The Beast #3

Little Dove

Rate this book
How can you ever hope to find normal when your life is anything but?

Determined to make amends for his past, and show Columbia he truly is a changed man, Dimitri sets out to right wrongs and decimate those who bring nothing but sorrow to the world.

Something goes wrong and Columbia is taken, spirited away into the underground world of sex trafficking and international crime syndicates.

Dimitri must fight his way across the Europe to find her and bring her home. He would rather see the world burn than live without her in it.

He will tear the world apart looking for his little dove.

This is a tragic story exploring the consequences of daring to love in the midst of chaos and terror.

**Book Three in the Beast Series. Books one and two are already out.

****As with The Beast, this book contains graphic depictions of physical abuse, rough sex and dubious consent. It may contain triggers for several different reasons, so please read with caution. That being said, it is also a book filled with hope, love and light in the dark.

Usually I wait until I'm completely finished and have pushed "publish" to write my "review".

This one is different. I'm having SO MANY FEELINGS. :D But seriously, I'm somewhere near the end, but I'm paddling like mad and getting nowhere. I feel like I've gone through a bit of an emotional wringer.

I never know how people feel when they ready my stories, the books my characters force me to write down. I know I feel everything they do, I go through it with them. My family says I'm weird now that I'm writing, and I'm completely different with each book. But what do they know though? :D

I do know that this one is emotional, exhausting and...dare I say it..oh so very good.

I hope you treat them with kindness, I think you'll see after this story that they need it. We're all a little bruised.

She was his equal, his superior, his submissive, his beautiful little monster. She was his everything.

description

LITTLE DOVE takes us all over Europe!

description

We start with a prologue - remember that girl Ioana, who has been living with her boyfriend Boian - the leader of the Bucharest Underground - she was kidnapped and sold by sex traffickers? She's still being forced to do unimaginable things ... and she might cross paths with our Columbia - and there's another girl with connections to everybody else ☺
The story is told from Ioana's POV and of course from Dimi's and Columbia's.

description

The book starts with Dimi in Bucharest - he wants to right some wrongs. He wants to give some money to the son of a woman who helped him years ago.
And that boy is none other than Ioana's baby-daddy. But, he's too stubborn and proud - he doesn't want Dimi's money.

After Bucharest we're back in Malta - Dimi & Columbia & Nico live a relatively happy life in their island paradise - with the occasional threesome. ☺

But Sergei still needs to be found and killed!
And Columbia wants to be the one to do it.

Then there's Columbia's little sister Eden who's coming to visit ....

Rome

while the three of them take a little trip to Rome, she gets them all into all kinds of trouble....

Back in Malta Columbia finds out what kind of human-trafficking things Dimi had to do to survive his years with Sergei and she comes up with an idea: rid the world of all the scum who prey on innocent girls and boys.

But interfering in bad people's business is not something those bad people won't tolerate for too long....

WHAT WiLL HAPPEN TO COLUMBiA & DiMi?
WiLL THE TWO OF THEM GET THEiR HEA?
WiLL EVERYBODY DiE AT THE END?
WiLL THERE BE A HORRiBLE CLiFFHANGER? o.O

description

I'm not telling you that of course ☺

description

.....you just have to buy the book to find out ...
and please do!!!!! Because....

♥ I missed Dimi and Columbia and Nico and their special kind of love and life...

I really enjoyed reading LITTLE DOVE!
It's such a great, sweet, cute, adorable, sad , moving, very suspensy and EROTIC story...

Little Dove was more of a romantic suspense thriller than the first two books in the series - but I loved it - I couldn't stop reading. You HAVE to know what will happen - who will die or if anybody will die and what horrible things will be done to whom - ugh - it was really amazing.

Dimi is soo adorably sweet ☺ hehe - yep - the big bad russian killer with his killer-intern-girlfriend. But they're really perfect for each other!!

"He always knew what to say to her, to make her feel completely and utterly normal...in the best way possible."

They still need each other to heal. And to be able to live.

I REALLY LOVED THE BOOK ♥

Just like THE BEAST& PERFECTLY NORMAL, LITTLE DOVE was an amazing dark and erotic and suspenseful Love Story about 2 lost souls who are finally finding a way to make a life for themselves despite everything that happened in their pasts .... even if it's in a, for us unimaginable, way. For them it's perfect.

