Rebecca Andrews knew she was lucky to be hired as a private nurse for an elderly lady who was going on a one-month trip aboard a luxury cruise ship. But there was one big problem. The client was the grandmother of her ex-boyfriend--the guy she was still in love with, the guy who didn't love her back.

Zach Carmichael couldn't say no to his grandmother's plea to join her on a month-long cruise for her eightieth birthday. But he didn't expect his spritely gran to bring two private nurses with her. One of them happened to be the woman who'd broken his heart--the one he believed lied to him about her feelings.

Aboard a luxury liner, their passion for each other flared again. Was it just a temporary flame brought about by the romance of being on a cruise? How could they give love another chance when they were both afraid to put their hearts back on the line?

Miranda P. Charles writes swoonworthy, stirring, and steamy contemporary romance novels with oh-so-sweet heroes and strong heroines.

She prefers to spend her time in front of her laptop, putting into words the love stories that play in her head. Don't get her started with reading a great book, though, because she tends to not put it down until she gets to the last page even if she loses sleep.

She does have a life outside of books. Mostly, that consists of bonding with family and friends or going on romantic trips with her awesome husband.

She lives in the beautiful city of Sydney, Australia.

Received Arc from author for honest review!

Honestly in my opinion Miranda Charles delivers another wonderful book!

Rebecca Andrews is a private nurse who along with her coworker and freind Sarah are asked to accompny Magda Charmicheals on a month long cruise to celebrate her eightieth birthday, a salary and all expenses paid. So Why not jump at it? Well , Magda is the grandmother of her last boyfriend Zach , who is the CEO of Charmicichael industries; they met and started seeing each other almost a year ago when Magda took a fall and needed nurses while re- cooling from hip replacement surgery . There short four month relationship being ended by Rebecca , she fell head over heels in love with Zach , but he could not reciprocate . Zach said he needed it to be sure before he said he loved her. Rebecca felt it best to end it before her heart became anymore entangled.

Rebecca has not been able to truly move on,but agrees to go on the cruise figuring she will not Run into Zach since he is such a work-a- holic he will not take a month to cruise! Turns out she had that wrong!

Zac Agrees to travel with his grandmother setting business appointments up along the way and working from his cabin, he loves his grandmother and would do anything for her but seeing the women he let get away because he was to stupid to recognize at the time he loved her is difficult . His brothers did not make it easy in the past for him to go after her they thought she was a gold digger , talked him out of finding her and telling her how he felt.

Can they travel and not become involved? Can they stop the cycle of misunderstandings and falsehoods? Hearts are still involved , can they tell each other the truth?

So many questions, so many lovely scenes, with just as many equally frustrating scenes and a little nod to a past book! Secret moves which was Rebecca's brother Trey's story, do not worry you can read as a stand alone.

If your already a fan don't miss this one , if not this a great book to start with!

This is a contemporary romance that is a series, but could be read as a stand alone. Anyone whom appreciates a true love story, well this is the book for you. This book was an attention grabber, pulling you in from the start. Miranda P. Charles has made sure you felt every possible emotion throughout this novel.

This novel is about Rebecca Andrews whom is a private nurse, she was hired by an elderly woman to travel with her on a month long cruise for precautionary reasons. The down side for Rebecca is her clients grandson Zach is also joining them. He is her ex whom Rebecca is still in love with, the one who didnt return her love.

Zach Carmicheal was weak when it came to his grandmother, he could not refuse her. So he agreed to go on the cruise with her. Only to find out she is bringing two private nurses with her. One of them is the girl whom broke his heart, the one whom he believes deceived him about her feelings.

On the ship, they find they still share hot, passionate feelings for each other. Was it because they were on a romantic cruise? How could this love survive when they both are scared to have their heart broken.. again?

favorite passages:

"Its all about moving forward to find our happily ever after."
"He gave himself mental slaps on the face for his ridiculous slip."
"That wasn't good for her system, which was already going haywire just from being so close to him."
"Look at it. Just look at it."
"He could now understand why some great men in history has lost battles because of women."
" That was the worst cheesy line I've ever heard in my entire life."
"Don't be, I miss them. Terribly. But I'd rather people still talk to me about them because that means they haven't been forgotten" <3
"They kissed deeply, passionately, publicly."

Like all of Ms Charles’ books this follows the same group of people, this time it is about Trey Andrew’s (main character from Secret Moves) sister Rebecca.

