness versus light, but sometimes a dance with both.

We begin right where we left off after book two’s cliffhanger and there is no slow moment available. Action abounds, secrets revealed, unlikely allis bond, redemption arcs ignite, and the romance and banter give us all a cool drink amidst the fiery chaos. Your chosen family each have their missions. They are each sworn and ready to fight to the death for their loved ones and people. It was beautiful to see our favorite characters rise up, grow up, and sacrifice for those they not only believed in, but loved and forgave.

We follow many POVs in MRR, but If you want a dark and gritty opportunity to be inside the villain’s POV, well check the triggers and buckle up, because Blake does a terrifying and phenomenal job of giving us a perspective inside a man purely twisted and evil. These chapters were riveting and eye opening. I love when we get glimpses inside the villain’s minds, though beware, it is dark.

Tropes you may find in MMR are a true villains POV, medium high spice (some of these scenes are very graphic and from the villain’s POV), fae and shifters, dark and light, moon vibes, chosen family, fated mates, unique bonds, dragons, witty banter, redemption arcs, burn the world for her, and an epic conclusion.

Thank you, Blake, for this gifted arc. It’s once again a pleasure to be a part of your team!

A SOLID 4.75 ✨ from me.

Moon Raven Rising is the final book in the Moon Raven Trilogy.

It does pick up where book two (Eclipse of Fate) left off.

Raelle is being held prisoner by Soren Croix, who is attempting to usurp the crown & has intentions of forcing Raelle to marry Prince Osiris to forge an alliance with the King of Dragons.

Meanwhile, Raelles found family, Dax, Trent, Ambriel, Alaric and Kait are plotting how to bring their queen home to them and save the kingdom for the Usurper.

I devoured this book in one sitting - after the cliffhanger in book two I needed answers immediately. In this story you get it all, found family, dragons, redemption arcs, fated mates, a shadow daddy, and a stabby FMC.

I truly enjoyed this trilogy from beginning to end. The relationships and friendships that we see forged in times of need, the forgiveness and love we see these characters express is just an ode to not needing to share blood to be family.

💥Fantasy Epic

❤️‍🔥Fated Mates

🗯Multi-Pov's

Review:
The culmination of a brillant epic comes to a roaringly spectacular conclusion. Trust me when I say, "this is the way" to your next fantasy obsession! Full to the brim with complex characters and deepening story threads, this saga evolves with effortless dramatic precision. Pieces on a chess board moving into place, villains more than they seem, friendships tested and blooming love, high stakes battles... this has been a journey frought with all the heartbreak, tears, pain, magic, and love associated with truly great timeless stories.

The growth of our troupe (told effortlessly in dynamic multi pov's) amidst the trials they've been pitted against has been nothing short of staggering.

Cano - what an incredibly complex, devilishly delicious villain we've had in him. When one starts to "feel" for the bad guy, that's when we have a masterful author! I was just lapping up seeing more of him and his fiery personality and his arc over the 3 books. He has darkness and pain in ways that just magnetized you to him and you can't turn away. I'm head over heels for this enigmatic scene stealer!

Dax and Raelle - a sublime love story that's truly tested to the limits! They are endgame, they are a Roman Empire! Both fighters, both sacrificing and wholly devoted to one another. I can't say enough about this power couple.

Suffice to say this is an all time favorite series of mine indefinitely! If a film trilogy, this would sweep the Oscars like Return of the King! Blake has gifted us with a real treasure and you all need to surrender to this literary juggernaut!

It is bittersweet to read the final sentence of a series. You feel happy that the characters got the endings and closures they deserved, yet you feel sad that it is over and the time has come to say goodbye to a world you feel so connected to. This is precisely how I felt after the epilogue of Moon Raven Rising, the third and final book in Blake Gallows' Moon Raven Trilogy.

This entire series is a true masterpiece, offering a story of undying love for those closest to you and everyone else, passion and compassion, fighting for higher goals, fighting for those who cannot fight, and ultimate sacrifices. Oh, the times I've cried, laughed, sat on the edge of my chair, and held my breath waiting—they are way too many to count.

I've often said I've never seen a villain written so masterfully as Blake wrote the character of Cano. And now, in Moon Raven Rising, she outdid herself by showing us the story from the eyes of the villain mastermind, Soren Croix, Cano's father. The levels of cruelty and deadly ambition he has shown are hard to read yet of utmost importance to the overall plot. It also shows us why Cano acted the way he did. Blake allows us not to pardon but to understand where some of it comes from. Cano's chapters still remain some of my favourite ones.

