Eric Ross Gilliatt provides us with three samples of his autobiographical writing, each one ringing with the truth and directness of Knausgaard.
Christopher Walker and the newcomer Orel Hart go for wit and characterisation as much as for plot.
And Polish voices are represented too, with a piece about the Achilles tendon sandwiched between a story set in Croatia and a fine piece of epistolary fiction.

"Please the Threes" is a fantastic mix of styles and voices, with something for everyone—I couldn't put it down. Hats off to Christopher Walker for his brilliant editorial choices. The international touch and variety make it a joy to explore—an absolute must-read!
