The Orphan Conspiracies: 29 Conspiracy Theories from The Orphan Trilogy, written by novelists and filmmakers James Morcan & Lance Morcan with a foreword by leading scientist Dr. Takaaki Musha and an afterword by renowned historian Professor Richard Spence, contains hard-to-find knowledge. This non-fiction book is based on the political, scientific and financial insights in the Morcans' bestselling international thriller series The Orphan Trilogy (novels that merge fact with fiction by incorporating real-world theories on public figures and major organizations). Now the authors provide detailed analysis for each one of those controversial theories.
In many ways, this exhaustively-researched work is the secret history of the 20th and 21st Centuries. But more than a history, it reveals what is happening right now behind the scenes - in underground bunkers, in the corridors of power, in prime banks and meetings of the world's elite.
The Morcans connect the dots between many nefarious events in recent times and strip away the seemingly infinite classified layers of governments and intelligence agencies. Shockingly, they expose a splinter civilization operating in our midst that has at its disposal extraordinary suppressed technologies, unlimited resources and enormous black budgets - all inadvertently financed by everyday taxpayers.
Garnering evidence from court cases, declassified government files and mainstream media reports, the authors disclose little-known facts on a wide range of topics. Diverse subjects such as mind control, eugenics, false flag operations, The Queen's hidden assets, secret prisons, The Catcher in the Rye enigma, political assassinations, medical cover-ups, genius learning techniques, Yamashita's Gold, the Jonestown mystery, Americanized Nazis, the bankrupting of Third World nations, underground bases, the US Federal Reserve, the New World Order, forbidden science, the War on Drugs, subliminal messages and even extraterrestrials.
The criminals caught like deer in the headlights of these whistleblowing revelations include corrupt officials, racists, secret society members, warmongers, compromised journalists, economic hitmen, modern-day Doctor Frankensteins and mysterious individuals rumored to have wealth that would dwarf the net worth of Bill Gates and others on Forbes' so-called Rich Lists.
Written from multiple perspectives; at times giving voice to conspiracy theorists; on other occasions siding with sceptics; vacillating between serious investigative writing and tongue-in-cheek, self-deprecating humor - The Orphan Conspiracies delivers a balanced exposé of some of the most important issues of our time.
In their unflinching quest for truth and justice, the Morcans take no prisoners as they 'subpoena' the global elite - be they banksters, US Presidents, British Royals, Big Pharma, the Vatican, the FBI, the CIA, the Military Industrial Complex or the founders and CEO's of multinational corporations like Facebook, Shell, Google, BP and Microsoft. No suspicious individual or organization is granted immunity in this no-holds-barred trial conducted on behalf of The People.

Each person, each family, each nation builds its own network of friendships, extended family, work, play, school, sports, entertainment, etc. We form our rituals of daily life, vacations, traditions, cultures, and inherited beliefs. Some of us grow beyond those inherited beliefs, be they secular or religious and, through much self-work, experience, we form our own, live our lives along the paths we have plowed with so much effort shedding the beliefs previously presented as truths by our fore-bearers.
Some of us abide in a place where we divide our loyalties between those who think and believe as we do; find support in those of similar life patterns of belief and life styles, and find others whose lives are different as we see them among “enemies” of our way of life. Others try to remain open to conflicting points of view, trying to bridge gaps; trying to open communication and remain unaffected by propaganda, distorted religious dogmas, yellow journalism, and yes, just down and out plain lies and hyperbole.
That being said, as humans when things, whatever they may be—economic, terrorist, job loss, “unacceptable” life styles that upset previous “normalcy”—we look, intentionally or unintentionally, for scapegoats; for someone to blame, rather than ourselves for our perceived misfortune; for the perceived invasion of what we have designated as our neat and tidy artificially perfect, or not so perfect, life. Some accept responsibility which is good, moves one forward, but perhaps we should also ask what outside forces have impacted on us from areas previously never considered.
So, what has all this to do with the 29 Conspiracies of the Orphan Trilogy? What if we think we are our own puppet masters; that we pull our own strings, and that is not now, nor never has been, the way of it? What if those we consider THEM to our US, are not really the THEM that pull the strings, but that THEIR strings are being pulled; kept so deeply entangled with ours to keep us both too busy with “conflict” at personal/national/international levels to notice the strings that are tying our heads and theirs up in knots?