It might not be for everybody - it's violent and really dark and twisted - but those things really need to be in the book!!!! Just try it - but don't leave a horrible review because something in it is against your 'religion' ☺☺☺

I really hope there will be more!!!! It wasn't an open ending - but there are possiblilities!!!

5 "Little Dove" stars

OMG....this book has messed with my emotions so much that I'm still almost wordless a couple of hours after finishing it. Talk about a book hangover!!!This trilogy of books has easily become one of my favorites.

A little word of advice......if you do not like dark reads about kidnapping, abuse, rape, torture or human trafficking, this book is NOT for you. It contains all of these topics and at times, was hard to digest. But I applaude Mrs. Wilkes for bravely writing about these topics that do touch people all over the globe. She done a great job shedding light on these subjects.

This book picks right up after Book 2, Perfectly Normal. Colombia,Dimi and Nico(the Conceirge) are all 3 living in Malta continuing to train to take-down Sergei. Dimi and Colombia are deeply, soul twistingly in love with each other and are having steamy, hot sex everywhere they can.

angelina jolie and brad pitt photo: Brangelina Photos 10.jpg

All seems to be going well, until Eden, Colombia's sister comes for a visit. The three of them vacation to Rome where Eden is almost taken by traffickers. (On a side note, can I just voice what a little bitch Eden is??? Didn't like her at all. Granted, she's only 14, but she's a snotty little brat to Colombia and Dimi.) I digress, moving on......

After the kidnap attempt on Eden, Colombia wants to take down all of the kingpins in the underground world one by one. With Dimi at her side, they start taking them down.

angelina jolie and brad pitt photo: Brangelina Photos 21.jpg

All is going well until Colombia walks into a trap and is taken by traffickers herself. What transpires next is an emotionally draining experience for both Dimi and Colombia(and the reader). It is absolutely heartbreaking. Colombia is abused to point of losing her strength, her fight and eventually, herself. Dimi is lost without his "Little Dove" and fears he is turning back into the heartless "Enforcer" he was before he met her. He stops at nothing to retrieve her. When he finally does get to her, it is a painfully, agonizing journey for their souls to reunite. Some admissions are earth-shattering. But once again, they are able to find themselves in each other and heal. We are left with a HFN.

All along we have side characters woven into the story. Ioana, Iryna, and Boian added depth and storylines that were equally as interesting and at times, devastating.

During the epilogue, we had a shocking revelation that has me panting for the next book or series that might elaborate on that information.

This book was beautifully written. I felt every emotion they were going through. At times, it was difficult to get through, but so well worth it. I hope we get another book about Colombia and Dimi one day. I would love to see them married with a few children.

HOLY FREAKING SHIT!! This was the BEST book out of the entire series!!

This book had everything I was looking for from the previous books. EVERYTHING!!

Torture. Killing. Fighting. Dubious consent (although there was absolutely no doubt that most people would not be consenting to the madness!). Love. Devotion. Loyalty. More killing. More torture. Mercenaries. New alliances. Rocket launchers. New friendships. Just wonderful wonderful wonderful things.

I actually loved Columbia (finally!) in this book. She was freaking amazing. Girl could hold her own in a male dominated ?industry? Not sure what you would call it, but she did her thang. She still got a little too stuck in her head, but overall her character was stellar!

Dimitri. Dimi. Frig I loved this dude. All things Dimi were amazing as usual. His madness. His torture schemes. His freaking love, loyalty and devotion were off the freaking charts. This man could do absolutely no wrong in my eyes. I want a Dimitri in my life too dammit!

Honestly, I could list point for point why this book was incredible but I'm not going to ruin the plot for anyone. And I'm not going to take away from Jaden Wilkes' profits. She did an awesome job with writing this story and you need to do yourself a favour and freaking read it!

Enjoy! xo

We finally came to the apex of the Beast Series and WOW was it ever a fuck-fuckingtastic read!

I love how Columbia started from little dove to a freaking tigress, she is fierce and more crazier than ever! Columbia and Dimitri are the epitome of bad-ass assassins.