Rebecca is a private nurse and has been hired for the second time by an elderly lady to go on a month long cruise. What Rebecca was unaware of was that The ladies grandson, Zach Carmichael was accompanying her on the cruise. 7 months before hand they had been in a relationship but after Zach asked for time to be able to say ‘I love you’ Rebecca broke things off.

Like many of Ms Charles books there are misunderstandings galore and both parties fail to communicate with one another properly but what would a romance novel concerning rich men be without this!!

I loved Zach and Rebecca and the chemistry that they had was one that all of us wish for. I know I sound like a broken record when I say that I think that the books from this author get better and better each book that she brings out, but they really do!!

Oh and did I mention that Zach happens to have 2 brothers? At the end of the book it was set up for the sequel that is coming out in the next few months. I love this author and all her works and can recommend them for a light steamy read. I for one cannot wait for the next story and to find out what is going on with past couples I fell in love with.

Please note I was given a copy of this review in exchange for an honest review.

Honest review:
Rebecca was a nurse for Magda Carmichael during her surgery. During this time, she fell in love with Magda's oldest grandson, Zach. She thought it was mutual and told him. But soon found out, it wasn't and was crushed.
Zach did not try to convince Bec that he wanted her back as he thought she was using him for his money and was two timing him.
She left and went about her life for months only to be re-hired by Magda to go on a cruise as a nurse with Magda again, believing that Zach would not be going.
Zach was going on the cruise with no idea that Bec was going as a nurse.
As always, Miranda has us going round and round with the he said she said and the truth that no one heard or bother to ask about until it was too late. And we all love it.
This cruise is 4 weeks long and it is very taxing on ALL members in this larger than life party. It is Magda's 80 birthday party afterall. Zach will be joined by both his younger brothers who both believe he was wronged as well.
Between all the friends for the party and outside sources these two are doomed before they step on the ship.
But Magda will not let that happen.
What a wonderful book as always by Miranda.
I can't wait for the next one.

Such a waste of time ....

My first impression if Rebecca is that she's a pathetic woman.
Seriously, Zach is an idiot but I thi j Rebecca is more. How much times do you need to get hurt in order to see that??? I swear she's like oblivious to it. She's attracted to him. Doesn't want. To get hurt again and all that bullshit for a minute then she's not. She goes back to him in a snap. So stupid.

There was no chemistry. The sex is so... it's kinda dull and a bit redundant. She's too... eager to have him and he's adamant about keeping his word on proving to her that he's in it for the long run. His diffusion when they're both horny sucks. If I was Bec, I'd feel like he doesn't want me.

Even when they try to fix an issue she ends up suggesting "we can go back to your room" seriously it sounds so desperate.
"Suddenly, she couldn't remember why she'd been mad at him. Was what he did really so unforgivable that she'd let him suffer? She couldn't stand seeing him like that. Her heart couldn't take it." BASICALLY HER FEELINGS WHEN SAW HIM DISTRAUGHT AFTER SHE LEARNED HE BELIEVED WHATEVER PHILIP THE SLIME ACCUSED HER OF.

Frankly this book is pissing me the fuck off which sucks because the concept was great..

ARC provided by author in exchange for an honest review

This is the first time I have read a book by Miranda P. Charles and it will not be my last.

This book had it all - broken hearts, twisted stories, lies, scared and confused lovers. Zach and Rebecca met when she was hired as a private nurse for his grandmother after she had surgery. They dated for four months, until Rebecca said the three little words that Zach could not say back. Rebecca then breaks it off before he has a chance to.

Months later, she has been hired again to join his grandmother on a month long cruise for her birthday, as her nurse. His grandmother also has friends and her grandsons joining her for this birthday celebration. As they cruise around, can Rebecca and Zach work through their fears and misunderstandings to find love again?

A very sexy, quick read that you will not be able to put down!!!

Love this book.

Love this book. It is the first book that I had read from this author. Rebecca and Sarah get a fun job going along as nurses for a lady that they helped during rehab on a month long cruise. That would be an awesome job. Rebecca and Sarah are so fun. They happen to be on this trip with Rebecca's former love Zach. The ups and downs of their meetings and relationship is funny and sometimes sad. They work so well together being stuck on the cruise for the month. Magda the client who is the grandma of Zach is so fun to be with also. Love the characters in this book. Can't wait to read Sarah's story.

