This literary chimera navigates a serpentine pharmaceutical conspiracy, transforming serial murder investigation into scaffolding for divine epistemology.
The author deploys Kantian practical reason as philosophical baton, conducting God's existence not through speculative demonstration but moral imperative—a postulate as axiomatically necessary as geometric proof.
Yet "Ubermacht" protagonist's immaculate construction threatens narrative verisimilitude; his superhuman omniscience transforms compelling protagonist into didactic marionette. Angina is the kind of novel in which the protagonist is flawless and blemish-free, like a blank sheet of white paper—and just as boring! It’s a novel where the protagonist is first at everything, from medicine and mathematics to scuba diving, even while offering the lamest arguments for the existence of a creator—the kind you’d find in a Facebook comment dated back to the BC era. Yet, you find yourself reading all 400 pages of hero-hyping and charismatic retreat, hoping the writer is pulling a bluff; hoping he will turn everything around and the protagonist will actually become the antagonist.
Spoiler: The protagonist does not turn into an antagonist.
This could have been a mildly interesting novel sans the silly "Would you believe this car doesn't have a creator; it just evolved itself?" kind of lame-arse, 50-paise Facebook "freethinker" group philosophy, and a hero with a slightly shorter stick up his arse! If only the author hadn't tried so desperately to be funny and cute. It’s a cringe-filled corn-fest. The sad thing is, the author achieved all this with a plot that could have been a solid crime thriller.
This rant is just my frustration from going through 400 pages of hope, only to be disappointed. I wish the author a very good second book.

3.8 !!!!
What i hated about this was the extreme and useless (as i thought) effort to make believe that belief in god or being a theist is necessary and is above everything; especially here by a doctor and an Ips.
There were too many plotholes here. Also, too much unwanted informations which never touches the real plot. Apart from that, It was a cozy and interesting plot and read.
Nonetheless, I got sucked into it and gulped this down.
What i hated about this was the extreme and useless (as i thought) effort to make believe that belief in god or being a theist is necessary and is above everything; especially here by a doctor and an Ips.
There were too many plotholes here. Also, too much unwanted informations which never touches the real plot. Apart from that, It was a cozy and interesting plot and read.
Nonetheless, I got sucked into it and gulped this down.

വായന സുഖമുള്ള കുറ്റാന്വേഷണ നോവലാണ് . യുക്തി ചിന്തയ്ക്ക് മുകളില് ദൈവ വിശ്വാസത്തെ പ്രതിഷ്ടിക്കാനുള്ള ബോധ പൂര്വമായ ശ്രമം കല്ലുകടി ഉണ്ടാക്കി .
ബിഗ് ബാങ്ങ് സിദ്ധാന്തവും പരിണാമ സിദ്ധാന്തവും ഒക്കെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അസ്തിത്വത്തിനുള്ള തെളിവായി കാണിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ഡോക്ടര് എന്നത് തീരെ രസിച്ചില്ല . അത്തരം കാര്യങ്ങള് ഒഴിച്ച് നിര്ത്തിയാല് നല്ല വായന

Decent ത്രില്ലർ. പക്ഷേ പരിണാമ സിദ്ധാന്തത്തെപ്പറ്റി ഇത്രയും വികലമായ ഒരു കാഴ്ചപ്പാടുള്ള ഒരു ഡോക്ടർ കോമഡി ആയിരുന്നു.