Some scenes in here are too graphic and too sad that I couldn't shake it off my system for a day or two. I have to admit it was hard reading some of the scenes in this book, Jaden wrote innately about some truths on human trafficking, and what a horrible and sick world it is for the women, men and children who were forced into this dark dark place.
I also wish as Jaden stated on her PSA for the people who was forced to live in this dark and twisted world come out and have their happy ending like the characters in her book.

Definitely the best of the beast series. I liked the other two in the series but this one was a dark roller coaster that made me hold my breath and not just from the sexy scenes! This one the darkness almost overtook me and I did catch myself reading with one of my hands covering my mouth. I did have to step away from this one a time or two because the emotional hold it had over me. However, I am waiting for book 4. This was my favourite of The Beast series.
I rated the first two books 4 stars because i found the constant accolades and sappiness a little off putting.

This book starts out that way and I understand that Dimitri and Columbia are in love, boardering on obsession, but what lifted this story from a 4 to a 5 was the introduction of Ioana's additional POV and the plot change. Adding more supporting characters, and more depth was a great move. As this story ended on a small cliffehanger, I hope there is another book, that develops more of the characters, and plot twists.

I appreciate the Public service Announcement by the author. It would do a disservice to the book, if nothing was mentioned about the reality of human trafficking and sexual slavery.

This story is dark, gritty, and very uncomfortable. This is the type of story that moves me. Jayden Wilkes did a great job of showing the reality of sexual slavery and the evil that is behind it.
It also shows hope, and the desire to change the world, one step at a time.

I almost gave up on the series after book 2, but I am happy to say, I will be waiting for a book 4, to see how this couple heals, and continues their crusade (and the small issue of 'The Trader').

It's difficult to put into words how powerul this book is. The subject content is extremely difficult to read about. Human trafficking is no joke and Jaden does and AMAZING job at not only telling a fictional story, but shedding light in a respectful way on an absolutely horrible thing that happens in our world.

Little Dove picks up where Perfectly Normal left off. Dimi, Columbia and The Concierge are living in Malta, training and planning for the day they take down Dimi's former boss and mentor. They stumble upon something much bigger when Columbia's little sister is almost taken by traffickers.

Columbia wants to take down the men behind the horrible underground world. But something goes terribly wrong, and the hunter becomes the hunted.

Dimitri stops at nothing to get her back.

This book is full of the powerful love between Dimitri and Columbia. It's also extremely difficult to read certain scenes. Some of them are very graphic, and sadly, you know that they actually happen to people around the globe.

We are introduced to new characters, ones from Dimi's past. Some are good people, some not such good people, but it brings the series full circle. There is also a bit of a cliffhanger in the epilogue and I'm DYING for her to release the next book because I can't wait to see where and how she takes it.

I highly recommend this book, this entire series, but it is NOT for the faint of heart. If you have ANY trigger issues, you should pass this up.

"I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads."

This is the third in the series, and I have loved them all. That said, I had to psyche myself up to start Little Dove, as these are dark, painful, violent stories. They are also brilliant, and reveal layers of humanity to their characters, but from a comfy chair, they make for difficult reading. Now I know the story, I will read it again, with a little less angst, but first time round, it is nail-biting stuff (and I don't bite my nails!). I'm not going to reveal even the slightest bit of the story, but be assured it is another excellent tale.

The writing is good, the tension superb, and the plot suspenseful. At the same time, it is deeply caring, loving and sexy. Dimi, Columbia, and Nico are all people that we have been given great access to - we know their dark sides, their fears and their limits - so what hurts them, hurts the reader too. It makes for an exhausting, but meaningful journey. I am both spent, and exultant.

Thank you Ms Wilkes for another stunning read.

Once again Jaden you nailed it!!!

Loved this book, I was shocked that I actually got a little teary eyed at some parts, but man was it good! Once again there is so much hottest between Columbia and Dimitri and they are on a mission. Things go wrong and it is up to Dimitri to fix things and find his little dove. I loved the introduction to new characters and I can’t wait to see what happens next. This was an emotional book but it was so good and it just proves that there is always hope.

