A billionaire in hiding. A lost Spanish galleon. A body in the surf.
Julia Ross and her friends, Dottie and Penelope, are invited to an exclusive island retreat in The Bahamas known as Abrams Cay, a world-class wildlife education center catering to the ultra-wealthy.
Their all-expenses-paid vacation takes a deadly turn when Julia discovers the hotel manager’s body floating in the surf.
The Bahamian authorities suspect drug smuggling—but once again, they arrest the wrong suspect. As Julia, Dottie, and Penelope search for the real killer, they uncover a web of secrets involving a reclusive billionaire wanted by INTERPOL, a centuries-old shipwreck filled with treasure, and a rare bird thought to be extinct.
Someone powerful is manipulating events behind the scenes—but why? Abrams Cay is supposed to be nothing more than a luxurious nature retreat. The deeper Julia digs, the more danger she’s in…

In this 5th book of the serie, Julia and her friends Penelope and Dottie are in Bahamas. Of course there is also Julia's dog Toby with them. And they solve here another mystery. The book is nice and well written. I enjoyed reading it and continue to read next book now.
Started with the first one, and am reading them one after the other. A little older than the main character, I still identify with her. I can totally get her adopting a stray dog. I am having fun reading about her, her friends and their crazy antics! Keep up the great work!