What if behind this veneer of civilization; behind this veil that obscures our sight, there are who lurk in the shadows—there are those to whom “regular people” are simply devices to be “educated” to produce the demand for what they supply—legally, illegally, out in plain sight, under the proverbial table of decency, honor, and every other word that supposedly defines one as a righteous woman or man?
Once upon a time in November we were dismissed early for prom night. I was on a bus when I heard the news that shattered a dream. There was no prom that night. Everyone sat in horror in front of the television for days. Did we believe then, do we believe now, that our president was murdered in the way we were told? Not many of us, just as not many of us believed what we were told about Martin, about Bobby. Too many variables, too many too quick answers, too much at stake for such simplistic answers. But perhaps the explanation was to make us feel better in such a terrible time of betrayal?
We do so like to feel good, thus, the pharmacological industry spends millions on advertisements about drugs that will help our hearts, our arthritis, our allergies and a host of other ailments. Everyone, every actor, in them seems the picture of health, tiptoeing through the tulips, bouncing a grandchild on our knees. And then, then come the warnings about possible side-effects from everything from strokes to promiscuity, and, oh yes, kidney failure. That is in the fine print, in the sotto voce voice.
We like to feel good, so corporations and banks all make advertisements around the idea that they care so much about us, maybe even give us an astonishing 1% back on our credit cards that carry usurious rates of interest, while paying less than that in interest on our savings accounts—and, well, yes, there were all those too good to be true mortgages that allowed us to find, maybe not keep, but find our homes.
We are engaged in “endless war” against terrorists who could, will, are coming from wherever. We have color coded alert levels, a “permanent” loose coalition of ill defined but always disparaged enemies with hordes of WMD's—somewhere.
In the news there are those “meetings” of heads of state, CEO's of corporations, CEO's of banks just there to talk things through for the betterment of all. And if, indeed, they are there for the betterment of all, why is all kept sub rosa—secret...what happens in wherever, stays in wherever.
We feel good that slavery is illegal, immoral, and yet close our eyes and ears to the horror of it still existing in many areas including sexual slavery increasingly rampant across the world. Would that donut you might be dunkin' while reading this truly taste as sweet if you really acknowledged that many of those contemporary slaves are children—prepubescent children armed with rifles, with shovels, or used as sexual slaves, forced physically through punishments or induced drug addictions? Surely they did not volunteer for service or have naps with cookies.
And what is that little whatzit inside your cell phone, i Pad, etc. that is not available in huge quantities; that could make the country that has it rich, but which instead knows poverty and war? Wonder why?
Does 200.000 billion seem like a lot of money to you? Does it seem a lot of money when it could end hunger worldwide? Have you checked out the costs of war in Iraq and Afghanistan? If we are so innately bellicose, if we so love war, can someone tell me why those who fight them are changed forever, suffer so many horrid physical aftermaths, and wake screaming, live screaming with PTSD? If were are innately bellicose, why are there 22 veterans suicides a day in the States alone?
How necessary really is war, and what are the true causes behind it—what are the real profits behind it, and who is making them? What is the real cost of war in human terms? How many have come back, this is not even counting those who live in country, with TBI, with spinal cord injuries? How many KIA, WIA, MIA, in armies and civilian populations? If you don't know, why not?
Why is the continent of Africa, so rich in resources, so devastatingly poor in so many areas?
Are we mind controlled by some devious force in endless ways, subliminal ways? Are we becoming conditioned to drones making strikes, watching our movements; to subversion of our communication systems? If were are becoming conditioned to “collateral damage” of so many kinds, from whence cometh the conditioning? Who are the men who stare at goats?
Are we really citizens united when some of us barely can make our electric bills, put food on the table, and others POUR millions into elections?
Are you like Mulder, do you want to believe that they are out there, maybe even here, here even for a long, long time and not just sitting about munching on bonbons? If they are here, have been here, why are all not benefiting from advanced technology?
Would you frack or put a pipeline in your own backyard and not expect some reaction from Mother Nature? Those of us old enough remember the advertisement saying that “you can't fool Mother Nature.” Perhaps it should have said you can't fool with Mother Nature, unless, of course, you want to make seemingly limitless money and don't give a tinker's damn about Mother Nature—her children, or her planet.