Characters: The characters were well written and believable.

Sex: holy crap! In true Jaden style you will need to change your panties

Religious: no

Would I recommend to others: yes

More than one book in the series: yes

Genre: Dark Romance

Would I read more by this author: yes

Omg it just keeps getting worse!

I thought ok I can deal with Columbia being taken, she'll get through this. Then she admits she's pregnant and I was like shiiiiitttt, this is not going to turn out well. I felt like crying for her when she lost it after a brutal attack.

I was glad at the end she finally told Dimi about losing the baby so they both could move forward.

I was very upset after Ioana went through all that shit for her to lose her child giving birth after she was freed and back with her love. Then when she was holding her dead child to her check to hear him breath. Was so happy her wasn't dead.

But OMG, Dimi's brother turning up? Spanner in the works much? Can't wait to see how this turns out.

Review for Little Dove by Jaden Wilkes

Little Dove is the third book in Jaden Wilkes The Beast Series — this is not a stand-alone so you will want to read the first two books prior to this one; it is also a dark erotica so if you are a prude and have problems with reading things that make the average person uncomfortable then you should probably go and buy a Carey Heywood book because she writes fantastically emotional soft romance.

I have one thing to say before I get this review started. Dimi is mine so hands off whores — I’m fictionally married to him so no funny stuff.

“She was his equal…”

Columbia has come so far from the young girl she was when she first stumbled into the hands of Dimitri; from frail victim to a vicious monster to equal that of her Dimi.

“…his superior…”

Constantly pushing Dimi and testing him in ways he never thought. She was fierce in her desires meeting him with a ferocity that amazed and excited him.

“…his submissive…”

There was a feral hunger inside her that demanded every dark passionate desire Dimitri had to give. They were raw, rough, primal, tender in their mutual desire to hurt. She fed his need to dominate and he slaked her need to lose control.

“…his beautiful little monster.”

Unable to deny her anything Dimitri was proud of his little dove and her desire to save the innocents — especially after her sister was almost stolen away into a life of slavery. Her need for blood and his need to please her led them into the darkest parts of the world. Everything was put at risk. Everything was stolen away in a moment.

“She was his everything.”

Dimitri was The Enforcer and now? Now he is Columbia’s Beast. Everything about the man is savage. There isn’t one thing in the world that he cannot have if he desires it to be so, money talks and he has a never-ending supply. The one thing his money couldn’t protect was the one thing he desired to protect over all else.

This book is phenomenal. An absolute perfect end to one of the best dark series out there. From the strength and passion in Columbia to the fierce dominance of Dimitri you’ll find yourself completely swept away into their world. The storyline brings the Epilogue of book two into clarity in a crazy twist of fate. Wilkes used everything in her creative powers to twist the characters lives in such a way that everything culminated to one final moment of epic proportions. I love, love when authors manage to make pieces fall together while keeping the main players in the book oblivious to how interconnected things truly are.

Dimi and his little dove have some of the hottest freaking smut scenes of any book, hands down. They are so passionate together. Making love is a term that I would never, ever use to describe what they do. He dominates her with violence in his hands and adoration in his eyes. Such a beautiful contradiction. I love how insatiable the pair are, no matter how many times they lose themselves in each other it’s never enough. Always desperate to devour. Dimi could win awards with the way he dirty talks; I would totally quote at least a dozen things that will make your panties melt right off, but since amazon would cause me to *%#@ every other word I fear the hotness will be lost in translation.. so you’ll just have to read the book to experience the dirty, dirty mouth of this dark and twisty BBF.

“I never knew how twisted my beauty was until I met you.”

Little Dove is a FIVE PLUS star read for any and all dark erotica lovers out there. Even with a few bumps in the storyline that left my desire for non-fictional facts to be accurate everything else was so strong that I could forgive just about anything with this book. My smut factor rating blows five drenched panties so far out of the water I don’t even have a rating that is sufficient, so I’m leaving it with a sofa king hot rating. Beware, not only will this read make you hot in your pants, but it will also leave you emotionally raw, shredded, and overwhelmed. A certified Mommy’s a Book Whore MUST READ NOW. Go one-click the hell out of this book if you’ve read the first two or the entire series if you haven’t. Dimi and little dove won’t disappoint.

