A beautiful story of love, success, friendship, relationships that aren't based on blood and ambition which demands passion and honesty.

Hashim Nadeem never disappoints, yet another master piece.

A story of all of us who seek change and betterment but do nothing but pass judgements. He writes to make us think about our standards of change. He questions us that is change possible if we keep on obeying the powerful and slaying those who are weak? He makes us open our eyes to injustice and immorality.

A must read.. strongly recommended..

I didn't like the FL at all and I didn't liked the way she end up with our ML (yesss, I didn't like it at all)(which one if you ask then its 'gehna') aghhh, why am I so mad over it!?!
I'll try to find the reasons why I didn't liked the way she ended up: So this girl who was pretty charming, outspoken, had ideals for the man she wanted in her life (pretty set ideals that for) had no interest in ML whatsoever, even after many meetings, and when asked about her opinion on him, she was pretty clear what she wanted and didn't like how ML was leading his life, no inclination or interest, basically a simple No from her! and the ML was pretty reasonable, after her no, he never tried to touch the topic again in any way! tho, he wasn't able to forget her, he was respectful towards her.
then, our ML meets another girl, who also in someway had lost her first love and thanks to some circumstances they get alot of time to spend together and have formed great compatibility with each other, and eventually/carefully/slowly she falls in love with him, and tells him clearly without any hesitation, but is fully ware of his first love, so she totally get that and respect his choice n inclination, in short a veryy healthy relation, clear communication, matureness reflected in both of their choices n decisions! I loved this pair!
this is till 90% of book...
then, out of nowhere, towards the end of the book, our heroine comes back and says ohhh I didn't knew when did I fall in love with you, and my ideals failed after falling in love, blah blah blah (sorry, but no sorry, I'm mad at her character, we never get to see how n when she fall in love with her coz they hardly ever saw each other after that) and now she already knows about other girl, and says 'but I know she is more deserving so go.. I've freed you from my cage of love (im translating it v.badly ik, but smth on the same lines) anyways, and then when our ML is prepared to marry the other girl, everything is set, she says I heard you guys talking and she's not marrying you bcoz of me so I'll back out, and then magically the heroin comes back and yeah they meet! This is sooo childishly ridiculous, they made the ML a ping pong ball they're passing from here n there, most of the times it happens with women in urdu novels, here it happened with a male character, regardless of gender I find it awful, I mean how can you in minutes change your mind about the life partner!?! also, there were some regressive thoughts, gender and career appropriation dialogue (ig from FL herself) which made it even more worse. End of my rant!! I'll think twice, no, 10x before starting a Hashim nadeem novel next time (if I ever consider starting, ofc) .. I can't uds he's the same man who wrote Parizaad!
ps: I liked the ML and alllll side characters, even second heroin to some extent! Ig the ending ruined it for me which otherwise could've been a good book acc. to me!

Just finished reading Aik Muhhabat Aur Sahi. I have to say most writers revolve around Civil servants and since Hashim himself is a Civil Servant, no doubt he would write about it. Though not as obsessively as Umaira Ahmad does. Loved the story and the characters. I wish people had more in them like the characters of Yaqoob "Ranga" who is known as a don but who does and follow the rules like part of his faith. And Those like the boy "Ayaan" who wouldn't differentiate bewteen themselves and others. or perhaps they put others before them. Ayan and I have similarities like we're siblings. The world cannot handle people like Ayaan neither can Ayan survive in today's world. But That's what we need if we want to have a content and a happy life worth living.

Loved reading it.

It was one of the best books I had ever read. It was not that much philosophical or literary rich, but the story was very much near to life. We all face such things in our daily lives and I can connect to the story in the book. I had read it again and again and intend to do so once again.. I send thus book to friends who want to start reading good books.

I have read an Urdu Novel after a long time, let me share my inner feelings regarding our Urdu literature, to be honest
I read and explore various literatures globally but how much I explore others literature I automatically enclosed to our Urdu literature, I don't know why but it's a beautiful reality of my life and experience.

so now let me talk about that Novel " aik muhabet or Sahi" written by a wonderful and one of my favourite writers Hashim nadeem, as usuall in this novel he has depicted each and every phenomenons of our society and human nature.
I just wondering what he has not mentioned our real life problems and delimas in this book, such as our Educational system, our jobless youth, pressure and expectations of society, battl of good and Evils, Importance of Relationships though it was in the form of Friendship, family and so on.
Ayaan is such a amazing character who struggles in his life without any settled destination but he has found himself in his life's journey. His strong bond with his siblings as well as with his friends delighted me a lot I was just like " yr life m Kuch ho na ho longlasting lofer dost zrur hony chy, or aik cafe Feraaq🫠" it keeps you alive✨.

well the plot and twist of that short story is such well designed and I really love the writhing style especially beautifully choosen words but I wish there must be such Authentic lines and wonderful duologues must be delivered by FL ( gehna) but regaring that I like the character of Fiza.
Well, I strongly recommend it to my youth just dive yourself in it and you will learn a lot from this l. The one of the important thing is it is not beyond our daily life problems And toxic happenings, the reader feels automatically that it's me in this story.

Ajj barey dinon baad ek achi kitab parhney ko mili, jisey parh k waqai laga k humari purani kitabon ki tehreer waqai kis qadr pur israr hay. Just love in with Hashim Nadeem's writing style. Kesey khubasurat alfaz istemal kar k is kahank ko 4 chand laga diye han..
LET'S GET TO THE REVIEW :
First of all, i would like to say k jo log issey kisi movie ka rukh deyna chahtey han, i am totally against it. Han ho sakta hay k movie achi lagey lkn jo maza kitab parhney ka hay wo movie ka nahi ho sakta... To yeh kahani, ghar ghar ki khani hah, lkn ikhtimam sirf mehnat karney walon ka hi aesa ho ga. Yeh kahani hay Ayan nahi bandey ki, jisko har baao ki tarahn uska baap b yehi mushwara deyta hay k apey Lofar doston ko choor ki apni parhai pey deyhan do, or apney liye koi sarkari nokari dhondho. Aj g Ayan mian ki to andaz hi alag han, har waqt bistar torney k ilawa in sahib ko bas ek hi kaam ata hay or wo hay doston k saath awagardiyan(yeh may nahi in sahab k aba jan kehtay han)..
Or in sahab ki kush harkat ki waja say Ayan mian ko Ghar badar kar diya jata hay, or wo b kasam khatey" han k jab tak kuch ban nahi jaon ga ghar wapis nahi aaon ga "..
Kis tarhan ek second ya third divison may pass honey wala, apney aba g ko apney peron pey khara ho k deekhata hay or ek mukhtalif Ayan ban k samney aata hay..... Uski zindagi ki mushkilat or chand kushgawar lamhat ko parh k yaqeenan app ko boht maza aye ga.

Amazing plot to learn from for a failed lover like me. :P
Also an amazing plot to kill all blockbuster movies. If given a chance, I would love to work to use this plot as in a movie because there are millions other who would love to see this book in movies.