The bottom line questions the Morcans are asking in this mind bending work are of importance to us. Many children never get over their fright of disturbing clown masks, of puppets on strings made to yell, hit each other, be verbally abusive to each other. What these authors are asking is simple—are we choreographing our own lives, or are there, indeed, very powerful puppet masters in the shadows, in the air, under the ground, deep in caves, and/or at sumptuous secretive retreats for those who broker power as their own inalienable right? Do we wish to live with might is right, or right is might? Do we want to live with power with, or under power over? Do we choose a Machiavellian world, or do we choose the order we need for a new world of compassion, communication, and peace?
Are you up to the challenge of the 29 Conspiracies of the Orphan Trilogy which gives a whole new cavernous dimension to a parent's terrible fear of not living long enough to care for and protect their children at least until they come of age. No one wants unprotected orphan children; well, maybe not no one. My reviews for the Trilogy are here online.
Read this explosive unveiled follow up of the 29 Conspiracies Go for it.
Then start asking questions yourself and be prepared to dig deep, not from the infotainment “news.” And, oh yeah, you might want to have a paperclip or two around to keep track of some things that will launch you into areas and things that you have heretofore never considered, or perhaps even heard of.
Good read, great adventure for those with the black hats, the Fedoras, or those of the Tin Foil variety—an unveiling of those who possibly dwell in the shadows that whips up thought, pours light through those closed drapes and clandestine meetings to “them.”
You can see the Authors would have done an incredible amount of research and investigation into the content for this book. To say that I found the book interesting would be a vast understatement, as I really enjoyed all 29 Conspiracy Theories. I’ve often been very skeptical about a number of items that the Authors have touched on amongst these page. Like who really holds the power in running a country, especially since the politicians don’t seem to do what the 99 percent of the population want. Has there actually been free energy created by someone that has been hidden or squashed by Governments, or the ultra-rich. Let alone what the mega rich and powerful pharmaceutical companies have hidden over the years. These are just some of the subjects that I found fascinating, in this very well put together book. Lance and James Morcan have some amazingly good fiction novels in their collection, and along with this book, it shows what wonderfully versatile writers they both are.
Although the authors are careful to avoid any allusion to it, this book seems to be an integral part of the Morcan Conspiracy which aims at addicting readers to the works of either of the Morcans. For my part, I believe I've discovered that there are two trigger words that incite people to drop virtually anything they are doing and direct their attention to reading a Morcan work. These words are "James Morcan", and "Lance Morcan".
In seriousness, this book is an eye-opener and a thought provoker very much worth reading. It raises many questions that a casual observer of daily events might not even consider, but which are material for in-depth exploration.
The Orphan Conspiracies: 29 Conspiracy Theories from The Orphan Trilogy by James Morcan
Non-Fiction. This book delves into some theories on controversial subjects and some very famous urban legends and (conspiracy) theories. A lot of the topics are brought at some point in one or all of The Orphan Series (books).
They bring up world wide topics such as big bankers,(US) Presidents, The British Royal Family, Pharmaceutical companies, the Vatican, the FBI, the CIA, the Military, CEO’s of huge profiting corporations like Facebook, Shell, Google, BP and Microsoft.
They also bring up "secret societies", and conspiracy theories on some famous people. Some of the concepts and ideas are mere fiction while most of the book is proven fact. I found the book very interesting and it left me wondering how much is going on in the world today that society knows little to nothing about. I highly recommend to all.
This book is just plain enthralling. I got it just the day before yesterday and have been reading nearly non-stop. I finished it tonight and immediately started over to read it again. I am a fan of James and Lance Morcan and have read all of their books. The Orphan Trilogy is a fast paced and thoroughly intriguing thriller. However, it seemed to explore some things that sounded like they could be true life, and I wondered about where they got the ideas. Now I know. The Orphan Conspiracies is a must read. I can't tell you how informative and informative it is. I love their writing style, different from their fiction and just as highly entertaining. This book is destined to be a best seller. I can't recommend it highly enough.
I received the book from the author for an honest review.