Wow, it has taken me two days since finishing this story to even form a few words about how I feel. The top words that keep coming to my mind are amazing, awesome, intense, emotional, raw and twisted. I am a huge fan of the dark and twisted reads, to see the worst in humans battle against the best but this book took it to a whole new level of mind F’ing because I found myself wanting the dark side of Columbia and Dimitri to power through while hanging on to the good side they had finally found in each other.
I won’t spoil this dramatic read for you. It is the third book to this series and you MUST read the first two so you can not only understand what is going on but so you can totally encompass what you are reading. The struggle that has gotten Columbia and Dimitri to this point in life, why hanging on to the people they are today is so important. Their life has been a struggle from day one and just when they think they are on the edge to happiness, life throws them a new batch of demons to deal with.
The author also gave us the story of other characters that have also felt their share of heartache and are seeking revenge. I pray that there will be spin offs and more books coming about Boian, Ioana and Iryna. Just as I am not even close to being finished with Dimitri and Columbia, I crave more about those three and what happens to them.
Little Dove for me was a story about losing your soul to someone who loves you for the first time and experiencing acceptance and forgiveness. To see past the mistakes and deeds that had been done in the past and allowing them to make amends for the damage they have caused others. To risk your own life in order to preserve the life of someone you love. For a person to try and find humanity and kindness in a world that has made you so jaded you can’t even stand to look at yourself. These people are broken but not always by their own choices. Human trafficking not only shatters the victims but we see the damage it does to those forced into the business. To survive one must shut off your emotions and close your heart, but to love and be loved, you have to open those avenues up and risk being hurt. Jaden shows us how even the most damaged of humans can find ways past the flashbacks and nightmares and feel the sensual touch of a lover gain, to feel the power of trusting another with your mind, body and soul. She paints a very powerful picture of survival in this book, inspiring the reader to never give in to fear.
I admit, I sat on my sofa reading, moving to the edge of my seat, bent over and gripping the kindle with white knuckles a few times. When the kindle died because I wasn’t paying attention to the power level I instantly went for my app on the phone and by the end of the book I was sobbing and shaking. My husband looked at me and panicked thinking I had just received some horrible news on my phone only to find out my heart was breaking and I was an emotional wreck because of this book. Yes that is a sign of a five star book for me, when I get so emotionally invested in the story I have to sit for a while and cry and just recover from what I have read. This is what Jaden Wilkes does to the reader, she slowly engages you with characters that are captivating and then when you least expect it she rips your heart out and twists it into a condition that you are not sure you will ever recover from, only to hand it back to you with a ray of sunshine. I recently found out about Jaden in a group that I had joined and I can tell you I am going to be finding more of her books ASAP because the ride she takes you on is epic.

Little Dove (Beast series #3)
By: Jaden Wilkes
5/5 stars

This book is longer than both of the first two books. But there isn’t any part that I would cut out. I have love Dimitri and Columbia for a long time. They have changed each other into better versions of themselves, they now realize that there is more to life and it is worth living as long as they have each other. Nico, the trusted concierge is still with them, and also a part of them as they are a part of him. They have grown leaps and bounds as individuals, as a couple and as a team of three since the first book. And Dimi feels as though he needs to make amends for his past offenses committed when he was simply known as “Enforcer.”

Boian & Ioana, the couple that we were introduced to in the epilogue of book 2, Perfectly Normal, are also in this book and have a “long lost” connection to Dimi. We know that Ioana was pregnant and decided to leave Boian and return home to her village because she was pregnant and knew that she couldn’t raise a kid while living in the tunnels under the city.

After taking down Sergei, they decide to try to dismantle at least the sex-trafficking side of his business. But during a hunt, something goes terribly wrong and Columbia is taken by the sex traffickers. Dimitri is lost without her, she is lost without him, and Nico feels the loss of both of their hearts quite deeply. Dimitri is not going to give up looking for her. He will spend all the money he has, use every contact he has and if he must, he will burn down the world trying to get his Little Dove back.

