english title: the northern grand duke's hamster.
read the main story so im gonna say i finished it. the side story is still getting translated and will release in a month or so.
overall, very cute story. shu, our hamster is funny and smart. kyle, our duke is kind and strong. the beginning started really strong, probably because was a hamster 98% of the day so we got to see the duke's normal behavior. the end was a tad rushed but didnt ruin the whole novel for me. cant wait to read the side chapters, i think theyre mostly slice of life and i would love go see them when theres no pending doom or death flag over their heads.

Review for: The Northern Grand Duke’s Hamster
I think this is my first Korean LN. IMO, I think it was not bad; some of the plots were a little unpredictable, and it felt refreshing. The concept/ mechanism of transformation between an animal and a human is a little similar to The Disabled Tyrant’s Pet Palm Fish, but the storyline and plot are completely different.
It's pretty fluffy, smut only in the side story (a handful of chapters?), may be a little draggy? The interactions between MC and ML are quite healthy and sweet, and of course, cute.
One gripe I have is the conclusion of some "antagonists" which were incomplete ?!?!
Other than that, it was a pretty good read? Recommend reading if interested in cute animal/ human transformation trope.
