From the New York Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal Bestselling Author, Sandi Lynn, comes a story about true love and what's meant to be...

They say young love isn’t real. It’s only our bodies full of raging hormones, and our minds filled with lust that make us think we are in love. I can tell them that they’re wrong. Young love is real. It can, and it does exist, at least in my seventeen year old life.

My name is Claire Montgomery and I come from a family of snobs. Born into wealth, against my will, my family will do just about anything to uphold the perfect Montgomery name. I ruined that for them the day my car broke down on the side of the road and I met the love of my life, Sam Snow.

Sam is from Santa Ana and I’m from Malibu. Even though, I come from a family of wealth, I want nothing to do with any of it. I like the simple things in life, like Sam. My family doesn’t approve of him and they try to keep us apart. The last thing I remember is waking up in a hospital with no memory of my life.

This is my journey after my accident to figure out who I am and who I was. The road to recovery isn’t easy but the one thing that stayed with me after the accident was the soft voice and words that I’d never forget.

“If your love was true and eternal, you will find your way to each other again.”

I can't understand the 4 and 5 star reviews...am I reading the same book? I had high hopes for this book based on the synopsis but I was very disappointed. Way to fast and rushed. The writing felt very childish to me...I was not impressed at all... :(

" If your love was true and eternal, you will find each other again."

Remembering You was a very epic and lovely story of two people destined to be together, about fate , about finding your soul mate, about the definition of true love and about finding love then losing love ,but finding love again. Sandi Lynn wrote an incredible love story, she just proved to us yet again why she's one of my favorite authors.

" Let it be my hell too, Claire. Share your life with me. Tell me what happened to you."

Remembering You is the first book in the Remembering series it's the story of two young lovers Claire Montgomery and Sam Snow. Claire is a rich girl from Newport Beach with snobs as parents that only think about appearances and only socializing with people from their world. Sam Snow is a boy from the other side of the tracks if you can say he works as a mechanic in a shop to help is single mother with the bills. One day he meets Claire and they fall in love instantly, the book is fast pace so you see their courtship pretty quickly. Claire loves Sam and Sam loves Claire ,but Claire's parents aren't fond of their relationship so they forbid Claire to see Sam. Claire runs away from home with Sam ,but on their way to Sam's house they suffer a car accident that leave them in critical condition. Claire wakes up with no recollection of her life, you see because of the accident Claire suffered from memory lose so she doesn't remember anything including Sam. As for Sam he to was in critical condition and he to suffered from memory lost, the last year of his life was gone which means he doesn't remember Claire and this is how the journey of finding yourself again and finding and losing your soul mate comes to play. If you want to know what happens next if you want to know if the true meaning of fate and soul mates are real ... well you will have to read this book to find out. Trust me it will tug at your heart strings.

I give Remembering you 3.5 remembering stars. The book was good can't wait to see what happens next to these two remarkable characters and to see where their journey of love will take them.

"I lost three years with you, and believe me, I will spend the rest of my life making it up to you."

I was charmed by this short novel. Everything is a bit rushed, but not necessarily in a bad way. It has a decent plot, and it’s bright and hopeful.

Wtf did I just read? Let’s see...the story lacked depth, it was cheesy as fuck, and it wasn’t satisfying in the least. Worst of all it had insta-love. Blehhhh. All the characters were very dumb; including the main characters. Again, I think it “could” have been better if it weren’t rushed and lacked depth. When it story lacks in that department, it’s hard to find a connection to the characters and plot. I hate insta-love but there have been times where I could tolerate it. Unfortunately, this book is not one where I could tolerate it.

What a beautiful story the only thing wrong it's to short couldn't put it down and I had fell in love with Sam Snow from the start the events and tragedies him and Claire went through was horrific even tho fate won as always the lies shouldn't of happened in the first place Claire was right to be angry with her family and friends I would have done the same

3.5 lovely, remembering you stars! I love a book about a strong minded heroine who knows what wrong and right and is not afraid to put people in their place, even though it might be her family! Claire was wonderful and once she got bits and pieces of her memory back she was fierce in her love for Sam. I adored that!! It was beautiful to read! I do wish we had Sam's POV though. It would have been nice to get this side of the story. What was he up to for those three years without Claire? I hope the continuation of this lovely sory doesn't see them breaking up after all the time spent apart. Well waiting for the next one...

Indeed true love conquers all. The moment you meet your soul mate, nothing and no one can keep you apart. May it be distance or any tragedy, the love of your life will remain in your heart.

Though this was shory, it was very sweet. Sure it felt rushed in some places but I very much enjoyed Sam and Claire. I can't wait for what happens next.

This was awful. It lacked depth and it was just so boring. I didn't feel like there was any real feelings or emotions behind the characters. It just didn't do it for me. The book had potential, but needed more work.

Love the story and I love the characters however this one I felt was too short and too rushed. I think a bit more depth would have helped in connecting with the characters even more.

Amazing Read!!!

I absolutely loved this book!!! I couldn't out down my Kindle once I started reading it.

Claire Montgomery comes from a wealthy, snobby family; she's absolutely nothing like her mother, father, or big sister, Zoey.

Claire drives an older VW bug, not needing or wanting expensive car. When her car unexpectedly breaks down and her sister refuses to pick her up, a nice guy in a row truck, Sam Snow, offers to give her a tow to a shop he works at.

