Zoe is looking at moving up within the FBI, and she gets a GREAT chance when she's put on a task force investigating a betting ring for professional sports. She also meets Parker, a professional hockey player with the NHL through her brother, Ben, but when they hit it off, and end up together in Parker's apartment, she finds proof that helps her break the case wide open, but paints his as guilty.
6 years later, she finds out that Parker is now co-coaching at the her Brother's Hockey Camp when he ends up as the coach for her 5 year-old son, Owen, at the camp.
And when a dive and fact-check brings up that Parker was NOT in fact guilty, she has to decide how to deal with the truth, including who Owen's father is.
I enjoyed the intrigue, and the way that Zoe stood up for the truth, regardless of how it might have affected her career. Parker was a really great coach for the kids, and I appreciated how he dealt with the situation.
A really enjoyable, quick read.