So much was happening in this epic finale; so much was at stake; the plot was thickening, secrets were unravelling, and new alliances were being forged. The emotions were running high up until the last sentence. This last instalment was everything it needed to be—explosive, full of twists and turns, soaked with emotions, good and bad. I sense there might be room for additional stories, and I hope Blake will continue exploring them in the future.

Moon Raven Rising is releasing on February 27th; the epic finale is upon us, and the moon raven is flying high.

You know when a series just grabs you with everything, and then you are so addicted to the characters and the stories you dont want it to end?
So this is THAT series for me.

Im so lost for words with this one. Blake, I absolutely loved Moon Raven. My favourite thing about this book/ series is Blake's ability to create each character so differently and so real it's like they are here. Every multi pov keeps me turning pages so quick. I devoured this last book in less than 24 hours.

Here's where we were at. After the end of Eclipse of Fate. Raelle once again separated from her mate and family by the ghost of one long thought dead she has to rise or her kingdom and all she loves will fall. Thrust into an unlikely alliance with the Prince of Dragons and discovering more about her bonds and magic. It is a race to rise or watch it all crumble.

This final book sets us up for a massive fight to the death. Secrets are revealed, bonds are formed, and those once thought lost return. It's a story of redemption, second chances, and found family. It's about sacrifice, heartbreak, and love, and through it all, a Moon Raven holds fast. This was an epic ending to trilogy that absolutely has my heart and is one of my top 3 all-time reads.

Thank you for Raelle, Dax, Ambriel, Trent, Alaric, Cano, Miles, Kait, Osiris, and Maki. Im gonna miss them

Oh and fk you Thames 🤣🤣🤣

Moon Raven Rising leaves off from book two, Eclipse of Fate! This book kept me on my toes with all the surprises and Blake ended this book sooo well! I love all the characters growth in this book. I always love villains and seeing what made them become one and Blake truly made Cano one of my favorites. I love Raelle and Dax relationship, aahhh... they're perfect!

ARC~

From reading the first book as an ARC to the last was such an emotional expirance. I am honored to be on this journey with others and the author. This book had me stressed while they were apart and towards the end. A certain death made me sad because his character did a 180 with how he was in the first book. The other bonds we see grow. And just seeing it come to and how this book got wrapped up was bitter sweet and it was definitely worth it.

In the final installment of this captivating trilogy, the Blake masterfully intertwines romance, action, and a deep psychological exploration of the villain's psyche. The story continues to unfold in a world with fae shifters manipulative identities and emotions, creating a rich tapestry of intrigue and deception. The protagonist, caught in a whirlwind of fiery chaos, finds herself torn between her devotion to love and the darkness that the villain embodies.

The banter between the lead characters is electric, infused with a playful yet charged tension that keeps readers on the edge of their seats. As secrets are revealed, the stakes rise dramatically, leading to heart-wrenching moments that test the limits of love and selflessness. The villain's perspective adds a unique depth to the narrative, showcasing their obsession and the twisted motivations that drive their actions. This complexity makes the character both terrifying and fascinating, as the line between light and dark blurs.

The finale is action-packed, filled with thrilling confrontations and emotional sacrifices. The journey is not just about external battles but also the internal struggles of the characters as they navigate heartbreak and devotion. The graphic spice adds an intense layer to the romance, making every moment feel raw and real. The love story between Dax and Raelle is end game; testing the limits of selflessness and devotion. Overall, this book is a breathtaking conclusion that will leave readers breathless, reflecting on the power of love and the sacrifices made for others in the face of chaos. It's a must-read for fans of fantasy and romance who crave a story that delves into the complexities of the human heart.

It feels so bittersweet for the ride to come to an end with the Moon Raven Trilogy. A much deserved five star read; truly a series you wish you could experience again for the first time.

Blake’s first series has come to an end. And what a series it has been! From book one, this series has held onto me. I was so excited to read the conclusion of this story, where Blake reminds us that good vs evil isn’t always black and white. Sometimes, most of the time, there are many gray areas that we each tip toe across. I loved everything about this book and how Blake concluded everything. Perfection!

As this series has progressed, it has stayed obvious that Blake loves these characters and their journeys. Each character playing a crucial point to the overall storyline, this story would have not been as epic if not each one was a part of it. Blake truly had a purpose for each of them, whether good or bad, and she wrote them perfectly. In doing so, the readers are easily pulled into the story and find themselves in a beautiful world.

Continuing Dax and Raelle’s beyond epic love story, I will never get enough of these two. From book one, these two have lived in my head rent free. The passion that surrounds both of them is evident and the love they feel for each other is beyond the realms. They are willing to do anything for each other, many times doing just that.