This is a great edition to compliment the Orphan Trilogy. In itself the Orphan Trilogy was a brilliant series that held the imagination throughout the books. But while you enjoyed the skill and craftiness of Nine and his fellow orphans you could not help but ask questions. The authors added information within the books to make it more believable, using real events and people throughout so that you could almost believe that this is really happening. Because I receive their posts as well, these information was highlighted and discussed greatly, and to give the reader more facts to digest. You come to the realization that there is more to this series than meets the eye. As you get involved with the orphans, their training and way of life you couldn't help but wonder if this was all sucked out of the author's thumbs. But as I said already, this is not the case. This book clarifies some important topics; urging you as the reader to go and investigate for yourself, and not only take their word for it. It is very easy to read so that any one can understand the information, and that would like to learn more about the things happening around us, shaping our world as we know it. From the Wars, where many laid down their lives, to the hospital bed; organizations are busy conducting our lives for one purpose, greed. People we look up to and respect for their station in life, comes under the spotlight and makes you think. The purpose I believe for this book. We need to think and not believe everything we are fed. It always fascinate me that these people that lives with us, breathe the same air as us, enjoy the same freedom, but yet have ulterior motives. They conceal so many secrets, all to gain the illusive power and control over me, and my fellow citizen walking this earth. At the end of the day we all go to the same place, not one of us is better than the other. But is seems these people think they are.
How easily we are deceived to believe what the media tells us, when at the end it is all about entertainment, money and mind control of the masses. As ordinary people, we are led to believe that the way things runs is correct, but yet it isn't. It is as if we are the pawns on a chess board, and they move us around as long as they stay the king of their own believes and wants. We are fed certain information about history in school while these organisations knows what is the real truth; manipulating us the way they want us to think and act. Freedom becomes a joke then, because we are not really free to believe and choose our way of life, it is pre-planned and is conducted masterly, shaping us and the world we live in.
The question then rise: With the current flow of continues strikes and economic downfall my country experience; how much is orchestrated by these people, and for what gain? (I know the rest of the world is facing equal problems, but I cannot speak for them, only for my own.) The answer: to gain control, not only to control the masses, but also our rich resources. It is as simple as that. What can we do to stop it? Being awake and not believe everything you see or hear; looking at the bigger picture, and identify the puppet master or masters. Thanks for this great book, it has a wealth of information to digest, and as you have said after every chapter; if we are wrong so be it, but retain a healthy skepticism for the truth. It is up to us to believe or leave it as hocus-pocus.
The Orphan Conspiracies is a very well written and easily readable book which details a range of conspiracy theories, such as Area 51, the suppression of Tesla's technological inventions, False Flags and mind control projects like MK-Ultra.
I believe this is a much needed book, as it bridges the gap between authors like John Pilger and David Icke, who are of opposite extremes. There are few books in between these types of authors to give the average reader an overview of what's going on behind the propaganda.
Having said that, the authors of The Orphan Conspiracies go to lengths to separate themselves from what they call the Tinfoil Hat brigade, and I'm somebody who belongs to that group from their perspective! I found it odd that things like chemtrails are dismissed by the authors as to belonging to that 'crazy faction', when there is plenty of seriously researched evidence for their existence. The Illuminati are also dismissed by the authors, when there's much evidence that they orchestrated the French Revolution and have/had ties to many secret organisations like the Rosicrucians and Freemasons. Also, this book mentions Bohemian Grove, and yet fails to say anything about Alex Jones's video documentation from infiltrating the group. And I'm surprised there's no mention of the direct 9/11 conspiracy, seeing as it's the mother of False Flags.
For me, the distinction between Tinfoil Hatters and more reserved conspiracy believers, comes down to not the conspiracy issue itself (whatever that may be) but to the amount of evidence that exists and how reliable that information is. So, if like me, you have studied conspiracies for many years, you will find little that is new here and will be wishing more was said about certain things. But there are enough details amongst the book to keep one interested and entertained. If you're new to conspiracy theories, or have read little about them, then I would definitely recommend this book as a brilliant starting point. The authors don't insist that they know any answers, but are rather just putting out the information for the reader to decide for themselves. Regardless of whether there's any truth to the more 'crazy' conspiracy theories, at the heart of this book, the authors are mostly interested in the very real conspiracy that nobody can deny: that 1% of the population are the financial ruling elite, that wars are created for profit and more, and that we, the people, need to come together to make the world a more just place.