There is nothing like the power of Forever love!

First, I have to say that Miranda is a 'new-to-me' author & I absolutely love her writing style!! Forever is a nice, light, enjoyable read, which is exactly what I needed! I sat down, read it from start to finish, without pause, not even realizing it, until I was at the end. :) Then she completes it with a nice teaser for the next book & I CANNOT wait!! I look forward to reading much more from Miranda P. Charles!

Only 2 Stars. Repetitious. Even the love scenes lacked creativity. I could recite each one back right now as easily as I can say my alphabet. Except, this story was so dull, I doubt I'll remember it tomorrow. :(

Lately I have been reading Miranda P Charles and she writes feel good romance novels. It has always made me want to read more and more. Unfortunately the same can't be said of this novel. It's probably cos I didn't like the characters. The female protagonist was just so insecure that it got annoying & she would get swayed so easily by male protagonist. And the male lead was just a bit better.

I love this author and 10+ years ago I remember being excited to preorder this book. It is still good but the whole he believed the worst because he could with zero double check but also he is trusted to run a giant company is a bit of a reach now. I do like his grandmothers caring nurse meets billionaire as a nice trope.

Engaging read.

A predictable romance with a few twists to keep it engaging. The characters needed a bit more development and more back story would have been interesting to read.

This is a good in between story. It’s light and fun and has a couple good sexy scenes.

Rebecca was in for a surprise as she joined her client on board a cruise ship for a month long working vacation. She is there to take care of the grandmother of her sexy multimillionaire ex-boyfriend.

What she wasn’t really expecting was for him, Zach Carmichael, to join in on the trip. Now she has to spend the next month trying to stay away from him because she knows that the second they are alone…she wont be able to keep her hands off of him.

And that is a very bad thing…

See 4 months ago, when they broke up, it shattered her. She actually dumped him because he couldn’t quite return her true feelings for him. Not only that…he usually has an expiration date on his affairs. So before he could get the chance, she ended it and it shattered her to the core.

Zach has a reputation to protect as CEO of the family business he needs to keep his private life…well very private. He cannot risk being in the tabloids and gossiped about. Their family has been through enough in the last few years and so when it comes to “love”…well he just doesn’t do it. That is until Rebecca…his Bec.

The only girl who he thought he could love, crushed him four months ago when she broke things off because he needed more time to think through his feelings. He was devastated but it opened his eyes and he finally saw what he had with Bec was the real deal…

Or so he thought…

The thing about being in an influential family, people will take advantage of you however they can. So when he finds out some disheartening information about Rebecca he knew he could never be with her again.

But with an eighty year old grandma who is to wise beyond her years at the helm of everything, will they be able to find their way back to each other before more damage can be done?

Overall I liked this story and it was well written. I loved all the characters and the next book that comes out is about Rebecca’s friend Sarah and Zach’s brother Jeff. I’m excited to read that one too.

My only negative was that almost all of their issues revolved around misunderstandings or miscommunications. Without those there really wouldn't have been much of a storyline.

Like I said before, this is a good go between story, lighter and more fun. Nothing heavy or heartbreaking and I need stories like this sometimes.

"I love you."

It takes a fair amount of bravery to announce your sentiment for someone else because these three words can either scare the receiver to death or compel them to say the same. The hope is the feelings are mutual and you will hear "I love you" in return. But the flip-side is, it doesn't always happen that way.

Rebecca's declaration of love left Zach speechless enough for her to believe he didn't feel the same. It took seven months of separation for him to realize he did feel the same and it took just as long for him to say it. The problem: their relationship was non-existent and might be irreparable at that point.

There are plenty of highs and lows in this story as Zach and Rebecca try to move on--with or without each other--after meeting again after so many months apart. They circled round and round with their emotions and hearts carefully guarded until they reached a place where they were fairly open with one another. Well, more open than before.

Still, secrets lay between them and happiness, secrets that eventually came to light and not in the most tactful way possible. Perhaps the tactless revelation could have been avoided if Zach had been more honest with Rebecca. I mean, he knew her secret (which wasn't a secret at all) and still he chose to hide things from her? *tsk* I wanted to slap him for his reluctance.

I enjoyed this story. It moved a little quick for me, and there were moments when I thought emotions were lacking, but I liked watching Zach and Rebecca work through their issues. Ms. Charles wrote a very sweet love story that not only shows a couple falling in love again but is a good opening to her "Time for Love" series.