Immediately they hit it off and start dating against her mother's protests and threats. When Zoey's slimy fiancee makes up a false arrest report on Sam trying to get Claire to walk away from him, Claire packs her things and leaves with Sam in the middle of the night. But when they get hit by 2 drag racers who run the light, both are in comes fighting for their lives.

Claire wakes up with no memory at all, she doesn't remember the last 17 years of her life and has to trust what her family tells her. She feels like they are hiding something but can't figure out what. When she sees a picture of herself with a hot man and asks questions, her best friend quickly lies about his identity. But Claire keeps getting these headaches that being back memories when she's doing something that she's done before.

There years later, Claire has had enough coddling from living with her parents and decided to move to Seattle. For some reason that place stands out to her. She was supposed to go to the University of Washington before her accident but that was another thing that her family lies to get about.

When she moves into her new apartment, she meets her new neighbor, Sam Snow. There's something about him that makes her safe. They are both from California and live 20 minutes from each other, and now they live across the hall. But Claire knows that she's broken, she's not the same girl she used to be.

When Sam witnesses one of Claire's headaches because something triggered a memory, he panics. She pushed him away because she's scared. She doesn't want to hurt him and decided to tell him everything.

When she finds out that he was in an accident exactly 3 years ago, it's too much of a coincidence. When she tells him her theory, he doesn't believe her. It's more like he's too afraid to believe her. That is until they go back to California to visit their families and his Mom sees he's with Claire again and confessed that her parents paid her off to lie to him all these years.

The couple are hurt by the admission, but Claire's relieved that she's not paranoid or crazy. They missed out on so much because her parents didn't think he was good enough because he didn't come from money.

Claire confronts her family, disowning them; never looking back. Now they can start their lives fresh.

A must read!

SO HEARTWARMING AND HEART WRENCHING!
Claire is a beautiful girl who's family is rich and her mother Corrine and sister Zoey are the biggest snobs and Claire is the complete opposite of them so all they do is fight. Zoey's fiance Dylan is a total douchebag who puts the moves on Claire but she doesn't tell anyone. Claire's father Harry is kind of the buffer between Claire and her mother and sister. Sam is this gorgeous sweet guy who works as a mechanic and he drives a tow truck. On his way back to the shop one day he finds Claire broke down on the side of the road so naturally he stops and they're instantly drawn to each other. They're love for each other grows fast and then the shit hits the fan. Of course Claire's family doesn't think Sam is good enough for Claire. The love between these two is so overwhelmingly heartwarming I was falling in love right along with them. Then one night something horrible happens that had me crying on the edge of my seat. Then as the story went on it kept me guessing. I was so curious I couldn't put the book down. When things start to be revealed I was so happy I was ready to jump up and down. Then ending was perfect. I was screaming YES!! Claire is my new favorite heroine. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

Such a bittersweet novella, the title tells it all. Claire and Sam have a love that can’t be denied. However, there certainly are people who want that love destroyed. And, one tragic night, circumstances will set the stage for their love to be erased, wiped away, totally forgotten. But can true love, real love, ever be forgotten? Is there something deep within the psyche, the spirit, that remembers?

Possibilities are endless with this type of storyline.

✓ Good second chance story
✓ Betrayal from those closest to you
✓ Memories gone, wiped out.
✓ Hope for getting back what was lost
✓ Social status more important than family/friendship

This is a good story and covers all the bases, but needs better development. It’s just too short to do justice to all the above check marks. More emotion is needed to draw the reader into the pages. I like to feel a story, not just read it. I like to be able to relate to the people, feel their pain and struggles. I like to see real remorse, see people actually realize their wrongs. There were many people here that needed a BIG comeuppance, but, unfortunately we didn’t get to see any of that.

How can this novel have a high rating when the narrative was so hasty.
There were no descriptive details. The characters were flat. The story developed in a predictable way. It was a poor copy of The notebook when in fact it had great potential according to the synopsis but it fell short of writing.

I can only describe it one way. TERRIBLE

Como puede esta novela tener un alto rating cuando la narrativa fue tan apresurada.
No hubo detalles descriptivos. Los personajes fueron planos. La historia se desarrolló de forma predecible. Fue una pobre copia de The notebook cuando en realidad tenía gran potencial según la sinopsis pero se quedó corta con la escritura.

Solo puedo describirla de una manera. TERRIBLE

I normally like Sandi Lynn's books, but this one just fell flat.

The storyline had a good chance of being a good book, if it would have been full length and not a novella. It just wasn't long enough, and given the amount of time to tell Claire and Sam's story in the detail it really needed. It was too rushed. They meet, fall in love in two dates, it skips ahead two months, events happen, and so forth.

I never really connected with Claire and Sam as a couple since the story was so rushed. They fell insta-love so quickly that their love wasn't really believable.

It says book 1, but I'm guessing since it was released six years ago that there will not be a book 2.

I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a quick novella about insta-love and betrayal.

Great story line, wonderful characters, an all around feel good inspirational romance. The characters are easy to connect with, the chemistry between them is undeniable and their story is a heartwarming romance. This is the tale of a young couple torn apart by fate. She's from a well off family & he has a single mum struggling to make ends meet.
Clare's family doesn't inform her of the situation in regards to Sam & years later they bump into the other. I can't say too much as it would give the story away. If you enjoy a YA read then this is the book for you.

It was a roller coaster ride of emotions from start to finish. Claire and Sam meet as young people that go there own way. Man these characters are engaging and well developed with a strong connection. Like the other readers I hope the author does a followup book. The storyline isn’t long but what there is will grab your attention.
