I read this book last summer after buying it during a bargain sale at a book store. I had no idea what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. It is a perfect summertime book and you can actually feel the humid and lazy summer come alive as described by the narrator. I can honestly say this story sucked me in and I could not put the book down until the end. For me, it was one of those books where, when finished, you have to sit quietly for a while to absorb what exactly you just read and re-evaluate life and the different types of people in the world.
