Rate this book
Equinox is a unique volume of poetry that contains poems about Denmark and poems which are dealing with various philosophical themes such as higher individualism, justice, truth, and monotheism. In some of the theological poems there is a call subversive of chauvinism, bigotry, and primitive idealism. Furthermore, the excessive appearance of alliteration in style and the novel inclination towards aphorism in diction renders many of the poems as conclusive and didactic in message and tone, yet not without the excellence of thought. Hence, the play of words in many of the poems in this collection is equated with the art of adding spices to the intellectual salad of poetry. Hence, aestheticism in this collection is a servant of Message. Equinox is an extraordinary, intriguing, and mind provoking collection of poetry.