Book was provided to me by the author. Here is my honest review.

In the first few pages of the book it was a bit slow but with any book I find that we are thrown a lot of information about who the characters are. A brief overview we meet Rebecca who is a private nurse of Magda Carmichaels a wealthy old lady. We then manage to learn that Becca had a relationship with Magda grandson Zach. Magda decides for her birthday she would rather board a ship than spend her birthday on land. She invites Becca and Sarah (who is Becca’s close friend).
Becca is on the fence about going because she is not sure if Zach is going to make an appearance. Me personally I think Becca should of not cared if she saw Zach. Sarah mentions to Becca it is a free trip and were on big boat with lots of hot men.

The story started to move pretty fast once they board the ship. It has been 7 months since the break up of Becca and Zach. Both of them feel like they did not get proper closure.
Lots of twist and turns about these two. I was thrown for a loop when Zach had a P.I check into Becca background. I wanted to know who the mystery guy was and how he was linked with Becca. We later find out who he is and I found myself sighing with relief.

If felt that Becca and Zach had poor communication. They could not tell each other how they really feel. Both of them would jump to conclusions instead of talking to each other.

Magda was a hoot in this book. She was a very active lady for her age. She made me laugh and we knew that Magda had set up this sea in motion. She wanted her grandson to be happy.

We did get a happy ending but once the book was over I was left wanting more. I found myself saying “that is it? Really?”

Over all I enjoy this book and thought it was well written.

Rebecca wants to go on the cruise with one of her elderly clients to help her out but she isn't looking forward to seeing the man who broke her heart. Rebecca and Zach dated in secret months ago and now she will have to see him as he is the clients grandson. She decides it will do her god to get him out of her head so she agrees to go. Zach loved Rebecca but couldn't trust her enough tot tell her. He then hears stories about her and now he doesn't know whether to believe she did love him or if she is a gold digger. On the cruise they begin to work some things out but some people can't stop telling lies. Can they move past what others are saying, get to the bottom of the truth and learn to trust and love each other again.

really liked this story as right away you see the bond Rebecca has with her friends and the pact they all made. She is a very caring person and would risk getting her heart broke again to help a client she loves. She gave her heart to Zach and he broke it months ago. She is afraid he will break her heart but she is willing to give him another chance. Zach is a hard working guy who loves his grandmother and cares for Rebecca. He has issues trusting and believing her. At times he pulls her to him then he is pushing her away. While I can understand why he would have those thoughts he did at times get on my nerves. I wanted him to quit listening to others and open his eyes. It was nice to see him get jealous a few times. The story has several very hot scenes and I enjoyed most of the characters except Phillip he just gave me the creeps. I look forward to reading more about Sarah and more books by this author.

Posted on What I'm Reading

When I started Forever, I was thinking what did I get myself into. The first few pages were a little slow, but once they were on the cruise ship things started to progress a bit more rapidly. I have to say that I'm happy about that.

Anyway, we have two former lovers, Rebecca and Zach, who ended their relationship a bit prematurely. Of course, it all stems from a huge misunderstanding. Huge would be understatement, more like explosive. Both parties had hurt feelings, and instead of trying to figure it out like rational adults they figured that living with hurt would be better. However, when is love ever rational. Most of the time feelings are muddle when love plays a role in a misunderstanding. Fortunately, they were able to workout their problems while on the cruise.

I liked Forever. I love the idea of this new series that these friends have made New Years resolution to find time for love. So, there will be five books and I enjoyed this one I'm kind of excited for the next book. As you are aware Rebecca and Zach are the first to find time for love. The misunderstanding was a huge part of the story, and at times I was a little worry they wouldn't reconcile. Plus, they had other people working against them. Overall, I was pleased with how the story worked out. So, if you are looking for a get away, you might consider Forever.

Forever by Miranda P. Charles is the first book in her Time For Love series and focuses on Rebecca Andrews and Zach Carmichael.

Rebecca takes a job as a private nurse for the elderly Mrs. Carmichael. The job entails accompanying Mrs Carmichael on a month long cruise to celebrate her eightieth birthday. The wonderful Mrs. Carmichael is also grandmother to Rebecca's ex that she is still not over, but as he is a workaholic she believes she's in the clear. There's no way he'll take a whole month off for a cruise, right? Wrong. He dotes on his grandmother and when she asks him to accompany her he can't say no.

