Rate this book
Jennifer Jaimeson's life isn't turning out exactly how she planned. But plans change, and she is nothing, if not adaptable. Now after four years out of High School, things are looking up. Well they were, until Bailey, the ex girlfriend of the guy she's been rooming with and lusting after, arrives back in town. And once Cam and Bailey rekindle their romance, Jennifer is on the outer once more.

But Bailey has a secret. A bad secret. One that Cam knows nothing about.

Jennifer may have just discovered the opportunity she's been waiting for, and is set to put her new knowledge to good use, when an old High School friend of Cam's, Tanning, comes to stay, He's hot with a capital H, and nothing like the geek she remembers being mean to in High School.
Her explosive lustful feelings for Tanning are soon confused with her residual warm feelings toward Cam, and the life she planned to have with him.

And that's just the beginning.

When the father of her unborn baby, Travis, and her childhood crush, and tormentor, Jason, come back into town, things are going to escalate fast. This time no matter what she does, or how she tries to adapt, she has absolutely no control.
And this time, her messed up life, is about to get a whole lot messier.

Hi all,
I live in Australia and I'm very proud to be the mother of two very lovely boys who keep me very busy.
I have been writing for the past six years, and have two romances and a twisted fairy tale now published on Amazon.
I love hearing from readers, I think as an author it is such a buzz to know someone has taken the time to read your book.
I hope to re-publish the eternal curse series this year, with new titles, covers, and a re-edit. After losing my publisher last year, I've decided to self publish the series and freshen them up.
Cheers all and have a great day.
Jxxx

Jen (aka Sweet Cheeks) never planned to be a single mom, but when no-good Travis knocks her up and then bails on her, Jen is ready to do everything she can to be a good mom to her unborn baby. She's hoping she won't have to be single for long. She's always been in love with Cam--all she has to do is convince him to ditch his girlfriend. Fate has other ideas. Tanning, a hot ex-geek from her past, comes into her life, taking the starring role in all her daydreams. But, just when things are looking up for Jen, another blast from her past blows into town, but this visitor plans to turn her life into a waking nightmare.

This second book in the Heartbreaker series is another impossible-to-put-down read. Bailey and Cam, the main characters from the first book, are back to play an important role in Sweet Cheeks. Told from Jen's hilarious but sometimes heartbreaking point of view, this book has twists and turns that kept me turning the pages. Like the first book in the series, Sweet Cheeks has a sweet, tender romance brewing, but unlike book one, this novel also has elements of danger that threaten everything Jen tries to achieve for herself and for her baby. Jen's character development as this book progresses is truly a pleasure to watch, as she morphs from selfish, insecure mean-girl to a compassionate friend to a courageous mom. I'll definitely continue to watch this author and eagerly read anything she publishes in the future. Great book!

Sweet Cheeks by J. Dorothy is the first book I've read from her. I should have read the first book, Heartbreaker, but that is all right. I'll just read it after. I am giving it a 5 star rating because I just loved the story and hillarious. It made me smile and stay up until 2 A.M. reading this book (started around 12:00 A.M. last night.) I also added this book to my favorites on my kindle because this is a book that I will re-read in the future. I liked the characters but Jen kind of irritated me a tiny bit but not much. I didn't like Travis as much as the other characters, even to the end of the book. I just don't. Overall, it is a great book. (:

A highly recommended summer read.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. 'Sweet Cheeks' has a distinctive, punchy style and a strong, intriguing plot-line. I loved Jen and Tanning. JJ has a powerful voice - helped by the author's preference for using the present tense rather than the past - and I love the way she matured and developed as a character throughout the novel. Tanning is a romantic hero to die for, and he has the patience of a saint. The odds against them making it as a couple are huge, and I spent most of the book wondering 'Will they? Or won't they, get it together?' But I don't want to spoil it for any other readers.... Buy it and find out. A highly recommended summer read.

The storyline of Sweet Cheeks is a tiny bit farfetched, but hey, a little suspended belief never hurt anyone, right? It took me a while to warm up to Jennifer, aka J.J., aka Sweet Cheeks. Her character is pretty horrible, so self-absorbed and self-centered that I nearly deleted the book. How often can one read "I'm so hot. I'm so hot. I'm hotter than every other woman." without wanting to slap someone? I kept reading, though, and ***SPOILER ALERT*** (sort of), she grew up. I truly enjoyed watching her character grow and come to the realization that maybe she wasn't the center of the universe.

So why only two stars? Because J. Dorothy is in desperate need of an editor. The whole time I was reading, I kept thinking, "This reads like something off Wattpad." Sure enough, in the author's notes at the end (yes, I read them), J. Dorothy acknowledges his/her Wattpad readers. The book is heavily littered with missing words, misplaced words, incorrectly used words, and the like, the sort of thing a decent editor would catch. And, wow, J. Dorothy, really, loves, commas. There are commas galore throughout the book, the majority of them incorrectly placed or worse, completely unnecessary. The typos, wrong words, and crazy comma overload pulled me out of the story so often that it made finishing the book a challenge.

I really hope J. Dorothy will heed my advice and find an editor. The story is decent, but could have been so much better. (P.S. Please do a little research on childbirth. I don't believe there's a birth in the Guinness book of records to rival the speed of this one.)

After reading the first book in the series ‘Heartbreaker’ in one sitting, I couldn’t wait for this one to come out. I tried to be disciplined, but I’m afraid it was another ‘can’t put it down till it’s finished’ kind of read and I was hooked.
After a cameo role in Bailey’s story I was prepared not to like Jennifer Jameson as she takes on the starring role in this one. And yes, she’s definitely a minx, but when she’s faced for the first time ever with putting someone other than herself first, you get to see the real Jen and boy does she shine. She is the most captivating, heart warming character with all her highs and lows and smiles and pouts and is now my favourite character. She and Treasure Pot are a force to be reckoned with and heaven help anyone who gets in Jen’s way.
Once again a punchy, quirky story brought to life by the author's unique voice, and characters that make you laugh and cry. Beautifully written. I do hope there’s another one soon.
I can’t recommend Sweet Cheeks highly enough. If you love a real, contemporary love story, then this simply can’t fail to enchant and entertain!