Blake has become a favorite author of mine. She is passionate about her stories, pouring so much into her characters, and creating beautiful worlds for her readers to escape into. I hope to see more of this world, maybe in spin offs or a brand new storyline. I highly and enthusiastically recommend Blake and not just this book, but all her books. Take time to read her stories and I can guarantee you will come to love her writing just as I do.

As always, review any author notes before reading.

🐦‍⬛Moon Raven Rising by Blake Gallows🌙

“I grab the small blade from his boot that was too close to the prisoners hands — my hands.”

“I will bring the realm to its knees for her, and if I have to burn it all down in the process, I will provide the flame with my own hand.”

What a way to end a trilogy, I have loved this series from the beginning and Blake Gallows has not let us down! So full of heart stopping moments, twists and turns, moments I was giggling and kicking my feet, and finally moments that you were screaming because it cut to a different POV before you were ready 😅.

I surprised myself when I even cried for a character I didn’t think I would, who do you think it was? We have enemies we can truly despise, touch her and ☠️, badass FMC, fated mates….ok pretty much all the cool stuff you want in a book!

The gist: Trapped within the walls of this room, he believes he has trapped a little bird but what he will come to learn..she is a Queen, The Moon Raven Queen 🐦‍⬛.

the perfect wrap up for an amazing trilogy

This was everything I needed!!

I’m in love with this world, the story, and the characters. This was a beautiful conclusion to the adventure this trilogy takes you on. There were so many emotions being drawn out, and the twists sprinkled in were done superbly, I definitely didn’t anticipate even half of what was happening and I love when a story plays out like that.
My favorite character would have to be Raelle. She’s fierce but loving, and she is such a strong fmc. She keeps getting thrown on these impossible paths and she always perseveres, but boy she really flourishes in this one. It’s not just her though. All of the characters seem to find their way, whether it be good or bad. Each one grows along with the story and the depth that each has makes it almost impossible to say good bye. Usually in a story I get attached to one or two characters but I genuinely want to know where everyone’s story has gone after this because I loved them all and was not ready to let them go. So so good!

Moon Raven Rising by Blake Gallows 🌕 🐦‍⬛

Grateful to have had the chance to read Moon Raven Rising prior to the release on February 27, 2025!

Not sure how it’s possible that the final book in this series is being released released 😭

The book picks up immediately where we left off. We are thrust back into action as our characters try to figure out how to save the kingdom.

This story has several different POVs and it’s fun to watch everything happen through so many different lenses. I’ve grown to love these characters and watching their growth through the past three books.

It’s also a tad bittersweet as our story comes to an end. If you enjoy found family, epic battles, and fated mates PLEASE give this series a try.

On a personal note Blake was the first author to give me the opportunity to read her work. I’ve now had the privilege of reading four of her books and can confirm she is the sweetest human!

What a way to finish a series! I think I didn't breathe the entire time I was reading this book. It was action-packed, with so many turns, and we had multiple POVs to experience the story from the perspectives of all the main characters.

I'm always in awe when an author creates a proper villain, someone you'd hate forever. Blake did an excellent job of giving us Cano's POV, allowing us to get to know the character better and truly giving the story a lot more depth.

I'm so in love with this trilogy. The characters are amazing. They go through so much but are able to keep fighting and growing together. I love, love, love everyone in this world.

Dax and Raelle are the perfect couple. That's it. I don't have anything more to say about them because their bond is so powerful that I cannot use words to describe it.

Thank you so much, Blake, for the opportunity of being a part of your ARC team.

Blake Gallows has truly outdone herself with the final installment of the Moon Raven Trilogy. From start to finish, the story kept me hooked, expertly weaving together all the threads from the previous books. The character development was outstanding, and the world-building only got richer and more immersive with each page. 🌙✨

You can really feel the hard work and dedication Blake has put into this series, and it’s clear how much she cares about her characters and the world she’s created. As fans, we absolutely love everything about the Moon Raven saga — it’s been such a thrilling ride! 📚❤️

Though it’s bittersweet to see the journey come to an end, I can’t help but be grateful for all the unforgettable moments along the way. This book continues to deliver on all fronts, filled with twists, deep emotions, and powerful scenes. I’m beyond excited to see what Blake has in store for us next! 🌟 Can’t wait to see what she does next — this is just the beginning!🙌🏼

This is the best book of the series and does an excellent job of wrapping things up. There are also twists and turns and it genuinely made me gasp and made my jaw drop - especially the last half of the book is SPECTACULAR.

I LOVED the character arc of all the main characters and I think one of the best parts of this series is the multi-POV. It’s so incredibly well done.

Petition for a Trent and Ambriel sex scene. Why didn’t we get that on page??

