When I was in the third grade, I decided to take up the pen in attempts to imitate my father. My first attempts went poorly, but somehow they ended up becoming published. Since then, I've been motivated to improve my craft with every story I tell.

This book is collection of short stories and what I suspect starting ideas for a few as well, as some ended rather abruptly. For myself I really liked the story "Sang Ver." It has been a while since I've avidly read Sci-fi, but It was likeable, but I will also say that some felt a little cliched, i.e Phronesis, the titular story.
Overall, I'd say its a enjoyable read.

'Phronesis' is an anthology of eight remarkably well-written and thought-provoking short stories of science-fiction genre. All of the stories are set in modern-day Bangladesh which is also one of the reasons why it should be so dear to the readers as they can relate the background to their everyday lives. Although all eight of them had good plot and execution, 'Kritodas' , 'Sang Vert' and 'Obhishapto Atma' were exceptional, with 'Sang Vert' being my favourite. 'Sang Vert' has a particularly intriguing storyline and is based on the epidemic of a fatal disease. I would have said more but this would mean spoiling the experience of reading the book for the first time. I must say that all of the above-mentioned stories were spellbindingly crafted by the laudable wordsmith, Salman Mehedy Titas, and this review is just too short to appreciate it entirely.