Harry Whitewolf. (Author of Route Number 11: Argentina, Angels & Alcohol.)
Why is this book so highly rated??? I don't get it.
The authors write - "When we set out to write this book it was not our intention to add more negativity to the world, or to depress or frighten readers: rather, we were in our research into the 29 conspiracy theories covered in our thriller series, and then relay that truth to readers through our writing."
If the intention was to relay the truth in the 29 topics of conspiracies, then I believe this book deserves 1 star at best. There is no detailed notes section at the back for readers to reference. Too many sources are unverified first/third hand accounts and the author should have done more work to cross check and determine the veracity of those claims. This is a classic case of "Never let the truth get in the way of a good story"
I was also not a fan of the quotes from the Orphan Trilogy and found it to be a nuisance/not helpful from a flow perspective. If you want a hodgepodge of conspiracy theories, I would advise readers to read the Orphan Trilogy instead and for those that want seriously researched investigative book, then I advise you to stay away.
The Orphan Conspiracies have finally been explained and in great detail. After reading all of the books to the Trilogy, I often had questions. Many of the readers also had questions.
The Kindle edition was released just the other day. I couldn't put my phone down while reading it. I think I had to replug the phone into the wall several times just to keep reading it.
Some of the conspiracies in the book was about brainwashing conspiracies, electric cars and how long they have truly existed, free energy does exist. There are so many conspiracies explained in this book. The entire book will stun you to find out some of the details on the conspiracies.
They also make sure that you know what to and not to believe. It's a way of letting you know if the conspiracy is a true one or false. If they aren't sure, then they tell you that as well. When they do tell you that part, they will tell you the facts that have been found to go with it to help you make up your own mind.
Honestly, for this to be the first NON-fiction, I think the book was written pretty dang well! I learned a whole lot of things that I never would had guessed, found information on or even some things that I'd never even heard before.
A nonfiction book that delves into some theories on controversial subjects and very famous urban legends and( conspiracy ) theories. They bring up world wide topics like ( U.s ) presidents, big bankers the British royal family, pharmaceutical companies, Fbi, Cia, the military, the vatican and ceo's of huge corporations like Shell, Face book , Google, Bp and microsoft. you also read about some secret societies and conspiracy theories on some famous people. Some of the concepts and ideas are fiction while most of the book is proven fact. I enjoyed the book it left me wondering how much we don't know about what is happening in the world today that society knows little to nothing about. I highly recommend for age 18 and over.
Very controversial subject matter that is an eye opener. Things I never really questioned. Some questions that came up in The Orphan Trilogy were answered too. Way to go Lance and James.
While this book is a must read for conspiracy theorists, it is an even more important read for any concerned citizen who values objective thinking. Anyone, that is, who is concerned that the imbalanced reporting of the media, the bias of the "experts" and financially self-interested unduly influence and interfere with objectivity about the most important issues of our time.
While I don't think that James and Lance Morcan intended their book to be a reference manual, its breadth of information and valuable facts make it a resource for anyone interested in the fascinating field of conspiracy theory. And, as the authors clearly state, much of the material in the book is not theory at all, but disconcerting facts that often are swept under the rug or conveniently forgotten.
Whether the conspiracy involves false flag operations such as the Vietnam War, secret activities of the CIA, the insidious fallout after World War II from the integration of Nazi scientists into American research centers, the manipulations of banksters and institutions such as the Federal Reserve, all sorts or economic collusion and concentrations of secret capital...and this just scratches the surface...you will find that The Orphan Conspiracies is a book that is hard to put down.
There a question of how coordinated a "global elite" that is pulling the strings of the world's fate might actually be. There is some evidence, or at least reasoning upheld by some, that organizations such as the Bilderberg Group are at the center of this elite network. But it is also fair conjecture that while the network may be informal, it may nonetheless provide opportunities for elite power brokers to form alliances that are outside any governmental oversight. Some have suggested that members of the Bilerberg Group have violated the U.S. Logan Act, which makes it a felony for private American citizens to negotiate U.S policy with officials of foreign governments. While there hasn't been an indictment under the Act since 1803, I think it is very interesting that the Logan Act is itself a definition of the sort of conspiracy that some accuse the Bilderbergers of being. Accordingly, it would seem that in the eyes of U.S. law, activities bringing together large international cross-sections of officials and power brokers are, indeed, a matter of serious concern.
