About the author

Mehta was born in Mahuva near Bhavnagar, Gujarat on 25 May 1928. He completed his school education from M. N. Highschool in Mahuva.

He studied till inter Arts. He married on 10 February 1953 in Matunga, Mumbai.He served as an editor of Gujarati weekly, Chitralekha, from 1958 to 1998.

He died on 3 April 1998 in Mumbai following heart attack

હરકિશન મહેતા આ નામ જ કાફી છે , આ નવલકથા વાંચવા માટે.


તેમની લેખનશૈલી આપણને જ્યારે મૂવી જોતા હોઈએ તેવી અનુભૂતિ કરાવે , જાણે એક એક દૃશ્ય આપણી સમક્ષ ભજવાઈ રહ્યું છે એવું આપણને લાગે.


આપણે એક સૂમસામ રસ્તા પર જતા હોઈએ અને અચાનક એક પ્રેત આપણી કાર ની પાછળ ની સીટ પર આવીને બેસી જાય , આ કલ્પના પણ રૂવાંડા ઊભા કરી દે છે , જ્યારે લેખક મહોદયે આ જ ઘટનાનો ઉપયોગ કરીને લખી એક મર્ડર મિસ્ટ્રી.


ખૂબ સરસ લેખન અને બધા દૃશ્યો ખૂબ સરસ રીતે લખાયા છે.


જે રીતે સન્યાસી ની વાત લખી છે હેટ્સ ઓફ હરકિશન મહેતા..


હવે આ વાંચશો તો જ મજા આવશે અને સાથે સાથે વિચારતા રહેજો કે ખૂની કોણ હોઈ શકે.

Wanted to read some nice novel in Gujarati. Searched something found out the author Harkisan Mehta.
It's fiction, suspense novel.
Doesn't bore and ties you to the book until you finish the book. Well written.
If you love to read gujarati, this won't disappoint you.
