The books are still under 200 pages so a quick read.

Well I must be getting used to her stories. Use to the way that she doesn't really feel in a lot of twist and turns. Because she doesn't give enough detail to form any twist. Concerns, the character building is very superficial but because of that very easy to follow, it's a very enjoyable read if it wasn't. I wouldn't continue buying the books. Only the first one was free. Have now gone through all 4. And that pre-ordered the fifth one, which won't be available until January. Hopefully, I can wait that long. You all take care of enjoy your reads.

Stunning betrayal!

Seraphina Stormborn has completed year three of the academy’s training. What should be a day of celebration becomes a stunning betrayal with the queen’s announcement. This year at Cragfall will be a brutal struggle to overcome the challenges and monsters she must face to learn the power of stone if she is going to graduate.

Morgan Rice has a talent for suspense, action, and drama that ties me up in knots! I received an advance copy but my review is honest and voluntary.

I was given an ARC of this story and it follows Seraphina's trials to gain mastery over the elements...this time, stone.

It's full of action, thoughts and feelings with complex relationships in addition to surrounding dangers from enemies known and unknown.

Sera is a strong, likeable character, her determination and resolve pushing her to succeed.

I liked the mystery and the magical elements and the was a great sense of place.

Engaging and enjoyable.

Recommended.

The saga continues

Morgan Rice has created a rich world filled with secrets that become essential to addressing the political situation. A hero's journey where a young woman learns more than she ever dreamed and finds herself at the center of a turning point for her world. I hope she is going to tell us what happens next.