During her captivity, there are such atrocities committed against all the sex slaves that are being kept, you will feel righteous anger to the point that you’ll want to commit vigilante justice. But not all harm that they inflict is sexual. The prisoners suffer physical harm and psychological harm. But the only thing that keeps Columbia from giving up is hope that Dimitri is coming for her, the love that she has for Dimi & he for her and a new friend (who has a connection to this story).

There will be another book coming. The ending wasn’t a cliffhanger, but it was an interesting attention grabber that lets us know that the story isn’t over. I’m glad that it’s not over yet, I think there is still more to be solved between our main characters, their trusted friends and family and their self-appointed vigilantism.

It was in the wee hours of yesterday morning that I finished the third book in The Beast saga entitled Little Dove by Jaden Wilkes. At the end of the second installment, Ms. Wilkes led me down a rabbit hole with an epilogue that seemingly had nothing to do with the love and the story of Dimitri and Columbia. I had no idea at the time where she was leading me with the introduction of such random characters in a story that I loved, but I trusted her and followed cautiously and was not at all disappointed.

In this third, hopefully not the last, of The Beast saga, Dimitri and Columbia are blissfully enjoying their lives together and the boogie man in their dreams has finally been eliminated. All seems well until Columbia’s fast-tailed little sister Eden, comes to visit and is caught in a compromising position and is on the verge of being stolen away in the night into the ugly world of human trafficking. But luckily for her, she has a sister with a certain set of skills who rescues her and finally talks some sense into that girl. However, this rescue mission is a turning point in this not so pretty love affair that forces Dimitri to nearly tear down the walls of the earth to get his Little Dove back inside of their perfectly imperfect paradise.

This book had EV-VER-RY thing in it!! From street fights to helicopters to explosives to the unspeakable. Everything was on the pages of this novel and the good, the bad, and the ugly made this story a unique and well told Jaden Wilkes tale. I made the following statement after I read my first Jaden Wilkes novel, if Quentin Tarantino wrote a dark erotic tale then you would have The Beast, Perfectly Normal, & definitely Little Dove.

I digress. I hope this is not the last I read of Dimitri, Columbia, and Nico, because I have a feeling that after reading this epilogue there is so much more story to be told. Please don’t let us down Ms. Wilkes…Sincerely, A Fan.

This read is not for the faint of heart or for readers under 18.

OMFG!!! First off…if you are under 18 or easily offended by anything this book is NOT for you! It is filled with a darkness most people wish to not see in their nightmares so consider yourself warned!

If you have read The Beast (book #1) and Perfectly Normal (book #2) you have know the relationship between Dimi and Columbia and should be as in love with them as I am…but I warn you this book will absolutely gut you! I gasped, swore out loud, and nearly threw my tablet across the room but settled for throwing it on the couch next to me so it wouldn't break…which wasn't satisfying enough but I had to finish reading!!!

With Dimi beginning to make amends to people in his past and Columbia continuing to strengthen her confidence and fighting ability both are finally completely and totally accepting of themselves and in love with each other. You would think it is time for them to have a little reprieve from the dangers of their lives, however, that was before Eden (Columbia's now 14 year old sister) comes for a visit. After a trip to Rome goes awry Columbia gets her mind set on righting the wrongs done to those who can't protect themselves and Dimi knows better than to argue with her. Yet, even the best laid plans fail and the outcome can be devastating.

Dimi has changed so much from The Beast until now. Still demanding, controlling, and intense he also has a much softer side that has been brought out by Columbia…just as her strength and confidence has been brought out by him. However, what would happen if they lost each other? Would they resort to their old selves? Would there be anything that could save them from themselves aside from each other?

I am totally not giving any spoilers away…just food for thought. I f'n loved this book and the emotional roller coaster that came along with it. Jaden Wilkes has done it again and I can't wait to see what she has in store for us with the remainder of this series because the end will have you absolutely gasping in shock!

