Window here. Let's be honest, if you've already read this series, you don't need a synopsis. But if you're new to this series, and you're reading this, then we all know why you clicked on this when you saw the cover. There were two, huge reasons for you to click. Now that you're reading this, let me tell you about Drake, this series' protagonist who now has nineteen wives by the end of this volume, and that's only counting the ones who actually have normal bodies! It's also only counting the nanite-swarm hivemind wife as one despite technically having trillions of bodies. I guess he's a pretty okay guy, speaking as one of his wives. This volume is extra fluffy and comes with a super fluffy kitsune wife. Of course, at some points, it feels even more incomprehensible and absurd than usual... but that's par for the course around here.
Oh, I was supposed to talk about Drake, but meh. Surely, you'd rather hear more about me, Window, the best informational status window to ever exist! Wait, I'm being told to hurry things up. Dang it. Okay, I'll leave you with this for a quick and simple two huge reasons, more fluff than ever before, more wives than ever before, more breaking the fourth wall than ever before, and more absurdity than ever before, all in one volume, now featuring fox girls! If you need more than that, you're a lost cause.

This book continues the strange weirdness that has pervaded this series since the start. In fact, it took it to the point that it's getting just a little stale at times. Maybe it was because I wasn't feeling 100%, but this book just wasn't as funny as its predecessors. I think I laughed all of two times, and was mildly amused a few others.
Part of that is because nothing really happens in the entire book. I mean, he gets new wives, but he's got like a dozen already, and there is no character development in any of them. And that's how it's supposed to be in this series, but still.
I'm hoping the author does wrap up the arc in the next book, because I'm not sure how much longer he can successfully pull this off.