Now faced with a month together in close quarters the reasons behind their break up resurface. He thinks she lied to him, she believes he never really cared. Even after he realized how he felt, his close friends and family (NOT grandma) convinced him she was a gold-digger so he never went after her. Oh how painful these misunderstandings can be for a reader, when all you want to do is just knock their heads together and demand they figure it out, tout suite.

With a happily ever after ending, you intuitively know they'll get there but the journey of angst and misdirection is the fun part. I am excited to read more from this author in the future.

I received this book from the author in exchange for a honest review.

My thoughts: The plot kept me interested throughout the book. The secondary characters added to the storyline. There was a lot of misunderstandings between the hero and the heroine. This does not bother me so it did not affect my enjoyment of the book. I did think the heroine at times was too quick to forgive the hero. She should have made him grovel more.

The story: Rebecca(heroine) and her friend Sarah are private nurses. They have just been hired by Magda Charmichael(a former client) to accompany her on her birthday cruise. Rebecca was reluctant to accept because she is worried Zach(Magda's grandson)might be on the cruise. Rebecca broke up with him seven months ago after she thought he did not love her.

Rebecca and her friend board the ship and she finds our Zach will be one the ship for the entire cruise. Shortly into the cruise, Zach questions her about some lingering questions he has about her. She denies his accusations. (Phillip(an acquaintance) told Zach he had seen Rebecca embracing a married man. Zach believes this too quickly. Zach believes that she was two-timing him the whole time they were together.) On the other hand, Rebecca is sad that shortly after she left him he was already dating. Misunderstanding abound until finally they both learn to trust each other.

Overall, a good second chance at love romance.

(This book is for adults only. It contains hot sexual content.)

*****

Each book in the Time for Love series is a strong stand-alone novel that would give you enjoyment on its own. To fully enjoy the series, however, the author recommends reading them in order.

Book 1: Forever (Rebecca Andrews and Zach Carmichael)

Book 2: Finally (Sarah Daley and Jeff Carmichael)

Book 3: Again (Amanda Payne and Connor Reid)

Book 4: Always (Brenna Ward and Ash Payne)

Book 5: At Last (Gemma Aldwyn and Greg Carmichael

I love to read the books of Miranda, the stories are great and easy to read. You have everything, jealousy, misunderstandings but most of all forever love.

Rebecca leaves Zach after she’s told him that she loves him but he hadn’t been able to say the same words back to her. She gotten scared and was convinced that Zach would dump her after six months since that was him ammo.

Zach still could get over the fact that Rebecca has dumped him after telling him that she loved him. He was not the guy for a long term relationship but somehow Rebecca had captured his hart. So why couldn’t he say the words back to her? He needed to make sure that she was the woman for a long-term relationship before he said it. But after being dumped he started to realize that he loved her.

Now after several months their paths cross again since Rebecca and Sarah are hired as a private nurses for the grandmother of Zach, she wants to have them with her on a one month trip aboard a luxury cruise ship in case of health problems.

This is not an easy task for both since they still love each other even when Zach thinks that Rebecca has an affair with a married man and Rebecca thinks it didn't take him long to replace her with Miss Universe-Australia.

The truth will come out and maybe they have a chance to rekindle their love.

Rebecca is given a work opportuinity she can't refuse. Go on a month long cruise just in case her elderly client needs anything. Should be a no brainer right except the sweet old lady who she cared for months ago when she had a hip replacement wasn't the only person in the house she interacted with.

Zachary fell for the beautiful nurse taking care of his grandma, but when she told him her feelings he froze and then broke up with him. Afterwards rumors and misunderstanding kept him from going back to her and telling her how he really felt. Now stuck on a ship together for a month they have the chane to clear the air. Can he ever undo the hurt he caused Bec when all the truths are on the table can these two find a way to overcome them and be together?

Rebecca was hurt by what he did but she's trying to move on unfortunately when she's around him she becomes weak and allows him to run all over her. Zach is a dominate guy but between his work and brothers he's doesn't spend allot of time enjoying life and he ended up not trusting his gut when it came to Bec and it could have ruined them is she weren't so forgiving. He seemed like a good guy just a distracted one. I would've loved to see more of them interacting during the story and a little more depth to the characters.
