Hmm... Very confusing, and not very good drawings. Hard to tell who is who in the beginning. And the book starts like - in the middle of the story.
A funny detail, though: the sloppy drawings put the fantasy to work - I had some fantastic dreams of gods, Nordic handicraft, omens and heroes, and their women, after reading half the book just before bedtime... 😅🍀❤️

With captivating illustrations, cool writing and a strong contextual background, this comic makes for a really nice read, especially by some candlelight during cosy winter conditions.

Whole-heartedly agree that the Mosdal's art style and colours are great but I actually did enjoy the storyline a lot as well. I understand not everyone might find it engaging because it's hard to find likeable characters here as they are prone to violence, backstabbing and quite self-serving. Still, the power play intrigue amongst the tough grim men and semi-supernatural undertones are quite... metal, let's say and help to build atmospheric storyline.