Petition for the Soren sex scene to be erased from my memory. That should be illegal. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Will Kait get a spinoff? I need more info.

There’s dream sex, there’s inappropriate “we have to go to war but I must put my penis inside of you first” sex (as one does), there’s the most horrific sex scene I’ve ever read. Who was more traumatized - me or Violet??

So bittersweet.

This is the absolute perfect ending to an amazing Trilogy. I was never one who was immediately drawn to a romantasy, but from book 1 Fated Unkindness- I have been hooked. Blake knows how to draw you in with her characters.

This book starts off with a bang right where book 2-Eclipse of Fate- has ended. There's no down time. Immediately sucks you in immediately.

Raelle, Dax, Cano, Trent.. everyone is just full of strength, resilience and fight.. fight for their kingdom, fight for their Queen but mostly fight for their family.

Raelle and Dax are the ultimate couple goals. They know how to lift each other even when the other doesn't know they need it.

The Moon Raven Trilogy will forever be one of my top favorites 😍

SO sad this series has ended, but this third book was the cherry on top to an amazing story! I loved everything about this book from the plot with incredible twists and turns, the multiple POVS’s, the spice…. everything!!

My favorite character of the series was surprisingly Cano. I never thought I would go from hating a character so much, to loving them by the end of the series. His story line was so complex and really pulled at the heart strings towards the end! I don’t want to ruin the story for others, but you will definitely have to read to see why!

You should be so proud of yourself Blake! You, once again, killed it! Can’t wait to see what you have in store for us in the future!! 🤩

What an EPIC conclusion to the Moon Raven Trilogy! Blake teased an emotional book and she did not disappoint. It's been awhile since a book had me full on sobbing multiple times. Especially towards the end. She brought multiple characters to life and I will miss reading them. Especially the new book boyfriend I've added to my very small list, Cano. A lot of reader might be Team Dax, Team Trent, or Team Alaric...I was Team Cano. I have had a love/hate relationship with him throughout all three books!

I'm going to miss this world. Thanks to the author for writing an amazing series with multiple compelling characters and side stories.

I have loved getting to see these characters grow throughout the series. Blake does an amazing job of creating backstories and arcs for each and every character. Just the growth in Cano alone. I despised that man in book one, but he has definitely worked towards redemption. I will be sad to see them go, but I definitely see where Blake could do some spinoffs should she chose.

I absolutely loved this series and this last installment was my favorite! It has been an amazing journey watching Blake development as a writer over this past year! She has an amazing talent that keeps getting better! This is an epic conclusion to a great series! The characters are amazingly complex and the storyline is full of twists and turns. There is magic, friendship, family, betrayal, love, hate, sadness, pain, forgiveness-all the things that make for a great series!

It's bittersweet writing this review, knowing that this was the final instalment in the Moon Raven trilogy.
These books hooked me from the outset, with a multitude of my favourite tropes expertly woven together. The found family dynamics, told through multiple POVs, were beautifully handled, and I connected with so many more than just Raelle and Dax.
While I'm sad that I have to leave this world behind now (bar the inevitable rereads), this trilogy is gripping until the final lines of the epilogue.
Blake has cemented herself as an auto-read author for me.

After that WILD book two cliffhanger I was so excited to get going on the final book in this trilogy.

You don’t often get an unadulterated look into the villain’s perspective in fantasy romance…well buckle your seatbelt and check your TW because Blake does an incredible job at giving us this perspective. I never would’ve thought I’d want more villain after Cano but WOWEEE.

As per usual I was obsessed with the found family of this series. Dax and Raelle are a fav fantasy couple of mine - I love Raelle’s take no shit personality and devotion to those she loves.

The third book was the BEST of this trilogy!! OMG!
I’ll keep this spoiler free, but MAN, this book was action packed from front to back. What an EPIC ending.

The togetherness. The growth. The strength. The redemption. The STRESS this book put me through.

What an amazing ending to The Moon Raven Trilogy!! I don't know how to handle this book hangover!!

My emotions were all over the place. The story continues through multiple POVs. Raelle, Dax, Cano, Trent, Alaric, Ambriel, Kait all get to tell their parts of the story. The villain gets to tell his side also. (Hold on to your anger for this and check trigger warnings!)

I love how Dax and Raelle's story finishes.

I am excited to continue the adventures of this found family.

I absolutely loved this book, I was on my toes the entire time and my emotions were all over the place. I enjoyed how we got a lot of different povs throughout the story and we got to dive deeper into certain characters. I enjoyed all the chaos, banter, heartbreaks, betrayals and so much more from this book and it honestly answered all my questions and gave me some peace of mind in the ending. This was a great ending to the trilogy