This is a 5 Star Plus book!!!! When I finished I was totally speechless. Dimitri, Columbia and Niko are living their own little bit of happily ever after, but when killing is in your blood and there are so many evil people in the world, what is little dove supposed to do?
Columbia and Dimitri are meant for each other in every way possible. They are both very loving caring people in their own way, but both have an extremely dark erotic side that makes them perfect together.
The killing of Sergei is epic. Just because Sergei is dead doesn’t mean that someone else isn’t going to take his place. So when Columbia suggests beginning to hunt the human trafficking leaders down one at a time, Dimitri tries to discourage her but he also knows that he can’t say no to her. In this book Little Dove takes us all over Europe in her journey to help alleviate more evil one step at a time.
We get to see more of Columbia’s little sister when she comes to visit. She is quite a handful. While they are on holiday, they encounter evil firsthand when she gets involved with the wrong man. Luckily Columbia and Dimitri are there, but this just fuels the fire in Columbia.
This is a dark, erotic, high intense romance, with human trafficking, kidnapping, and finding and freeing lost souls. This book took me places that I didn’t think was possible, it had me on my toes and kept surprising me at every turn. I don’t know how Jaden Wilkes does it. This series of books is amazing and just keeps getting better. The action and suspense went to a whole new level.
Throughout this book we were able to meet more people from Dmitri’s past that come to be a part of this crazy little family that they are creating. They are each dysfunctional in their own way but that is what makes them understand and love each other. It is so hard to put into words just how much I LOVED this book, bottom line this series deserves to read by everyone that can handle it…

Dimitri is a force to be reckoned with, his enemies calls him the Beast.

Former member of the Solntsevskaya Bratva and the boss’s right hand man, he was The Enforcer in human trafficking. Sanda and Columbia changed all that, planting seeds of humanity in his frozen heart. To atone for his many crimes he sets out to prove he's not the man he once was. He will give anything, bleed a thousand times over to liberate those he helped enslaved.

Dimitri trained Columbia, helped shaped her into the vibrant killer. Together they will go out and save those who cannot save themselves. It was a well thought out plan until Columbia became the prey.

Hoping for a miracle, she'll do whatever it takes to stay alive, until Dimitri, The Beast can save her.

There is so much going on from the traumatic to the brutal, and even some exciting. Columbia is now a fighting, killing machine ready to take on Sergei, while Dimitri is trying to make amends for his horrible past deeds. Great tie in with Boina,Ioana, and Irnya-the past is now present. Dimitri's victims/enemies children have become adults and it's reckoning time. All the characters show extreme bravery and strength (the women especially)with all they have to endure. I hate all the brutality, but painfully accept its reality inside the sex trade. Dimitri is on the brink of becoming the "enforcer", but I don't think he could ever go back to his old ways . As he says many, many times throughout the series once he meets Columbia-everything changes. She is his reason for everything, so unless she dies(which he won't even allow her to speak about it) there is no way would he become a think-less killer. Eden is a little confusing for me. She comes off way older than fourteen. She's such a brat, just asking for trouble putting herself in harm's way like that. I was shocked by her revelation to Columbia and very disappointed. Columbia did everything to keep her safe and protected, but Eden just let things happen. What kind of sister love is that? Maybe she was scared, too young to really understand, torn between loving her father and hating the monster maybe? Such a complex, and well crafted story-very dark, gritty -NOT for the faint of heart . You won't be disappointed exploring this world of sex, violence, love, and redemption.

Jaden Wilkes is one of those authors that you either read her stories and enjoy/love them or you read them or you read them and despise them. I’m more on the side of enjoying them, especially her novel The Therapist, what that says about me I’m not sure!

The first book in this series was a great read although I have to say I cringed at the end, many who have read this will know what I am talking about, this however did not put me off reading the second in the series and enjoying it, but perhaps being slightly disappointed. This book is more of the same, not in a bad way at all. We get the same two character, Dimitri and Columbia, along with Columbia’s sister and Ioana.

Parts of the book will leave you wishing to inflict violence and other parts, sometimes the same part, will leave you feeling ill.

If you have read the other books you know that Dimitri will stop at nothing to keep Columbia safe, or to get her back…..