This book is filled to the brim with information, facts and, yes, theory that is guaranteed to stimulate serious, in-depth conversation. I highly recommend it!
I think you really may want to read James and Lance Morcan's 'The Orphan Trilogy' to appreciate this one. Though in saying that, 'The Orphan Conspiracies' will most probably open your mind to a new way of thinking without. The authors researched this field deep by revealing behind the scenes and present facts from classified events that point to various manipulations of what we think is (the truth).
Subjects of controversial conspiracies unfold with topics such as the assassination of President Kennedy, the royal family, the FBI, large corporations, religious conflicts, and and much more. Another well written non fiction book that truly compliments 'The Orphan Trilogy' well.
Speaking on a personal note, It's funny how we as people tend to believe what others tell us, we take one story to the extreme and may not even think about any other possible side of the same coin. We are easily influenced by the media like there information is truth, but in actual fact, sometimes it is played out, exaggerated, or just plain lies. As they say, talk is cheap and we have the freedom too speech, no matter how warped. Facts bring (just talk) to to its knees, and occasionally, we will find a hole in what we thought was impossible.
This extended book is certainly well worth a read, the authors did a tremendous job of bringing decades and centuries old theories into perspective and there presentation is astounding throughout detailed account within these pages. It certainly brings a clearer picture to mind about seeing things in a different light.
The Orphan Conspiracies is a page turner to say the least. It touches upon controversial subjects that have been talked about for decades. After reading several chapters, I suddenly realized nothing was off limits in this book. Starting with the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, John Lennon and touching upon how HIV could have possibly been spread. And I loved the fact that even though some of us might find all of this hard to believe, the Morcans do it with a touch of humor. Otherwise some of us wouldn't be able to sleep at night.
Once again, I am astounded by the works of Lance and James Morcan. The research that this book entails is simply mind-boggling. Bravo, to both of you for a job well done.
It was nice to read an updated book regarding the current events that are taking place on the planet. I would recommend this book to people who are interested to get an idea of what is taking place in the world. This book covers many angles from the banking industry, health-care, ufos, mind-control and much more! I feel everyone on this planet should read more books like the "Orphan Conspiracies", but most of humanity is sadly in the dark because they're afraid, and...as well by design by the 'Ones' who design our planet. These elitist who heavily influence this world direct humanity.
The Orphan Conspiracies is a good overview and I would recommend to everyone!
If for no other reason than creating questions that readers will later research and discover, this book is a must read. I detest the expression 'conspiracy theory' but we all know that there are powerful influences that call many shots in the real world and if this list of examples, most of which are said to be proven, is any indication, we are in some sort of game that is manipulated by a few for the financial and power gains they want to achieve. Read them and consider that just because some folks are paranoid, it does not mean that someone isn't out to get them!
For some reason, I have been involved with some books and people lately that discuss what some people call conspiracy theories and unorthodox explanations of issues. I must admit, I find some of the topics (and interpretations of events) they explore very interesting. The Orphan Conspiracies is another book that explores some of these topics--some which are very relevant to politics today. The book is well-written and interesting. Occasionally, it got me thinking in ways I don't usually think. For me, that is a good book worth reading.
This is a very interesting book, it covers and explains the main conspiracy theories. Many of them are still debated today, such as the existence of Area 51 and the 1968 assassination of Robert F. Kennedy. This is an introductory book to The Orphan Trilogy. Read it...and you will start to see things in a different light and perspective!
I am familiar with many of the conspiracy theories (or are they?) that Lance and James Morcan write about in this book. The writers cleverly incorporated allusions to them in The Orphan Trilogy books, where they perhaps fostered a little may be in people’s minds.
This is an interesting and enlightening book that will set the open minded reader thinking. Take a look and decide for yourself.
