About the author

Hiro Mashima (Jap: 真島ヒロ) is a Japanese manga artist.

He gained success with his first serial Rave, published in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine from 1999 to 2005. His best-selling work, Fairy Tail, published in the same magazine from 2006 to 2017, became one of the best-selling manga series with over 72 million copies in print. Mashima began the currently ongoing Edens Zero in 2018.

Fairy Tail won the Kodansha Manga Award for shōnen manga in 2009, and Mashima was given the Harvey Awards International Spotlight award in 2017 and the Fauve Special Award at the 2018 Angoulême International Comics Festival.

This story would thrive in shonen jump. I mean, if not for the fan service. Pretty solid match ups with the new characters. Very exciting!

Finding out more about the Shining Stars missing memories! Bruh!

So we finally start getting some more clues about some of the overarching mysteries of Ziggy and both the Shining Stars and the Dark stars. While the fights are pretty good at showing the strengths of Eden Zero crew and the Dark Stars. As we see they have grown stronger but I wished that the outcomes would have changed a bit. But the clues we get about the Dark Stars are interesting and I hope they lead to a great pay off.

4.5/5 The battle continues on Planet Lenard. This time Shiki, Rebecca, Weisz, and Homura are facing off against the Four Dark Stars, the counterparts to the Four Shining Stars of Edens Zero. We discover that they too have had their memories erased around the same time as everyone else. What was going on with Ziggy during this time is the big mystery now that needs revealing.

Personally, I think there are too many characters and too much of the story is devoted to fighting. I prefer learning about the people to watching them fight. Nevertheless, this is good manga.