Book 4 will be an interesting read. This is one of those stories/series that I would only recommend if you enjoy reading a darker, more twisted read. If you want to give this type of genre a go this is one of the better series to start with although some of what is done will shock and disgust…

Please note I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Jaden Wilkes, I loved Little Dove! You write deliciously dark books with a story. I am not going to go into the description of the book you can get that from Jaden's description on Amazon, Goodreads, B & N etc. Jaden has you going all through Europe on a chase of very bad men. And, Jaden takes out the bad guys. This story is full of twists and turns. WARNING: Little Dove explores dark themes, has physical & sexual abuse, human trafficking, and a little taste of menage, m/f/m) and lots of great sex. There are also some heartbreaking moments. This is a book that is also filled with hope, love, and light in the dark and,oh my, what an ending! I am hoping this means there will be a "The Beast #4"!

I got a chuckle from this excerpt:
“She looked well enough, decked out in vintage Chanel, her fiance’s favourite. She thought it was a little tacky, to have matching everything, but her fiancé was American, from California, so what did he know about taste.” Jaden are you trying to insult Californians? Okay just teasing.

If you like dark reads and you have read the warning and you are okay with it then this is the book for you!

I received this ARC in return for an honest review.

WOW... What do I say about a book that left me speechless?

This book was the darkest book I've ever read, it definitely made me cringe a good number of times. Just when I thought I wouldn't be able to handle anymore she would give me a reprieve and I was good to go until the next gruesome scene. It was all very well balanced for me and that helped. It was very dark but had the light to even the playing field... somewhat...
At the same time this book was beautiful and full of love! The love that Dimitri and Columbia share is twisted, unconventional but one of the most beautiful of love stories I've ever read. Their love is an unbreakable bond as you will find out in this book. When Columbia is taken Dimi will stop at nothing to get her back. He can't function without his Little Dove and he will destroy everything and everyone in his path to get to her. The action in this book was fast paced and page turning and the sex was filthy and just the way I love it. I loved The Beast and Perfectly Normal but I have to say that Little Dove is my favorite so far. I recommend this book to anyone who loves a dark read.

Wow upon Wow upon Wow.

Did I love this book, well that is an understatement. This book was funfuggingtastic.

This carries on from where the previous book left off and let me tell you, you are in for one hell of a ride. We see different characters in this that all come together.

My favorites are Dimitri and Columbia what a couple they are, and to see how Columbia has evolved as well since being with Dimi. Gone is the scared and meek girl and we have something completely different instead.

This is a dark read, with alot of violence and disturbing sex scenes so if that is not your cup of tea then my advice would be not to read it.

But if you are like me, then this is a one hell of a good read, if I could give it more stars I would.

This is the 3rd book in the series. I enjoyed the story. It may be difficult for some to read but it can also be educational. Columbia, Dimi and Nico were trying to take down the traffickers but it was Columbia who was taken by the traffickers into that horrible world. Dimi's love for Columbia was so strong that he did everything in his power to find Columbia. At the same time, Columbia's love for Dimi was what helped her through horrendous times in that awful world. In this book there were other characters introduced which brought more to the story.

This book is dark, emotional and can be hard to read for some. But is a great book.

OMG...and the brother. I'm looking forward to the next one.

To say this series gets better with each book is an understatement! Each one of the books in this series is AWESOME!!! Loved how the author introduced new people in the epilogue of Perfectly Normal that had you scratching your head, like how the heck do these people have anything to do with this series? But my gosh, did they ever have lots to do with it! Love Jaden's writing! I have her on my one click no questions asked list!

Awesome… Flat out freaking awesome.
Loved seeing more of these characters! I loved the locations around the globe as well. They've come a long way from their penthouse in Vancouver.
It was so gritty and dark it hurt to read it was so raw, I've never read anything quite so dark and twisted.
The action was insane & fast paced, the brutality of sex trafficking was portrayed in all its harsh light but their survival of it was… beautiful & empowering.

Read it... ASAP.

I finished this story last night. It was a fast-paced read, much like the other two books in this series - however, and multiple occasions, this one made me cry. Damn you Jaden Wilkes! In all seriousness though, this was an excellent follow-up to the first two books; a perfect combination of dark erotica and gritty crime drama. Five stars, for certain.

I love this series! Each book is better than the last! Little Dove is definitely more graphic and violent than the others and definitely not for everyone. I enjoyed the flow of the book and the new characters Wilkes has introduced. If you like dark and gritty stories, than this series is definitely for you.