I do hope the writers are not forced to take up residence inside a foreign government’s embassy or a foreign airport if one of the Global Power Elite takes exception to it
The Orphan Conspiracies is a non fiction book about lots of events in history that might or might not have been covered up. Frankly, I have always wondered about some of these things, and whilst most of them may or may not be proved either way, all you can do is come to your own conclusions about them. A truly fascinating read which had my imagination going at full speed. Brilliant.
I'm so glad I got this book for free, I would hate to think that I paid to read it. The work is glib and virtually non-sourced, even when plenty of source material is readily available, the effort of compiling a bibliography or doing any real research apparently being too much to expect. There is no aspect of life that the authors cannot handily define in terms of class or race struggle. It must be very comforting for the target audience to know that they need never be held accountable for any aspect of their lives since they are all the poor witless victims of greedy capitalists, shadow governments, mind control experts, "one percenters," and the like.
The shallow discussion (but this applies to every discussion in the book) of eugenics contains virtually no mention of abortion, excepting briefly in the context of "forced abortions," (another vague, non-sourced reference) since voluntary abortions evidently do not count. Must keep things satisfactorily P.C., you understand. Likewise there is no mention of racist uber-eugenicist Margaret Sanger or Planned Parenthood, or the significant influence of Darwinian theory on said movement. Nietzsche, Roosevelt, and H.G. Wells could likewise be invoked but, of course, were not. How about Thomas Malthus? Nope. How about Stanford University Professor Paul Ehrlich (author of The Population Bomb) and close ally of Obama "Science Czar" John Holdren? Hardly.
"...society has no business to permit degenerates to reproduce their kind. It is really extraordinary that our people refuse to apply to human beings such elementary knowledge as every successful farmer is obliged to apply to his own stock breeding." T. Roosevelt letter to C. Davenport, 1913.
To be fair, the authors finally discuss elitist obsession with world population control in the epilogue (though it belongs in the eugenics section) but fail to flesh out the discussion or follow it as they should. Racism is once again invoked as the primary Malthusian motivation, the only conclusion the Pavlovian postmodernist is capable of reaching.
Relative to the discussion of super-rich "one percent" cabalists, certain names go strangely unmentioned. Al Gore, Warren Buffet, George Soros, The Kennedy's, etc. JFK and RFK are only mentioned in the context of saintly martyrdom and secular holiness. Dynastic "Camelot" is ignored.
Obama critics are again tarred with the "racist" smear, though the writers do force themselves to offer some extremely mild, if vague, criticism themselves, no doubt in the self-conscious interest of "balance." Obama's name is circumspectly avoided by the authors, referring only the the "American administration" or "the government" in those uncomfortable moments he should be indicted. The authors' ideological bent is clear.
The authors seem obsessed with Nazism while largely giving communists a pass. As far as the reader knows, there are no conspiracy theories surrounding communists, thus Stalin, Lenin, Pol Pot, Mao, go unmentioned. Hugo Chavez is referred to as the victim of probable assassination (another martyr) and as the "perceived enemy of the West." The writers are apparently unable to recognize (or perhaps approve) actual fascism its modern-day context. The writers do disavow communism (though not Marxism) in the book, but one gets the feeling that it is a bit of a CYA to preempt the inevitable conclusion to which the reader is rationally led.
Finally, the writers have a bugaboo about capitalism and actually posit that our modern economic woes are due to "the mad pursuit of profits at all costs" (this should sound very familiar) virtually absent sufficient "regulation." Sorry, but anyone who looks at America in the age of the government takeover of everything from education to the auto industry, banks, mortgages, Solydra, bailouts, 17 trillion dollar debt, asset forfeiture, Operation Choke point, etc, and views businesses as the beneficiaries of "an almost total lack of regulation" is deaf, dumb, and blind, ideologically speaking. Capitalists can't force you to do one stinking thing. Force is the province of criminals and government. The authors are proponents of "plenty to go around" thinking. Not that one should be required to DO anything, mind you. Just sit passively while things "go around" in the interest of "fairness."
For the most part (I do allow for some grains of truth, say on the order of 15-20 percent) the book is a collection of reductionist nonsense for the simple-minded, although it does provide some mildly entertaining insight into conspiracy-addled thought, such as it is. A more serious treatment would lend credence where credence is warranted, but "The Orphan Conspiracies" detracts from, rather than adds to, credible discussion. Keep it shadowy, comrades!
